NCB Management Services, Inc. Reviews (176)

Review: I have asked on several occasions for the settlement options to be given to me in writing so I know this is an actually offer and not a scam. I have been denied at all times for this information.

I have also received several phone calls outside of the actual time frame allowed for calls to take place. For example: calls can not start until 9am per FTC regulations and I have received them at 8am before.

Also, I have been told I had to open a checking account or they would not be able to continue working with me. I do not want a checking account and do not want to pay over the phone due to being the victim of a scam before.Desired Settlement: I would actually like to speak with the actual company I owe money to because I'm not even sure they really gave you all the account. I want all offers of settlement in writing and I want them to stop telling me I have to open a checking account or else.

Review: I am disputing the above-referenced debt, which does not belong to me. This debt was not verified as required by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

If this debt properly verified, they would have seen that I was deployed to Iraq in combat serving our country at the time this debt was acquired, so it cannot possibly be mine.

I personally notified NCB, by phone and in writing that the debt was not mine and asked them to remove it from my credit report. It still remains on my credit report, thus NCB is now reporting information that they know to be inaccurate, or failing to report information correctly, which violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act.Desired Settlement: Remove this from my credit report now.

Review: NCB has been making harassing calls to my personal cell phone for months. Normally I receive at least two calls per day. They're trying to collect debt but will not provide any information about the debt or who owes it. I do not have any outstanding debts other than my student loans, which are currently paid about 2 years ahead. I assume they're calling a wrong number, but they will not stop harassing me.

Review: The company representative continues to call and ask for personal information. When I refuse to provide personal information, they question why I do not want to resolve the issue. I told them I am happy to resolve the issue but refuse to hand out my personal information for security reasons. They claimed I did not respond to mailings. When I told them that I had responded with a payment, he apologized and said he saw that I had sent a payment. To me, this is suspicious because he seemed to be playing off of the information I was providing. I have been unable to verify that they represent my bank because they will not discuss anything without me giving information to them. This has scam written all over it. If it isn't, they need to change their policies to be more sensitive to personal security.Desired Settlement: I would prefer they stop calling me and allow me to continue making payments as I am able. I explained to them that I cannot send money that I do not have to send. I had a major change in my income because of a life change. I am sending money each time I receive a statement from the company.

Review: The company is trying to collect on an outstanding debit owed to credit card. They continue to call my home phone sometimes four times a day and now they are calling my employer ! Where I work which is not right. I want them to stop calling my employer who has nothing to do with my personal issues.Desired Settlement: I want this company to stop calling my employer and my home and to correspond through written documentation only! Review: This third party company contacted my after three years about paying an old debt. ([redacted]. This company quit sending me statements and I was not able to contact them. Their number no longer worked. I was not able to contact them and that was when I quit sending my payments) ([redacted] was charging me and outrages amount of interest. I have paid more interest that principal on this loan. I made several attempts to get an agreement with [redacted]. They refused and then I quit receiving any type of communication. So now this third party comes in and harasses me at work. One day I received 10 calls in one day. They say if I do not pay I will go to jail or loose my house. How can they threaten me like this when they know nothing about my circumstance. I asked for them to quit calling me at work and to send me a itemized statement of the agreements I had with the company. All they sent me was payments made and no agreement where they said they agreed on payment arrangements. How can a third party company come and collect three years later after not having any type of contact during the three years.Desired Settlement: To be done with this. To accept All the interest I have paid as payment on the loan. Why should I be harassed by this third party. [redacted] has gone bankrupt. Maybe if they had worked with their customers they would have had a better business relation.

Review: I entered a settlement agreement with NCB in Jan 2013 to settle a credit card debt.

I agreed to pay $500 a month for a total of $8000. As of June 2014 I have paid $8000

to NCB. Now NCB will not honor the agreement. I have a written copy of the agreement.

I can sent you a copy.

I sent a letter to NCB June 30 2014 on this matter. I have no reply as of this date.

I thank NCB used fraudulent and deceptive practices in this agreement.Desired Settlement: For NCB to honor the agreement.

7/29/2014Dear [redacted]I reject the response from NCB. I have enclosed a copy of the settlement arrangement I made with NCB. I made this arrangement with Susan R[redacted] at NCB in Dec 2012. The arrangement was presented to me as a legal settlement for my credit card debt. I am sure NCB would have a copy of the settlement arrangement.

