This client was has been refund back to her account on fileI reviewed the original call and at no point did our agent rush her or push her into something, she was very responsive the entire callAfter we received Ms [redacted] 's email requesting cancellation we attempted to call her multiple times and once we said who we were she would hang up the phone on usShe then called back and spoke to a manager and the call was handled very professionally on both sidesWe at no point have an issue with refund a client that is no longer interested in the service, which was done per the clients request

Complaint ID [redacted] Client hired us on 6/12 and once we discovered she was already enrolled in the program we spoke with her and let her know our return policy is 7-10 business to process any refunds as it states in our contract. Client she was fully refunded on 6/30 back to her [redacted] card.

We provide a referral program for out clientHow is works is when a client is referred to us from someone that is a past client they receive a check of $but only if the referral signed up for our service and pays the consolidation fee in fullFrom time to time clients assume's that everyone they refer that calls will qualify for the program, which about 20-% of people dueWhen people call that are referred and don't mention it to our agents there is no way to track those individuals as wellJust because they call doesn't necessarily mean they qualify, therefor the person referring them would not be eligible for a referral check [redacted] has referred people over and has received a total of $in referral checks for those referred clients I assume she may have had more people call that didn't qualify and that is where there is confusion

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowMy personal information should have never been sent to EAC...due to the fact that I had cancelled on the same day with the rep that I spoke toI rcvd a email confirmation that my application had been cancelled on 06/08....nothing else in the mail was sent to me as a physical cancellation.My acct and personal info should have not been forwarded to EACThey adv me that they rcvd a cancellation as of 7/11/Which is an error on NSL part not minesIt is xfecting my credit and needs to be corrected due to the fact that it should have never been sent out to EACI have reached out to them multiple times on my part, and they refuse to change itThey are stating it will be reflected as a charge off, which it should not beIt is your duty to make things rightIt is not my fault that you sent in the cancellation late, and that you had to pay them back for what they gave you.

3/23/*** called us and signed up for our services,4/7/Client Consolidation was submitted to the Department of Education5/16/Client called *** and had all payments chargeback6/15/Client had to requested to cancel after all work had been completedAll fees paid to us were issued
back to the client from *** through a charge back after work had been completedSince there is no fee's to refund I have closed this account out on our end

This client was issued a full refund and cancelled out once she had contacted our office on 5/3/Please see attached copy of refund check that was cashed by our client

We spoke to the client to clear up her complaint with the submission of her student loan application I was able to confirm that multiple applications were submitted on behalf of the client by National Student Loans (NSL) which was an error on our side I explained to the client the
issue with the double submission and the plan of attack to remedy the issue We have already contacted the loan service provider and cancelled both applications The correct application has been completed and faxed (and mailed) directly to the loan servicer. At this point in time the client, Ms*** *** has made two payments towards her consolidation fees (78.84) which NSL has already refunded and mailed to Ms*** today, Oct25, Ms*** agreed to the refund and to continue to make the consolidation fee monthly payments to NSL.I consider this complaint closed as our compliance manager, *** *** has directly spoken to the client and she agreed to the what was stated above Please let us know if any further information is required

Currently this client is enrolled into a loan forgiveness program with the department of educationHer loans are currently with Fedloan Servicing, and if she is to call they will confirm this information as well (800) 699-The client states that she thought her monthly payments were going to
her loans, which in our recorded compliance call we clearly state you understate that you will be paying a third party company Equitable Acceptance in the amount of $39.42, this is also a separate payment from your monthly payment of zero dollars going towards your student loans is this correct, client states yesI have attached the recorded call that either party can listen toWe will cancel out Mrs*** with Equitable Acceptance per her requestShe is in a forgiveness program and she was very aware per the attached recorded call what her loan payments were and what the monthly payment of $was being applied toWe never want a client to be mislead but at the same time we stick to a very strict compliance policy to avoid any confusionWe want to make sure Mrs*** stays in her program so she is insured loan forgivenessContact us at anytime with any questions 800-220-

I heard National Student Loans program on the radio and I thought this would be a great way to start my new year off by settling my student loan debts I was told they could help me lower my student loan payment and I could even have my loans forgiven because I work in public service I was told in order to get started they would put my loans in forbearance and my loan servicers would be contacted regarding the requested consolidation I was also told that if I joined I would need to submit a payment of $ I told the representative, that I would truly consider, but wasn't able to make payment until February He assured me that he would collect my payment information, but wouldn't charge my account until the date I requested Funds were taken out of my account shortly after our phone conversation on 1-22-16, which put my account in the negative I tried to truly buy into the program, but to my dismay, another incident cause me to doubt the services especially, since the 2nd payment of $was drafted from my account on 3-3-
I called to get a receipt of payments made on 3-6- I was put on hold several time and finally the representative came on the line and told me that National Student Loan US services couldn't provide me with a receipt I was told, "I could use my bank statement, as my receipt." I really started to worry especially, since I had already made a $payment thus far and no services were provided
I called back on 3-20-to asked the NSL representative about the forbearance because I was still receiving calls by my loan servicers The representative mentioned, that according to my files with NSL, my loans were in forbearance She said that I would continue to received calls because the loan consolidation wasn't complete She mentioned my paperwork was still being processed I told the representative at that time I wanted to be refunded and I wanted to cancel my services with National Student Loans US She placed me on hold and came back to the line requesting my login information from Federal Student Aid at which time, I told her I would follin writing I truly feel deceived by NSL
As of this date, I feel that I am a victim of fraud and deception My trust has been broken and I feel I am a victim of identity theft I requested a cancellation with NSL because it was open fraudulently I asked the amount of $to be refunded because services were never rendered
I would like to request a fraud alert on this organization so that incidents of deception may be prevented in the near future

he last message I got stated that the company, National Student Loans, was cancelling my account as requestedIt also stated that they would contact and cancel the adjacent account with *** ***Because I got an update on my credit report showing continued charges from *** ***, I contacted them today and was told that they did not hear from National Student Loans until March 19, As NSL has given no help when I tried contacting them about the delay and subsequent charges, how do you suggest I resolve this issue?

National Student Loan 800-220-is a complete jokeThey promised to do all these things to assist me with the loan forgiveness program and completely had my loan in a complete messI was receiving letters for PHEAA regarding my loan after dealing with Frank Healey (Francis) if he was even an legit personThey was charging me $per month service my loan to ensure that it remains in the loan forgiveness statusI sent all my information to them and my debit card was copied and used in North Carolina shortly after this transactionLast week, I had to call PHEAA to discuss the loan and was told that the same information that I had already submitted in August was resubmitted in April She reported that new information kicked out the old informationThey never received my income verification from the agencyI had to provide all this information again and ensure it was receivedI had to go online and complete the IRB forms againI will have to complete the loan forgiveness forms as well
I just do not understand National Student Loan being able to continue to operate when they are frauding individuals with lies to help themMy payment was to be $for the next years and then I would have to submit more information to continue on the loan forgiveness programI was very skeptical about this but since a friend referred me I thought I would try itI hate that I suggested that others contact these cons
