There were no upfront explanations of any privacy policies or disclosures about the loan interest rates before agreeing. This loan was over the internet. I dont want to have dealings with this business after reading all the reviews and the dishonesty and unprofessionalism.

A review of a recent credit report shows an inquiry on July 5th, 2019.
I am inquiring of why this company is showing up on my credit report under a soft credit check when I have never contacted this company or filled a request online for a loan. I want to know why you requested a credit inquiry and what you did with this information.
Someone has obtained my social security number and is using it to obtain quick loans or applying for quick loans. I have never filled out an online application requesting any loans.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I did not open this account with this company. As I stated before someone has my social security and has opened a fraudulent account with this company. I have never applied for any loans with this company, I'm not going to pay for a loan I have never opened or initiated. I will contact the local police department and request a police report based on this letter this company provided. If this company hands out money without verifying they are dealing with the right person there is something wrong with their practices. If needed I will have to hire a lawyer to defend myself. I had to request a credit freeze and fraud alert on my social.

The problem is that they were rude when I questioned them about the interest on a 600 loan. Also the payment is ridiculous. I asked to speak to a manager and she told me to email them. Why. When they should've been there. There customer service is lousy. They are suppose to help younotgive excuses.

I took the loan on 4/26/19 for 500.00. I have made my payments for a total $1030.00 Yesterday I called an asked for a payoff amount, I still owed 400.00. There is no way these people should be allowed to continue. I don't care if they are on a reservation, I am not.

I recently obtained a 'Payday' Loan from National Small Loan in Lac du Flambu, Wisconsin. Upon receiving documents from the company, for a $500 loan, I noted that NSL would ultimately be charging me a total of $2,549.28. I also did further investigation and found that NSL is prohibited from doing business in Massachusetts, where I reside. I am also lodging a complaint with Consumer Financial Protection Agency and the MA Attorney Generals office.

The interest are too high and they purposely put the incorrect security code from my debit card, and have the nerve to send an email stating that was declined. Now, I tried to pay off my last past due payment, and they have a high call volume and want customers to leave a message or schedule a callback, which I doubt anyone will call back. I'm sure that my payment is adding up interest in there and they will send a notification that my loan have not been paid.

Made the mistake of contacting this company back in March 2019 for a short term loan of 500.00. They started taking 73.00 a week out of my account. I called them on May 13, 2019 to pay the loan off and they gave me a payoff of 521.00. This is after I had already paid them 438.00. I told them that I was revoking the authorization to take any more money out of my account. I then requested a copy of my agreement which took over a week to get. I finally received the copy of my agreement and it showed the interest rate is 749% which is illegal in our state. So if I continued to make payments of the regular amount, I would owe 2,338.04. I then emailed them and made an offer of settlement and it took almost a month for them to email me back. Keep in mind that when I called on 5/13/19 they gave me a payoff of 521.00 but when they finally got back to me they told me that my payoff was now 1,900.04 but they were willing to settle for 752.88. I don't think so. Upon further research and talking to an attorney friend, this is illegal and doing even more research found that this company is not licensed to do business in our state. I am willing to pay them the 62.00 to pay the rest of the 500.00 but am not paying them another penny over that. These people prey on those in a tough financial situation.

The interest was horrible and shall kill you! for the amount of $500.00 dollars they give me a term to pay it for 8 months and the monthly payment is $318. calculating that total amount from the amount loaned 4 times the principal amount. I canceled my loan. I would rather use my credit cards to is maximum than grabbing their offer.

Due to medical reasons I needed to take out a loan to cover expenses since I was hospitalized and not working. It was a $500 loan which I have now made 23+ payments of $73 weekly. If you do the math that is already like 1700!! This is unreal and completely a scam! Never able to access my account online have to call in. They claim there are different payment options but makes no sense at all! They aren’t helpful or accommodating! I strongly advise No one do business with them! You’re down and trying to figure life out and they rip you off! This is ridiculous! Paying tons more than you should be! Stay away from them!!!

This responds to the above-referenced complaint. This inquiry related to a loan from Midaaswi LLC dba National Small Loan (the “Company”), which is owned by the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians (“Tribe”).1 The Company takes these types of inquiries very seriously. The customer originally filed a complaint with the Revdex.com on May 6. The customer took issue with the cost of her loan. The Company responded on May 14, explaining the legality of the loan. The Company also advised that it had closed the account and waived the outstanding balance, as a courtesy. As such, the Company believed this complaint was resolved.

On May 16, the customer responded, claiming the Company’s correspondence did not address anything specific to her loan. The Company disagrees. As mentioned above, the Company’s correspondence dated May 14 advised the customer that her loan had been closed and also explained the legality of the fees and interest related to her loan. If the customer was having difficulty accessing her account online, the Company would have been happy to assist her with that process. The customer can call 1-844-388-0500 if she has any additional questions regarding the online login. We would be happy to discuss these issues further, but, again, please be advised that nothing in this communication should be construed as a waiver of the Tribe’s or the Company’s sovereign immunity, all of which are expressly preserved. This company is a complete rip off and scam. There’s nothing positive with taking out a loan from them. It may help you at first but then you’re sucked in to being taken advantage of. There is language barrier with agents. Not able to access my account online saying loan is defaulted when that’s false. I have made 23 payments of $73!! And well do the math... no reason I should still owe $450!!! They say they explain it’s an 8 month loan. I would never have done this had I known I’d be ripped off. I’m not working now as I’m doing chemo and yet they still continue to take money weekly! Do not do business with them at all!!!

