I heard about National Student Loans over the radio as well, and called them for a consultation. I was rejoiced to find, speaking with National Student Loans consultant [redacted], that I qualified to have all of my student loans 100% forgiven, since I meet the qualifications for NSL's "nonprofit social service employee" program. I found though, after being quoted a cost of $231.67 to be taken out of my account March 21st, April 21st and May 21st, I was not able to actually make my first payment until April. When I called to follow up about this, Mr. [redacted] mentioned that "we [National Student Loans] attempted to make a withdrawal and the payment was declined." When I expressed my concern about this, since I had never given NSL authorization for withdrawing any money from my account at that time, Mr. [redacted] attempted to back pedal and tried to redirect my line of questioning by asking for my payment information over and over. I eventually let him know that before I currently did not have any payment information for him at the time of my call and was wondering why, if NSL had qualified me for a program to eliminate 100% of my student loans, was I still getting calls from my student loan providers; Mr. [redacted] stated that this was because "your loan providers know that you qualify to not have to send them payments anymore, and this is their desperate attempt to get money from you while they can." After hearing this explanation, I told Mr. [redacted] I would call back with payment information; after reading reviews and seeing the grade for this company on this website - I don't think I will and I feel like I really dodged a "refund headache" !

I had our accounting department verify that the original check had not been cash and was able to confirm that, so attache is a scanned copy of a new check that will be mailed out today.

Client is claiming that this is a student debt scam and that there is no forgiveness  program. Attached is a recorded compliance call that we do on every file to be sure the client knows what they are signing up for. I have also attached proof of [redacted] consolidation that was completed on...

confirmation. Maybe it was lack of communication but it is pretty clear she was told not to file. I will have a refund check processed to the client for all fee's paid in the amount of $527.00.

Client has been cancelled with Equitable Acceptance and will no longer be billed by them. A refund will be issued in the amount of $433.62 for all payments made to Equitable Acceptance. If client has an further questions they can reach us at 800-220-8850.

The client was in a defaulted status as she stated with her current loan servicer, she was require to make 3 payments in her current program in order to switch to an Income Based Repayment which would have lowered her payment substantially and removed her from defaulted status. We were able to...

consolidate her loans and help her to some respect. We will cancel her our in our system per her request and have Equitable Acceptance's contract canceled and closed as well. When a client is in default it limits what can be done and what is available. We hope that she is able to get back on track and apologize for any misunderstanding on our end.

Complaint ID [redacted]Client hired us on 6/12 and once we discovered she was already enrolled in the program we spoke with her and let her know our return policy is 7-10 business to process any refunds as it states in our contract. At this time the customer was cancelled out in our system on 10/21/16. Client is not due to make any payments towards the consolidation payment of $1,377.00 as that has been canceled with EAC on 10/25/16. If client has any additional questions hes is more than welcome to contact us at [redacted].

The complaint listed above has not been resolved. I have never received a refund check from this company. I had received excuse after excuse that they sent it to the wrong address & that they would do ach deposit. However, nothing ever arrived. So this complaint has not been resolved as they stated. I would not be taking the time to pursue this matter if I had been refunded. Who ever they sent the check to was not me, nor cashed by me, nor has a refund been returned electronically. All they have to do is reverse the charges electronically and be done with this. Please help me get my refund back. Nationalstudentloans.us would not take the time to resolve this matter with me by phone. Instead I was given rude treatment for trying to resolve this problem.

This client was has been refund back to her account on file. I reviewed the original call and at no point did our agent rush her or push her into something, she was very responsive the entire call. After we received Ms. [redacted]'s email requesting cancellation we attempted to call her multiple times...

and once we said who we were she would hang up the phone on us. She then called back and spoke to a manager and the call was handled very professionally on both sides. We at no point have an issue with refund a client that is no longer interested in the service, which was done per the clients request.

A full refund and cancellation of her file is what was requested and is what will be processed please let us know what else can be done so that she is satisfied. Thank you

Ms. [redacted] was issued a full refund as she requested. With regards to the family size being placed at 11 the only explanation is human error when the original application was filed. The processor at the time is no long with the company. When an application is filed with a family size larger than 5 a...

letter of explanation is required from the client to complete the consolidation. I am not ever sure how this even got processed by Fedloan servicing in the first place.
