On Sept20, this customer brought items in to sell to my store. She was given a form to fill out. On this form she signed that she would be back before we closed for business that day or her items would be forfeited. It was explained to her that we were very busy and that
it would be a long wait and if this wasn't going to work for her she should come back another dayShe chose to leave her items. We stayed open an extra half hour too process all the items people had brought in that day. This customer did not come back while we were open. Someone knocked at the door after we were closed but we would never open the door after hours as that is very unsafe. This customer called the store and spoke to a manager on Sept21st. She got very belligerent with the manager by swearing and telling the manager she wanted to talk to someone smarter then her. She was told she could contact me by email and she chose to contact the police instead. The police officer told her it would have been unsafe for us to answer the door after hours. The police officer also told the customer that she signed a form stating she should come back that same day before the business closed and she chose not to and that it was not a police matterWe cannot keep anyone's item over night for liability reasons. The form she signed is the same for everyone. It is unfortunate she didn't come back like she said she would but her items were taken home that night and donated the next day.
Sincerely,

Looking into our records, this customer has sold to us before, in June 2015. This customer brought in a large item, as well as a bag of clothes. As we do not assume that just because a customer has sold to us before, we communicate the process each time. We requested that
she stay in the store while we process the large item, and we would look at the clothes in a separate transaction. She indicated that she understood. This is typical in this situation, to avoid congestion behind the counter. We indicated to her that we would write her name on the white board when we were finished. It was explained by an experienced employee, reminding her of the process for large items. The employee initialled the form that the customer understood that she needed to stay in store. When we were investigating the Rock n Play Sleeper, we found that we could not purchase it. However, the customer had left the store. Therefore we donated the Rock n Play Sleeper to the charity that we work with the next morning before we opened. Again, this is a part of the process. We record all donations in a log at the time of donation. When the customer came in to retrieve her quote on the clothes (this took an extra day, as it is our busy season), she asked about the Rock n Play Sleeper, and the employee reminded her of the process, and explained that we donated it to the ***. We offered to give her the phone number so she may call and re-claim it, but she declined, indicating to the employees that she was okay with the process. Our customers sign a contract, which is verbally communicated as well, that they will return the same day that we contact them when a quote is ready. For large items, that contact is made by use of the white board. For all other items, it is typically by phone call. I am unsure where the hours statement comes from. I can only guess that due to communication between several parties on the customer's behalf, it was inferred.Although we regret the experience the customer encountered, in investigation, each step of the process was followed correctly. Unfortunately we cannot pay for an item we declined to purchase and had been donated, per our policy

These people are crooks I was threatened with a lawsuit for a bill that was settled more than five years ago I can not prove that the doctor's office agreed to reverse the charges, so I am stuck with this charge until I can get it figured out I really don't need the hassle of appearing in court and all the extra charges that go with that in the off chance that I might win Since it was less than $I agreed to pay it to avoid a court appearance They slapped on another $in "fees" and took my debit card number They charged my debit card TWICE, and offered to "look into it" if I would mail them my bank statement I have reported it as fraud to my bank

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2015/10/20) */
She passed on our offer and she helped put all of her items back into her containersWe didn't take her items

My son was seriously injured when a piece of heavy construction equipment ran over him as he was riding his bike to schoolWe had to hire an attorney to go after the construction company to recover medical costsDuring the litigation process, all medical companies put our accounts on hold pending litigation outcomeNo collections activity should have been taking place
At some point during the process, my wife and I both were notified that a collection had been added to both of our credit reports by Professional FinanceThey never attempted to contact usThey never sent us any notifications that they were attempting to collect a debtNothingThey just somehow found an account with a medical company, and decided to file a collection against us, which is an abuse of power, unethical, and potentially illegal
We believe that our attorney has used settlement fund to pay off all medical balances, and there is nothing for Professional Finance to collect

