Online City Tickets Reviews (2190)

Thank you for reaching out to usAt Online City Tickets, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concernsIt should be noted that Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellersDirectly on our website it states, “We are a resale marketplace, not a box office or venueTicket prices may exceed face valueThis site is not owned by any venue or box office.”Once our customer selected the event they were interested in, TobyMac, they navigated to the ticket listing pageThe top of this page clearly notifies customers, “We are a resale marketplacePrices may exceed face valueThis site is not owned by any venue.” This message is also displayed on the top of every page throughout the checkout processAfter customers select the ticket listing they desire, they are directed to the checkout pageHere, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and price per ticketOur customer was prompted to provide an email address and select a delivery methodAfter a delivery method was selected, since methods vary in price, a new order total was calculatedA complete itemized breakdown of our customer’s order including the price per ticket, all fees, and the total price of $was displayed in bold text on the left-hand side of the pageThis information was fully disclosed before our customers are asked to enter any payment informationBelow this order summary, our customers are notified in the Ticket Information portion of our site that, “We are a resale marketplaceWe are not a box office or venueThis site is not owned by any venuePrice: Ticket prices may exceed face value.” Customers are then presented with our terms and conditions, including a bold message which clarifies, “All sales are finalAll prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms and the statement, “I agree to the sales terms and conditions listed aboveI understand that I am not purchasing directly from the venue box office and that tickets may be above face value.” For every order placed on our site the customer’s order total is reiterated below this in large, bold textCustomers are then prompted to select the "Review Order" button below these termsOnce selected, customers are taken to a review page which displayed their payment information, order summary and provided an additional itemized cost breakdown of their orderOur customer then proceeded to select "Confirm & Place Order", at which time their order was processed.Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Online City Tickets is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellersAll prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Online City Tickets, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demandSince our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both partiesThis means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concernsWe maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closedIf our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.Regards,Online City Tickets

I bought the tickets online, downloaded to my computer, and printed them out with no problems

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding Mr [redacted] concerns.? ? Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets?"instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers.? As Mr [redacted] stated, we have previously addressed a prior complaint regarding his order.? Mr [redacted] has claimed that our customer service manager suggested he resell the remaining tickets at the door of the venue; this should be noted as inaccurateWe investigated this claim previously and as we have stated, the customer service agent suggested reaching out to family or friends who may also be interested in attending the event with him and suggested listing the tickets on another resale marketplaceOnline City Tickets maintains that our agent never suggested Mr [redacted] resale outside of the venue.? All tickets listed on our site are owned and priced by individual sellers, not Online City Tickets, based on those sellers' evaluations of changing factors such as customer demandThis means that the largest portion of any order placed in our marketplace goes directly to the seller; the service fee represents the charges that Online City Tickets uses to maintain the operating costs including our website, ensuring that customers receive their ticket in time for events, and maintaining a customer service department to assist customers.? Mr [redacted] received the valid and authentic ticket he selected at checkout and the event has since passedAlthough Mr [redacted] continues to press forward with this matter, we have fully addressed his concerns in two previous responses and have attempted to resolve this matter to the best of our ability though our offer was declined by Mr [redacted] As such, we consider this matter closed.? Regards,? Online City Tickets

[redacted] concernsIt should be noted that Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means we do? not own or generate tickets?"instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellersDirectly at the top of every ticket listing page on our website it states, "We are a resale marketplace.? Prices may exceed face value.? This site is not owned by any venue."When? Ms.? Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process and displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are finalAll prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).”With regard to Ms [redacted] 's statement that she thought she was purchasing through the venue's website, it must be noted that the address and appearance of our website are distinctly dissimilar from those of the venue's website.? Thank you for bringing this matter to our attentionWe take the customer experience seriously and would like to take the time to address Mr [redacted] 's concerns Online City Tickets facilitates thousands of orders every week with satisfied customers fully aware of their event's venue and date, so we are confident in the fairness and transparency of our checkout processMr [redacted] placed an order for four tickets to the [redacted] show on July 8, in Huntsville, AlabamaOur system is not capable of changing an orderWhen Mr [redacted] selected tickets and was taken to our checkout page, he was directed to review his itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed the date and location of the eventThen, Mr [redacted] was directed to review our terms and conditions--visible in a text box below this order total--and presented with the bolded message "All sales are final." At this point, he was also presented with the message "I agree to the sales terms and conditionsI have reviewed the Order Summary above," and a check box that he needed to click to continue with checkoutBelow this check-box, another message was displayed that, in Mr [redacted] 's case, read: "By clicking 'Place Order', your credit card will be charged $631.50, which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees." This notice was followed by a button labeled "Place Order." When Mr [redacted] clicked this button, he signified his acknowledgement of the total price and these terms, and completed his order All sellers on our site are notified as soon as an order for their tickets is placed, which means we are unable to cancel orders or offer refundsWhile we regret Mr [redacted] 's frustration, Mr [redacted] received the tickets he selectedOur sales policies, including our "all sales are final" policy, were disclosed throughout the purchase process--from a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message "All sales are finalAll prices are listed in US Dollars (USD)." If Mr [redacted] has any further questions or concerns, we welcome him to contact us

