My mother is elderly suffering from dimentia and this company National Renewal Exchange continue to call her many times a day demanding money telling her they will take away all she owns and attached her social security check She does not remember even giving these people her banking information and has since been placed in a home as she is no longer able to take care of herself What does an elderly woman who is loosing her sight want with fishing and parentling magazines? They preyed apon her and took advantage of her! I have gotten on the phone during one of there phone calles when they were yelling at her to pay her bill immediatly and tried to explain and get this cancelled with them telling me that I had better pay it for her or they would go after me as well I hung up

I was getting free magazineThen National Exchange called to tell me it is time to renew I had no problem with that so they went over the issues with me that I had I told them that some of them I do not want anymore so we went the ones I wantedLong story short I got the ones I wanted and I understood that I was paying a one time fee until next renewThen I see in my account that they took another payment outSo I called and ask why you took a payment out again and she said that would be every month and I told her I can't pay that every month so I want to cancel the subscriptionThen she tells me I can't I said it's just like any other magazine I don't want them any more, so she tells me I will be paying payments of bucksI said no I want to cancel it she said they couldn't cause the books are pre issued or ordered or something I said you got plenty of time to stop them then she said it takes up to to weeks to get one book no impossibleShe said she sent me all the i

I am care giver with a Power of Attorney for *** *** who has been disabled for more than yearsHe had been a victim of
telephone solicitations and agreed to receiving magazines even thought he cannot read them and only disposes them in the trash upon receiptHow did his bill expand to $714,Mr *** was asked to give his credit card number over the telephone and not knowing what he was doing he said yes
Mr *** is physically and mentally challenged and these magazines were approved for him without his knowledge of what he was doing
I will contact Mr ***'s attorney to pursue this abuse against a senior who is ill

I had contacted the Magazine Service to cancel my subscription
On 3/14/2016, I called ###-###-#### and was connected to a Service AgentI explained to the agent that I wanted to cancel my subscriptionShen then asked why I wanted to cancel, was I not satisfied.....I explained that I needed to cancel as my finances were tight and I could not afford making the monthly payment as I had my monthly house note and utilities needed to be paid on timeShe then went on to say that I was only allowed to cancel in June/and since that date has passed I can no longer request a cancellation and she could just go ahead and defer a months payment while I could make arrangements to pay for the serviceI then told her no that I just want to cancel as my house note and utilities are more importantShe again refused and said she could defer payents for two months and said I can not request a cancellation as I am obligated to pay for the serviceI asked her (just to see what she would say), whe

I there were a ZERO rating, I would have clicked on it This disreputable company preys on the lonely and simple-minded My Developmentally Disabled adult daughter fell for their come on and they have been withdrawing $per month from her bank account for God only knows how long She is on SSA Disability and works part time at Goodwill IndustriesObviously, she barely makes ends meet Right now she is getting at least magazines a month, but I have reason to believe she may be receiving more than that To say the least, companies like this should be shut down and their officers jailed I still don't know all the details of how my daughter got hoodwinked into this, but I promise, I will get to the bottom of it and the auto-withdrawals with stop immediately They can try and sue her, but she has nothing so they can't get anything out of herI am so angry right now, especially since I have been subsidizing her for the past years so that she can live independently And, this is the result Some people cannot live independently without getting themselves into financial trouble with companies like thisYou may quote me

My father has dementia and was contacted by this company and taken advantage of They have been harassing him by phone since he cancelled his credit card which was the the method of payment for the magazinesMy sister and I have both contacted this company and have asked that they please cancel the magazines, we were told both times that it is not possible My father no longer wants their magazines and also called them

NRE contacted me somehow and I agreed to purchase subscriptions and was told that my
discover card would be drafted on the day of my choice They immediately drafted my account which breached the contract I closed my Discover and how am in collections which I plan to dispute

I was offered a free gift if I filled out an application according to the advertisement on Facebook After submitting the application , I was enrolled in a Magazine subscription, which I thought for a short period for a small feeI found out later that this was fraudulent advertisementMy subscription was renewed for a longer period costing $ payable at $per monthI am unable to afford these payments which charged to my credit cardI tried to cancel the subscription and was told that I could not sine the deadline for cancellation had passedThere is no cancellation date on the letter that I received dated March 30, I cannot continue to have these payments charged to my account

I spoke to a company representative on 4-20-to cancel my magazine subscription and was informed that I could not because of a year contract I called and spoke to Tony on 12-2-and requested that my magazine subscription be cancelled and was informed that I could not and that I could speak to his supervisor to make changes to my subscription I informed Tony that I did not want to make changes, but just wanted to cancel He said someone would be calling me I informed Tony that for several months I have not had time to read the magazines due to on-line classes from my job and that I did not want to waste my money any longer Tony insisted that he would work with me and change some of the magazines that I receive I again told him that I just wanted to cancel I do not want $withdrawn from my checking account on the last day of the month any longer I advised him that I would be submitting a complaint against their company for forcing customers to stay with their