First off I would like to say that as part of a nationally based franchise with over stores we never like for a customer to feel unsatisfied with any transaction that occurs in any
of our locationsOur store managers are each trained to fully anticipate any questions a customer may have and to try to remedy any issues that may ariseDuring the buying process We always explain to the customer which items are being taken and we offer an amount for the itemsIt is a same day process and the customer can choose at that time to accept the offer we have given for those itemsThe Once upon a Child Brand and franchisee websites, along with all marketing materials, clearly state that we sell items for 30-50% of the retail value found in retail storesThe customer is given an average of 20-40% of what the resale value is, not the retail valueOnce I investigated this issue I found that this customer had sold some items which included a shopping bag and accepted the offer we extended to herShe later called expressing her concerns over the amount she was given for her "designer bag" which we believe to be the shopping style bagShe was told she could absolutely come back to retrieve her bag and bring back the amount she was offeredShe has not come back to retrieve her back as of December 17, nor has called to discuss the matter with a manager or ownerWe would love the opportunity to discuss the matter with her further and to be able to explain our buying process to her furtherAs a children's based store we do not advertise or regularly practice the selling of "designer bags'We always try to purchase the most amount of items from every customer and base the amount given on the resale value of the itemThis bag was considered an "accessory" item and was priced according to our nationally based franchise pricing systemThe customers are given an opportunity to look through the items we have selected and decide to accept the offer we extend to them for every transactionThe items not selected are then given back to the customer
We have a franchise policy of tagging all items brought in by each customer and signing them in on a listEvery item is individually priced in our systemIt is our policy to investigate any items claimed not to have been accounted for by our store managers if brought to their attentionHowever, in this case we were never made aware of the second issue the customer has brought about in her statement
As a franchise that has operated over years we recognize customer satisfaction is our number one priorityWe are not satisfied until every customer isWe would love the opportunity for the customer to return and retrieve her item and to discuss any other concerns she may have
Thank you

12/15/- receive notice of collections, dated 12/13/16, concerning alleged debt from 5/29/14,and threat of legal action should I not exercise my right to dispute the notice

12/16/- contacted PFC by phone, spoke with Chantel, advised documents mailed and I would contact them soon to verify receipt of the documents
12/21/- contacted PFC by phone, spoke with Elizabeth, requested verification documents received, she simply stated they contacted original creditor and I still owed the amount in question She would not verify my documents have been received I advised I would like confirmation of dates that I have contacted PFC concerning this claim at which time she advised she was unable to verify that information I asked to speak to supervisor, at that time was transferred to voicemail of person

When I first got my notice in the mail I immediately called them to show me proof of the debt I owedI was told they couldn’t and wouldn’t send me anything by mailI asked for a written statement and again they said they couldn’t do thatI have been making payments to them for the last yearI missed a couple of payments because life gets busy sometimes and without receiving a monthly statement it can be easily forgottenI called today to try and make a payment of $30, the representative that I spoke to would not accept my paymentHe said I would have to pay $today or they would move further with their collectionsI asked what The collection procedure was and he told me he was not going to speculate on my account of what the steps would beHe was extremely rude and very unprofessionalI pushed further on wanting to know what the procedure was and he told me to go to askdrdebt.com
I then asked him if it was their specific policies and debt collection processHe then told me no it is a general guideline to help you understandAre you kidding me? You want me to hand over money to a company I know nothing about and can’t tell me anything about my account?!? I worked in the collection business I know for a fact you cannot refuse payment from someone, if I offered to pay $they would have to take itI find this company disrespectful, distasteful, rude, uneducated and quite frankly a bunch of bullies

This company is suing for a $and $medical billingBoth bills have previously been paidWe have banking and accounting records showing these specific bills were paid and despite notifying Orofessional Finance Company they cntunue he lawsuitMy wife further uncovered that this same company is attempting to sue her for approximately $regarding her medical billsWhat my wife discovered is Carson Tahoe Hospital which located where we live in northern Nevada has been utilizing a billing service in Greerley, Colorado Our monthly payments despite through electronic banking listing the specific accounts to be paid were unethically misapplied This was done willfully and knowingly creating an appearance of non paymentThis billing company forwarded these accounts to a collection company which is also in Greeley, Colorado and none our payments were credited to these accountsThe Carson Tahoe Hospital Business Office in Carson City is aware of the unethical misapplication of our payments and they agree the accounts for which I'm being sued are actually paid in fullBut Professional Finance Company continues attempting to sue and attempting to serve my wife while having in their position some evidence of payments made Personal Finance Company on Monday told my wife they would try to stop the process serverEach day she's called back this company they say they haven't heard any response to their emails sent to the process server It is now Friday Also, when talking to Federal Goverment they informed me of certain laws the Professional Finance Company-collection company is required to follow I can tell you PFO has ignored these laws

