National Renewal Exchange Reviews (126)

I agreed to something I did not know I was getting intoI was misinformed about the magazine subscription, and I am having payments taken out of my account about $a monthI am a full-time college student and currently not employed and I cannot make these paymentsI have called and attempted to cancel my subscription because I cannot make months worth of payments and they will not cancel itThey gave me an extremely hard time when I said I wanted to cancel and they simply refusedI have even had my mom attempt to cancel and we have both expressed that I no longer want their services and yet they still refuse

This company is billing me for magazines I did not orderI have contacted them repeatedly to cancel the subscriptions and they refuse to do soThey claim I agreed to purchase these magazines for a three year period and that I owe them over a thousand dollars in future paymentsI never agreed to this and when I sarted receiving unwanted magazines and bills for these magazines I contacted the company and asked them to cancelI was told that they had a verbal agreement from me to charge me for these magazinesI only agreed to purchase three magazinesI am receiving twelve magazines that I have no interest in

This company along with other companies tricked me (a social security recipient) into what appeared to me to be a magazine scam The other companies canceled their accounts, this one refused

If I was told upfront I could not cancel, without paying the full amount, I never would have made that irrevocable commitmentThe representatives had a brow-beating approach and exploited momentary emotional duressWe, of my household, later thought/talked over the cheap prices and decided that in regards to the magazines themselves, it was like walking out of a restaurant without leaving the waitress a tipThe cherry on top is we tried several magazines and had them changed, but we still keep getting the one's we don't want tooSnail-mail spamJust so you know, it ain't right

I tried to cancel my subscription by canceling my credit cardMy credit report now has a delinquent report for a late feeI never wanted the service
I received a call from NRE for a magazine subscription in After a couple months, I realized it wasn't what I wanted at allFor the next four years, I tried to cancel and after being harassed for giving my credit card info I kept dishing out $59.99/month and finally ended up cancelling my credit card a couple timesNRE kept calling my personal and work phone and harassing me for my money because of a verbal agreementI told them I didn't want their service and they told me I wasn't able to cancelI stopped answering after they called for 6-months after the last conversationI now have a delinquent hit on my credit report because of late feesI need this off my credit report so I can apply for a loanThis company has done its fair share of harassing me and trying to get money out of me when I tried to cancel with them many

On 4/3/my original agreement was for monthly payments of $for a total of $to receive magazines that I liked for various amounts of time as noted on the paperwork sent to meThis was billable to my Visa cardThere were no further charges to be incurred thereafter and the magazine subscriptions ranged from to yearsAll of a sudden I find I'm being billed $monthly for what I have no idea and when I tell them to cancel everything they tell me they can'tI shutdown the credit card they were being paid from and now the account is delinquebt and they are sending threatening lettersThis needs to stop and they need to be stopped from doing this to others as thery are obviously doing from what I am reading about themCan you help me?

I have been trying to cancel a magazine subscription through the National Renewal ExchangeI sent them a letter and the signed notice on the back of my statement to cancel within the days of the billing notice recieved, not dated, as the mail in Alaska is slowI then recieved a call coercing me to not cancel and got talked into staying, but at a reduced priceThen was billed at the previous amountI just want to be done with this company and want my subscriptions canceled

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meAs long as they do not send me any bill for their unwanted services/ magazinesNot happy that They sent this to collections, I don't need their mess up on my credit reportI shouldn't have to pay cause we told them we didn't want their services They had a chance to talk with my wife but they refuse to talk nor listen with her

The sales person that called my home asked questions to confirm I understood the sales conditions of the magazines I thought I was paying a one time purchase of something dollars for a few magazines When the second month hit my credit card my wife called and spoke with the customer sales department she listened to the recording Every statement the sales rep asked to confirm I understood other than my comments above to be different he answered and quickly moved on When his was pointed out, the customer service reps did not seem to care instead of cancelling the mags and the account they have continued to call and scream at me and my wife When we ask them to reconsider they advise we are in collections because we missed one payment After contacting our credit card company, they researched and agreed with us and stopped future drafts I have had to file bankruptcy in the past few years and was advised I could tell any collection group to stop calling and communicate

To Whom it May ConcernWe discussed Mr *** order with his daughter on March 26th per she filed complaint for him. I do apologize for the late response. She was happy with resolution of eliminating any more payments for Mr *** and placing him on our internal do not call list. Mr
*** will continue to receive magazines but will not be billed. Sincerely National Renewal Exchange

A magazine company, National Renewal Exchange, contacted me regarding placing an order for magazines Initially I thought they were providing different magazines on a trial bases The company contacted me and I thought my purchase agreement was for a one year subscription I provided my debit card information to cover what I though was a trial period A company representative, Teresa, contacted me months later (I think the initial order was in May 2017) and said I had an outstanding balance to be paid and wanted to set up a payment plan In turn, I explained that I was unaware that I had agreed to the order she claimed that I made I never received any previous order form signing any such agreement I mentioned to her that I had been receiving magazines in which I had NO interest I also stated that I wanted to cancel my order with them because I had received several magazines I couldn't read I was told that I could not cancel my order? In turn, I tried to point out that I
