Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:After reading Oakwood Homes explanation of how the damage occurred, and how I contributed it, it still does not explain how the cracks developed before I ha d a chance to close on the house (I have photos of the crack(s) before siding was put on the house) and advance spreading of the cracks months before landscaping was installed and the "cerified" grade was changed I can completel y understand if the cracks were formed after I installed the landscaping and advanced while watering the sod, but that was not the case The pictures I took show the cracks before I moved in and also show how they quickly spread throughout the concrete before landscaping was put in I was initially told that it occurs due to the settling, and when it spread I was told that the "caulk" placed in between the cracks would remedy it Then when it became unbearably obvious that the concrete is braking apart, I was told that it was due to my landscaping Blame was shifted to me Also in Oakwoods reply, I read that I did not have my gutter spouts down, which sometimes I did forget to lay them back down but having them down sparingly would not and should not cause that much damage in a year and a half Sincerely, [redacted]

Thank you for your correspondence, After researching the concern it was noted that the homeowner closed on his house on 4/11/and no leak was present at closingHe submitted the warranty claim to Customer Care on 1/10/at 7:33pmA plumbing trade was sent to the home and it was determined that the sill ck was cracked on the exterior side of the house, this crack was caused by Freeze damage, a condition which is not covered under the Limited warranty and would be considered an act of nature and maintenance concernAfter speaking to the representative there is no record of an offer to install a vent, We did receive a quote for repair which we are happy to pass on to the Home owner as a resolutionAs requested by the Home owner in the Revdex.com concern, we have obtained a quote from the plumber for the cost of repair and are happy to provide that information to the Home ownerThey may contact [redacted] who can repair at billable to the Home Owner.Regards,

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: we had the field representative come out to look at the concernsHe is new to this area, I also heard he is not permanent replacementThere is a lot of other homes that are waiting on scheduling tooWe met with him on August and have not been contacted about our in home repairs sinceI understand that he needs to catch upThis complaint should not be closed until the work is completedI have had this exact issue with Oakwood well over times in the last months Sincerely, [redacted]