Misleading sales, and unethical collection methids. Purposefully screws around with dates to accrue more fees. Have attenpted to pay off multiple times and they either do it on the wrong day or for the wrong amount, and then charge nsf and late fees. Have paid well over a grand for a 500 dollar loan and they still want 500 to pay off. I understood all the interest rates and total pay off amounts, but not the shady collection practices and over the top fees. Yet again today they attempted to pull money they were not supposed to take untill tomorrow, causing yet more fees and other bills to bounce. Now they have their excuse to increase the pay off amount again. Do yourself a favor and get a normal payday loan. They are at least honest about how theyre going to rape you

Please see attached for additional information.

Tried to have company say loan is paid in full since interest rate is too high. I will not be getting a loan anymore from them. I have already stopped them from withdrawing from my checking account and I have paid the initial loan amount in full plus more. I have had contact with them through an email but no direct phone to speak to people who actually handle more important tasks than loan approvals and payments. Interest is too high.

I took out this loan of 500.00 several months ago. They take 73.00 a week from my account . They continually call text my cell phone plus them turn around and call my work phone. But when I try to talk with a person no I end is there . I have tried to pay off this loan which they say I have until feb 25 which mean my 609 loan turned into 2509. And I questioned them about the amount of interest they said they charge like 700 percent . Which I was not told about when getting the loan nor was I ever provided any paperwork until I questioned them. They still continue to call and text me every single week even though my payment is automatically taken out of my account. I have told them I feel they are harassing me and tonokease stop. I have more than payed back the amount that I borrowed and this harassing needs to stop as well as them continuing to take money from my account . I am no longer arhourizing payments to be taken from my account .

Please see attached for additional information.

From the very beginning the reps from National Small Loan were extremely unprofessional and rude, but I paid it no mind.. On several different occasions, via email and phone I had asked for my complete balance. On October the 10th via email I was told my balance on the account was $872.54. I made a payment of $300 & made an agreement to pay the remaining $572.54 by monthly payments of $100. I was contacted Thursday 12/20/2018, to confirm my payment would be taken. I asked again my total amount and she said $172.54. I advised the woman that I’d like to pay the entire amount for my last payment so we can close this loan out. She confirmed all the information. I made sure to ask when I’d be receiving my “paid in full” letter, which she advised I’d receive 3 business days after my final payment on Friday 12/21/2018. Now, fast forward to yesterday evening 12/27/2018, I checked my email & noticed I hadn’t received the paid in full letter. So I emailed the rep over my account & requested she send the letter. She responded saying that I still had a remaining balance of $146.59 on the account due to a returned payment. They’ve said nothing about an additional balance or fees for almost 3 months, but all of a sudden when I plan to make my LAST payment is when a returned payment fee is magically due. I responded to that email advising this wasn’t the information she told me our last conversation, or via email when I asked my total. I let her know that I no longer authorize them to retrieve any funds from my bank account, I called my bank and explained everything, then called National Small Loan so I could verbally state on the recorded line that I do not authorize them any access to my bank account.. I’ve read a lot of reviews and complaints on this company, and I believe them to be true. I truly believe if I hadn’t asked for the paid in full letter that I wouldn’t of heard anything from them at all & they would’ve just taken the $146.59 out of my account without my permission, just like they’ve done others. These people are taking advantage of hardworking individuals, who unfortunately, like myself, fell on hard times.

I applied for a loan and was approved for $500. I have been advised the amount was deposited in my checking account. It has not shown up in my account and I was told the funds were deposited. When I asked tbe date and time I was given vague answers. Would not give me an exact date and time. I have been advised I am responsible for repaying the losn. Very suspicious. They want me to send them a monthly bank statement. I checked with my bank and there is no record of a deposit. The bank employee suggested just send deposit history. I do not want to be held financially resposible for something I never received and do not want them to have any more information than necessary.

Complete scam, 789.99 interest rate for 500.00 dollars. who allows these people to operate?
everyone hits a rough patch, and these people are trying to take advantage of others misfortune.
I woud like to leave zero star rating, but this system will not allow it.

I applied for a small personal loan on DiscoverPersonalLoans.com website. I followed the loan application protocol and at the end of the loan I noticed it was National Small Loam Co. Out of Fond Du La Wisconsin. I gave the personal info for the loan. Social Security, Driver Licence, Bank routing number. They said my loan was approved and proceeded to text me to finalize. When I questioned them when they called and asked them if they were affiliated with Discover and how they got access to there website, they said they couldn't divulge that information. How,are they allowed to access a website as large as Discover. Now they have personal info of mine and can sell it etc.

I applied for a loan with national small loan online. I was approved for a $500.00 loan on 10/02/2018., I waited for the paper work to be mailed to me, however I went online to get some information on the payment and due date. I was shocked that my payment would be $146.00 for 12 months the total loan cost me $1752.00. I'm a 68 year old senior citizen working part-time, please help me I can pay $75.00 monthly and some interest but this is ridicules.

I applied and received a loan with small National loan and received one with them for 500 dollars with a bi weekly payment amount of 146. I sent an email to a representative to asking to pay off the full balance on the 12th. They received and stated that the full balance of the loan will be 534.33. I paid the balance and they are now trying to get a payment of 201 for returned payments. I will not pay yet another exorbitant amount on a small loan. So they need to leave me alone.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer1. I emailed the representative who initiated the loan with me and was quoted a set amount to pay off the entire loan, which I have since paid and 2. It makes no sense to pay off the interest amount of a loan that doesn’t even have a balance anymore. As far as I am concerned. I have paid back all of the money borrowed and I will not be paying anymore.
