National Renewal Exchange Reviews (126)

I received a notice in the mail that if I called this toll free number I would be entered into a drawing Sounded simple enough, but then I was suddenly purchasing a stack of magazines I didn't want I agreed to one magazine, and it snowballed The salespeople are very good at what they do, and fast It took me a long time to get the list of magazines whittled down to three, and I am still getting magazines that I did not ask for I am also paying a lot more for these three magazines that I would if I purchased them from someone else I am not happy with this company I have found it difficult to cancel my magazines -- there always seems to be some excuse They train their people very well to confuse the customer This is why I refuse to work in sales

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
They agreed to my requestAnd supposedly had already cancelled my contractTime will tellUntil then I'm satisfied
Thank You!

I have a complaint with the National Renewal Exchange They indicate that I entered into a contract in June of this year for them to provide me with eleven (11) total magazines The overall charge would be $or $39.99/month for months After their (the company) call in June, they (the company) started billing me $in the months of July and August At this point, after reviewing my credit card statements, I noted the charges and attempted to get out of this "so called" contract First, I called them, then my wife called them, after which we went to our credit union and filed a dispute The dispute was not accepted because, "they had my voice on a recording." This is fallacious since I DID NOT agree to their documented stipulations I believe that somehow they must have spliced or doctored my answers to get a recording that dispels my complaint When my wife called the company they played to her the recording which included such details as: my name, birth dat

After several conversations with this company to discuss cancellation of services, our requests have been deniedBilling continues through automatic payments even after cancellation had been expressedA recent conversation with a representative, who claimed to be a manager, reveals that someone had placed an order sometime earlier in the year and was given days to cancelDuring the conversation the dates kept changing thoughIt was expressed that there were several attempts made to cancel this account and at all times we were denied cancellationAttempts to resolve the issue by paying for services used were denied due to it being "past the time of cancellation." This same person claimed to have called and left several messages throughout the day, not sure where they left these messages because their is no answering serviceNever were any contracts provided for review, as required by the state of Minnesota

I have tried repeatedly to cancel my magazine order they refuse to stop billing me
I spoke with someone in December told them I could no longer afford the magazinesAsked them to please stop taking money from my cardI called again today because I found out they are still charging my card once again was informed that im required to continue to pay for several more months I don't want the magazines and don't feel I should continue to pay for something I do not wantAnd have repeatedly told them to cancel

To Whom it May ConcernMy records show we responded to this on 3.26/18. We spoke with customers daughter, *** in regards to account. We cancelled the order and placed Mr *** on our internal do not call list. Sincerely National Renewal Exchange

To Whom it May ConcernWe have reached out to customer repeatedly to resolve, and have not heard back from the customer. We have cancelled order, eliminating any more billing on account and placed customers phone numbers on our internal do not call list. Customer may continue to receive
magazines as we have already paid for them but customer will not be billed. Sincerely National Renewal Exchange

I received a call from National Magazine renewal in April about a subscription to magazines, the representative informed me that it would be $49.99/month Approximately months later, I received a call from the company informing me that my subscription was up for renewalUnbeknownst to me, I still had approximately year left on my current subscription The company started charging me $every weeks for subscriptions for the same time I started receiving phones calls from the company saying that I was delinquent in my paymentsAfter reviewing my statement, I realized that I was being charged twiceWhen I informed the representative, he told me that I would have to pay off one of the subscriptions and I wasn't able to cancel it otherwiseThe representative was unsympathetic that I was paying for the exact subscription National Renewal misrepresented the subscription and now I am stuck paying for subscriptions when I only wanted one

Dear Ms***,Thank you for contacting National Renewal Exchange regarding the complaint filed by *** *** While we deny any wrongdoing in our dealings with Mr***, we have resolved to provide Mr*** with his desired resolution In closing, we thank Mr***
for his business, and we welcome any questions or additional feedback that he may have Thank you.Respectfully,National Renewal Exchange

This company is the poster child for what is wrong with corporate America
Their methods are unethical and fraudulant! They prey on vulnerable people who can ill afford to buy magazines they don't even want! This is accomplished by using high pressure sales tactics served up by fast talking, confusing sales associates reading from scripts prepared by slimey coorporate goons, who work for greedy, soulless overlordsThe ss have somehow managed to find a way to bind unsuspecting customers to an endless contract that requires their victims to pay for magazines they never ordered at a three hundered percent main price! They accomplish this by tricking customers into making a recorded oral agreement over the phone! Apparently this is legal??? I recently contacted National Renewal and asked them to cancel my magazine subscriptions and was told I was responsible for seventeen more payments of sixty five dollars a month, for magazines I never orderedAfter much heated discussion with their customer service representative I told her I would simply direct my bank to stop any further paymentsThe sales rep then informed me that my account would be turned over to a collection agency and a report would be sent to the credit bureauThe amount of money they have stolen from me is a fairly sizeable amountUnfortunately it is not a large enough to pursue legal action but I assure you I am going to research this company in depth and find out the names and addresses of the creatons who own and manage this scam!
I will hunt them down and make their lives miserable!

Hello,
I see that I am not the only one that is not happy with this company
I have been told by the company that I cannot CANCEL my membership/BILL I am only on Disability and like others, didn't know that I had to PAY $a month for monthsThe total comes out to $
I called them to CANCEL but I was told that I couldn'tI still would like to CANCEL this order, even though they have let me only pay $a monthEvery months I have to call them thoughIf I don't call them then it will go back to the $a month
I really don't have that kind of money to spend on magazines
Any HELP would be greatly Appreciated
Thank You

Just like so many others before me my husband got suckers into b Magazine's and when he called to canceled days later they said they would not remburise the he already paid but they would cancel and my husband made SHURE he told them they no longer had permission to take any future payments out and that was aggreed on by the associate over the phone that was in March then we see a charge again in may called back and then they said he cannot cancel we fought over the phone thought it was resolved then again in June still the same issue I don't know how these con artist are getting away with ripping people off like this I hope and pray with efforts and smarts someone finds the loophole in this operation and brings them down it's funny that they record the calls but never have anything on record when you call and cancel better yet when you ask for a you contact to be mailed to you for you records they refuse
