I am rejecting this response because:
National Barn's response would have been acceptable if one were seeking to understand the overall business climate of the pole barn industry. National Barn readily accepted my deposit with the return of my signed contract on March 12, stating that construction would begin in 6-weeks. If I were not to be added to the queue until I was site-ready (May 2, 2014), what was the purpose of a deposit on March 12th? Over weeks have passed since I was site-ready. The president of National Barn assured me that my barn would be delivered last week, however once again, it wasn'tMy complaint does not question the quality of National Barn's products as I have contacted two of their former customers in my area and found that both are satisfied with the quality of their buildings. Unfortunately, what first came to mind when asked about their National Barns were lengthy delays and frustration with lack of communication. While other National Barn Regions receive a rating of "A" from the Revdex.com, National Barn's Northeast Region received a rating of "F", for good reasonBottom line is weeks after signing a contract and weeks after being site-ready, when will my National Barn be delivered?

I am rejecting this response because: I think I've been more than patient putting up with their multiple excuses including some of which they didn't pass on to you in their response National Barn when contract was signed and deposit paid sent me paperwork stating build start 6-weeksThey notified me of all materials were to be delivered and give driver certified check July Shipment of material was incomplete and to date materials have not been supplied On my signed contract terms and conditions, there is no mention customer has to wait indefinitely because of weather, delays, company internal problems with employees or customerI also makes no mention customer has to wait indefinitely due to company's on going legal problems Terms and conditions of contract does state that any cancellation of contract must be in writing which I have done by certified mailIt also states National Barn is not responsible for misuse or acts of GodThem not being able to fulfill my contract is not an act of GodSuggest you also contact Detective *** Pennpolice department *** ***>
for additional insight what National Barn,Lowell T*** is doing to customers.
Finally in some of my discussions with Lowell T*** he has lead me to believe or suggested that those customers who in his opinion he felt were being hostile towards him, that he would put them at the bottom of his list for build or try and charge them additional feesTo me this is a form of customer intimidation and is not acceptableJuly 05, National Barn said I was very next customer (working Days) for build startWe are into October, are we to believe they haven't completed their builds from July time frame yet? Why in their statement did they not inform you that my build is suppose to take place such and such date?
At this point reading their statement to Revdex.com it appears Lowell T*** of National Barn Company is also trying to string you out as long as he can, as he done with me

A check has been mailed for the partial refund and fee.

We again agree that [redacted]s building is being delivered according to the recent change order to a material only package to be constructed independently by [redacted]s choice of contractor asap.  Thank you.

I will be calling [redacted] this evening.  We are back logged from last winter but we also would have [redacted] delivered and built by now if not held up by the cancelation demand. We have her customer ordered color and size material that cannot easily be used on just any building. I would...

like to schedule the delivery for asap. And assign the crew leader to come and finish the building.

A contract was signed by National Barn and [redacted] Homes to construct a barn. We received the signed agreement and contract which made this a legal transaction. As stated in your contract delays due occur so the original contract will be upheld and a barn will be constructed as we agreed in the...

previous signed documents. We will be contacting you to go over the details and to get on the same page. To avoid anymore delays we will issue a change order anytime a change occurs wether that is due to a weather delay or any other type of delay that can occur. We look forward to speaking with you about the construction of your barn.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: National Barn Co. LLC by and through its President Lowell *. T[redacted] abandoned the project on or about  June 2, 2014. On Thursday 5/29/14 building materials were delivered to my home by National Barn employee Mr. Jerry G[redacted] and crew. On Friday 5/30/14  I contacted Hanna S[redacted] at the main office of National Barn in [redacted], Pa and made a payment of $5,549.00 for the delivered materials by way of a [redacted] credit card. Per my telephone conversation of Thursday 5/29/14 with Mr. G[redacted], he stated that he was returning to the "yard" to pick up additional equipment and tools and would return on Monday June 2, 2014. I told Mr. G[redacted] that was good because that would give me enough time to schedule a footing inspection with the [redacted] County Building Inspector's office for Tuesday June 3, 2014. On Monday morning June 2, 2014  I received a telephone call from Mr. G[redacted] who advised me that he would not be able to return to my job-site today (6/2/14) because Lowell was sending him and his crew to a big job in Virginia. He also stated that he did not know when or if he would ever return to build my barn. Mr. G[redacted] apologized and asked that I contact Lowell for any additional information. I attempted to contact Lowell T[redacted] at his office, on his cell phone, and via e-mail. After over three weeks of negative contact from Mr. T[redacted] or any one else in National Barn management I contacted my bank and directed them to dispute the charge of $5,549.00. It should be mentioned that when the materials were delivered National Barn made no effort to protect them from the weather. During the past 85 + days the unprotected building materials have been weather damaged to a point that they are not acceptable to the Building Inspector or to me. In addition when the materials were delivered to the job-site they were placed in such a manner to encroach approximately six (6) feet onto my neighbor"s property doing considerable damage to his landscape as well as mine. Mr. T[redacted] was notified of the above via USPS Certified Mail on July24, 2014. National Barn has been notified to repair the damage done to my neighbor's property as well as return my down payment of $6,419.00 which they have held since November 24, 2013.
Regards,

[redacted] is being introduced to her builder [redacted] tomorrow June 18th to arrive Monday June 24 th to begin building.

