Just got a policy with them, and it appears to be a pretty decent one, almost $200 cheaper a month compared to the one I had previously. It seemed kind of shady when they called me, but after talking for a while and doing a bit of research, they looked pretty legit. Signed up for a 24 month plan, but will update this review if anything changes.

My older mother came to visit me for Thanksgiving. When her truck started leaking power steering fluid she told me not to worry because her extended warranty should cover it. I called Liberty and they told me that the repairs to the power steering lines should be covered and to have the repair facility file a claim. About an hour later I received a call from the repair facility. The cost to replace both lines was about $700. There was $1100 in additional repairs that were considered "wear and tear" and would not be covered under warranty. After speaking with Liberty, the repair facility informed me that Liberty was refusing to pay the $700 because the vehicle was just past the 36,000-mile mark. Because the term was just expired they were not willing to cover a dime. My sister and I pleaded with Liberty and that the least they could do would be to cover a claim that was less than a quarter the cost to the customer. After numerous phone calls, we gave up.
The real sad part is when we found out that she paid approximately $2,900 for this warranty! My mother did not call this company for a quote on a warranty, they cold called her. Through their tactics, she thought that she was getting a good deal. I have yet to figure out a scenario where her benefits could have been greater than her out of pocket costs on the warranty.
I understand the "buyer beware" mentality but companies like this make cold calls until they find someone misinformed and trustworthy and who take the bait. The $1,800 in repairs I can live with. The $2,900 warranty sold through what I believe are predatory practices and pays nothing in return is an absolute shame. Had I known that she purchased this warranty beforehand I would have had her try to cancel on the spot. I am aware of very few repairs besides an engine overhaul that would cost this amount of money. The second my mother signed up this company experienced a windfall that they knew was a one sided sure fire win. I only hope that my family’s terrible experience can at least help someone else.

This place is called me over 30 times from all different numbers from all different cities. Every time I asked to speak to a supervisor I have my name taken off or on the do not call list they hang up on me. I believe this company is a scam when I asked to speak to a supervisor they hang up on me.

N.C.W.C. Response

We do not place any sales calls. I believe you may have the wrong business.

Negative trust issues, starting with multiple phone calls from a variety of numbers from several different states; multiple business titles to sift through to find the correct rating (others associated with this business have F ratings); the near impossible procedures to file a claim; the strong arm twisting to talk me out of cancelling.
Reading the policy left a bad taste.