It was so easy to find, purchase, and have tickets delivered right to my doorThough some people complain of hidden fees, if you make sure to double-check the order before you submit it (as one should always do), it is clearly stated as soon as you choose what kind of shipping you would preferThe online support team was very friendly and timely in answering all of my questions, usually within two hours after I sent the question in

sans-serif, "Helvetica Neu Thank you for reaching out to usAt Online City Tickets, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address Ms [redacted] concernsIt should be noted that Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers In regard to Ms [redacted] concerns with the price printed on her tickets, or face value, it should be noted that since we operate as a secondary marketplace thatserves as an intermediary between sellers and customers all ticket prices are set by the sellers, not Online City TicketsThe price is set by individual sellers based on their individual assessments of various factors including customer demand and a common occurrence throughout the industryThis fact is explained clearly throughout the purchase process, from a notice on every ticket listing and checkout page stating, "We are an independent resale marketplaceTicket prices may exceed face value." Since customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both partiesThis means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industryAdditionally, this policy was agreed to by Ms [redacted] prior to placing her order This is the first we have heard about Ms [redacted] concerns regarding her order as she has not contacted usMs [redacted] received her valid and authentic tickets on 12/05/prior to her event on 12/17/We encourage Ms [redacted] to contact us in relation to any other concerns she may haveAt this time, we consider this matter closed Regards, Online City Tickets

I think online ticket purchases should mention if the cost of the tickets will be in US funds This makes quite a difference in the final ticket cost when a Canadian is purchasing tickets The cost in US funds isn't revealed until the purchase shows on the credit card statement

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Sincerely, Gail [redacted] I still feel tricked into thinking that this was where one goes to buy tickets to Disney on Ice for the Redsch Center in Green Bay Wi.? When I googled "Disney on Ice Green Bay Wi" this is where I was brought to on the internet.? Because the tickets were being sold here I thought this was where I was suppose to go and that this was a company that contracted with the Redsch Center to sell their tickets for them.? I really didn't understand what I was getting myself into.? I thought the price of $per ticket was expensive but the price of everything has gone up and it has been many years since I went to one of these performances.? I did not see a breakdown of the actual fees and taxes until after I clicked on "Confirm"? and once I realized that theses tickets were now costing me over $for two tickets I did all I could to try to cancel this transaction.? I contacted Luke, Chris Band Jasmine Rat customer support for this company and they all refused to give me a refund even though I requested one promptly.? Since I did not understand what this company actually was or how much they were charging until the transaction was completed, I feel I am entitled to a full refund prior to the event.? They had two weeks to refund me.? They did not even mail me the tickets.? Instead they emailed me two informational pages that are suppose to be presented in lieu of the tickets.? I don't even know if they will be accepted at the event in place of the tickets.? This has gone all wrong!? I am very reluctant to buy anything off the internet again.? I feel I was deceived and they know it.? Gail

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Online City Tickets has shown that it did not do any illegal when selling concert tickets and that my own naiveté allowed me to be sucked into buying tickets through a reseller rather than from the source While I may have to “live with” the decision, I do not accept it There is a difference between being not illegal and being right First of all, the announcement of the ticket sale appeared to come from the venue, but when the actual announcement from the venue came, it stressed that the venue could not guarantee the validity of the tickets bought from a reseller I called the venue and was told that until I presented the tickets on the day of the concert, I would not know if they were valid The result, I purchased four more tickets Secondly, at no point was I a provided a breakdown that the face value of the tickets I purchased from Online City Tickets was $apiece The breakdown I saw was a ticket price of $77.00, a service charge of $and a mailing charge of $ It was not until I saw the face value of the tickets and talked to the venue that I realized the extent of the price gouging When I purchased the additional four tickets, the tickets were from a similar section (“way out there” according to the venue) sold at face value, there was no service charge and the mailing fee was $ I realize that Online City Tickets says it guarantees the tickets, but I really won’t know until I show up for the concert if they are even valid Again, Online City Tickets may not have done anything illegal, but what they do is price gouging and just plain wrong What should have cost me $is costing me $574.00! Sincerely, [redacted]