[redacted] was delivered and the builder assigned. [redacted] , at that point, had done a chargeback, breaching his contract. He did not use the described method of dispute resolution which is; predominantly, arbitration. Instead, he elected to breach his contract which is still in breach. There are materials that have not been paid for on his site. Because of this breach of contract, we are sending out a letter to [redacted]; notifying him that the building is to be built and he is liable for the cost of the materials and construction, which is now being blocked by [redacted]. This is his second home site, not his predominant residence that is blocked off. Not allowing us to gain entry is also a breach of our contract. We would like [redacted] to get his payment re-established and allow us entry to complete his building. Thank you.

[redacted] was informed of a back order/back log on the horse stalls for several weeks due to the back log of everyone in the construction industry, especially in this part of the country. Much like National Barns back log has increased dramatically over the last months causing set backs as far as some delays go on original anticipated time frames. [redacted] is no exception when it comes to his horse stalls. We attempted to explain this but [redacted] was not satisfied with that as an answer. He wanted us to deliver and try to build sooner than we were able to when it comes to his complete package, including the horse stalls. He is delivered and assigned out to be built by Jerry G[redacted]. His building will be constructed over the next couple weeks. Thank You.

national barn has stop communicating with me. I did speak to someone when I called on Tue. They told me no builder has been assigned to my job. materials are ruining in my field. This job should have been done in May. materials were supposed to have been ordered in May. So ,to talk about back orders on material they just ordered is unacceptable . They don't even know what they already shipped to me. Talking about stall material on back order that I already received . All I know is that the $11,000 I already gave them and have receive  no services constitutes Larceny .

To whom it may concern,

I am writing on behalf of [redacted], complaint #[redacted].  We discovered that our case was closed, and couldn’t understand why because we still have no resolution to our problem.  We never responded to the response National Barn gave you because they promised improved communication, so we waited patiently for some word from them to no avail.

I’ve attached the letter from National Barn Company which was post marked 10-14-14.  This is 11-26-14 and we haven’t heard a word from them since.

I emailed them on 11-23-14 , explaining our dilemma and have not heard back as of today. I explained to them that we have horses that need relocated.  [redacted]’s 80 year old mother is doing her best to care for them but the bales of hay are too heavy for her to manipulate when the need more.  The drive is lengthy and we just can’t be driving to care for them every day with full time jobs.

We understand that the summer started out rainy and I’m sure put a lot of construction jobs behind schedule.  But at the same time, we can’t get a real person on the phone to find out what’s going on.  We have called and left countless messages, which have not been acknowledged.   Our site has been ready since May.  We need those horses moved now.  If National Barn can’t make good on their promises and deliver our building ASAP we would like a refund so we can make other arrangements.  They could at least call and give us some information.   We have watched several buildings being erected in the area and would like to get on a local contractor’s list so we can get a building.

Nobody from National Barn has called or emailed with a promise date or that they will refund our deposit.  Please help us get some resolution to our problem.  We are really frustrated and disappointed with this company.  If they can’t deliver NOW, we need our refund back so we can make other arrangements.  It’s a simple as that.  Months ago we considered driving to Hanover PA to see if the company was even still afloat.  That’s how elusive they have become since they were in receipt of our money.

I hope you will reopen this complaint and get us some resolution.

Sincerely and thank you,
[redacted] PA  [redacted]

It is not up to the customer to determine the quality of...

the crew or the correct way to construct a pole building. There are times when it is necessary to train people on how to properly construct buildings. The contract as well as the agreement, which both are signed, neither state the length of time needed for construction. In reference to the State Troopers being contacted, no report has been received stating the damage was a result of poor construction. The State Police are not qualified construction workers, therefor, they cannot make an accurate determination about the cause of the building collapsing.
[redacted] was sent an email stating we were going to pick up the materials from his site. [redacted] would not allow National Barn on his property without first having a signed agreement releasing him from the contract. He has since reversed all of his credit card payments, receiving a refund in full. Upon review of [redacted]'s file, National Barn has determined he is in breach of his contract/agreement, both of which have been signed. National Barn has sent a certified letter describing the breach to [redacted], with the request to comply, allowing National Barn to continue construction of the building.