We have gone here times I the past month and had horrible customer experience We went to trade clothes in so we could buy more clothes with them and both times they were very rude We brought in gallon bags of clothes and both times gave us bucks and said that was all they could give usSo we asked where all the clothes were that they were not wantingThey had to go find the bags and none of the bags were even openedthe only reason I now this is because we folded the clothes and they were in the bag the exact way we put them in thereThe worst thing about the whole thing was they were going to keep the clothes if we did not say anythingThe first time we came in we let them keep them because they said they donated themBut about week later we came in there and to my shock there are my kids clothes on the shelfWe write our children's name on the tag and this is how I knowSo no I wont ever let them keep what they don't buy againThis is a store that is suppose to help people that struggle with getting there kids clothes and they are scammingI use to spend several hundred dollars a yearThey have now lost my business

This company had me set up a collection agreement with them for $per month about 6-months ago as they contacted me regarding a medical bill from 5-years ago that I could not locate my carbon copy for proof of payment (I had changed banks within that time frame) They contacted me to take me to court, they had me sign their agreement that a monthly payment would be deducted, This last Friday after work I went to get groceries and I was told that my account ( debit ) was declined 3X since it was after hours I could not go to my bank
When I went out to my car I went online to my account and seen two unknown debits attempting to draw from my bank account immediately thinking I had some fraud taking place on my account!
The next morning I went to my bank as soon as it opened and the representative stated the PFC were whom the debits were from
I asked her to bring up all their debits as I usually only debit my check book since I have a payment agreement with them, she stat

Won't answer phonesAll I was trying to do was pay a bill in fullAdd on ridiculous fees

I contacted this agency and gave them my bank account information so they could automatically deduct payments from my account They failed to process the first payment I contacted them again and was told there was no bank account info on their file I again gave them my bank account information Again they failed to process any payment with that information Rather than contact me regarding their ineptitude they have chosen to report this matter to the credit bureau This issue was caused by the agency's incompetence and unprofessionalism

I was first notified of this debt by being served papers, immediately I called them and offered to pay it in full on october 5th, they said by then it would be when originally, according to the papers served it was only I worked overtime for one week to pay them on the 21st and it was already upped due to them filing court papersThey claimed to send out multiple notices in which I have never received, mind you I never received a notice from the original creditor eitherI tried explaining this to them and the debt collectors response was "it's on your credit report" that's their reasoning for not giving me an opportunity to pay before going to courtThe 21st came and I paid the but could not pay the fees, a family member offered to help but their payment did not go through, they are still taking me to court for the feesI'm sick and frustrated so I became upset and told the debt collector to take what I have left for the remainder in feesHer response to me being upset was that "everyone is obligated to pay their medical bills"Making it sound as if I was trying to get of paying my bills! I was under the assumption the insurance paid it since I was not getting any noticesBut clearly that doesnt matter! She now has claimed that both payments were cancelled out, however according to my bank statement they have taken the from me but according to her I owe the full and thats what would need to be paidI tried to tell her that the payment was taken out and she refused to listen and ended up hanging up on me! This entire situation has been horrible all I wanted was to pay the amount owed and move on and instead I am subjected to being belittled and then hung up onCollection agency main job is to take your money and keep their ignorant comments to themselves! Guess now I will have to go to court and pay the since they refuse and claim I owe the

I received a Summons to Answer for a medical billThere were three accounts on the summons
I call Professional Finance Company, Incby which I told them I would be happy to pay off the two smaller accounts and make payment arrangements for the third
Keep in mind, I have not received ANY bills for any of these services, but figured I do owe the bills because of services I did have at the facilityI did move so am figuring that is why I did not receive the bills
Anyway, while trying to make payment arrangements for the larger account, which I am not disputing I owe, I simply do not have 3K on hand, the representative started asking very personal questions such as, what year were you married, and where does your husband workThey also asked personal questions about me, which I am happy to answer as this is MY debt, but I will not answer questions regarging my husband
I do not believe their line of questioning is relevent, necessary or even legal in order for me to pay my bi