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response. If you wish, you may update it before sending it.]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I called NCB and we have settled my account for a one time payment of $2500.

NCB was very helpful in the settlement. I thank NCB for settlement.

I would like thank the you and The Revdex.com for your time and work on this matter.

I would at this time like to stop my complaint on NCB.

Regards,

Review: I am writing you today to lodge a formal complaint against NCB MANAGMENT SERVICES. This debt collector placed marks on my credit reports without proper notification, as I received no dunning notification per required. Credit reporting is considered collection activity. I am requesting your office look into these allegations and help me procure a deletion from all three credit reporting agencies until this company can successfully validate my debt as they are mandated by law to do. I have also notified the FTC, and the CFPB about this matter. I am also not opposed to filing with the Attorney General, however, I felt compelled to urge your office to help me in my crusade to remove NCB MANAGMENT SERVICES and reestablish my name and credit.Desired Settlement: I request that NCB MANAGMENT SERVICES validate my account as required by law. If they are unwilling or unable to validate, then they must delete the accounts from my credit reports.

August 25, 2014Dear [redacted],Thank you for submitting your concerns. I have investigated the matter and would like to share the results with you. Please call me at ###-###-#### to discuss. This communication is from a debt collector, but it is not an attempt to collect a debt.Sincerely,Daniel V. Senior Compliance Officer

Review: I sent NCB a dispute notice in May 2014. The alleged debt they are attempting to collect is questionable at best. I received a letter from NCB dated Jun 13, 2014. In this letter NCB states: "We are currently conducting an investigation and will require more time to review documentation that has been requested from the original creditor." NCB's reply also states "The purpose of this letter is to collect a debt."

Coincidentally, I was notified by [redacted] on June 13, 2014 (the same day!) stating that NCB investigated the account in question and verified it belongs to me.

I also got a letter from [redacted] dated June 16, 2014 that states NCB completed an investigation on the same account and determined it belongs to me.

Apparently NCB was able to investigate this account for the credit bureaus while simultaneously needing more time to do the same thing for me.

By law, specifically the FDCPA, all collection activity is to cease until the request I sent for validation is completed. Furthermore I never received a dunning letter notifying me that NCB was collecting this account. I never heard of NCB until I was denied credit.Desired Settlement: I want all traces of this account and NCB completely removed from all three of my credit reports - [redacted], [redacted], [redacted].

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: NCB's response was not a response at all. It was a request to call them. I should not have to call Daniel V[redacted] to discuss this matter. I submitted my complaint in writing and I want NCB's actual response in writing.

Review: I have received several telephone calls from NCB at my place of employment. Although I work for a government agency, I have received numerous calls on my work phone, work cell phone and personl cell numbers.Desired Settlement: My request it that the company contact me personally for any personal debt owed. My personal contact number is ###-###-####. This is the ONLY contact number I have that is not business related. Any contact on any other phone number is unacceptable and a violationof Fair Debt Collection Practices and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

Review: NCB Management Services, Inc continues collection activity on an account they did not validate per my request (certified letter via US Mail and signed return receipt). NCB Management Services, Inc has not provided signed proof that I incurred this debt, an itemization of the debt (e.g. total principal, interest, fees, other charges), copy of the applicable contract giving rise to the debt, and a copy of the underlying account statement and other written validation and explanation of the debt. This is a clear violation of FDCPA. At this point I am entitled to statutory damages, as they continue to report this information and that is highly damaging to me. Proper validation consists of copies of some type of current creditor records, not records which only verify that the collector believes an account is valid. Under federal law, I could sue them and ask for $1,000.00 in damages. I have made every effort including reporting this matter to the Revdex.com and filed a complaint with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and New York State Attorney General's office. I am, however, respectfully requesting they stop collection efforts immediately, or I will have no choice but to exercise my rights in a courtroom before a jury.Desired Settlement: I would like NCB Management Services, Inc to cease collection immediately and send a copy of the cease collection letter to my mailing address.

Review: I've received phone calls from this company seeking out an individual whose address is listed as mine. They're phishing for information on my neighbor and phishing a complete stranger (me) for information on a person whom I know no personal information on. NOW I know that they have collection issues and after reading MANY, MANY complaints from other individuals with the same issue I see they deceptively seek information and bother people like me. The woman was crass and spoke down to me like I was lying, even threatened my home!

PLEASE STOP CALLING ME.
