Online City Tickets Reviews (2190)

At first I didn't get my email, but within 24 hrs after I asked about it they sent it again with no hassle. Thank you for such great service.

Thank you for getting back to us regarding this issue. While [redacted]s continues to press forward with this issue, we are not, due to the nature of our business, able to offer refunds once a sale has been completed. Because the seller received notice that their tickets were sold the moment the order was placed, we are unable to honor this request and must enforce an “all sales are final” policy. We must also note that the greatest portion of the order was paid to the seller: as such, asking the seller for a refund would be unfair and in violation of the Sales Terms and Conditions that [redacted]s agreed to before checkout.  If [redacted]s has any additional concerns they would like to discuss, they are welcome to reach out to our customer service department. As it stands, we consider this matter closed

Great! Tickets instantly issued! Will definitely do business with again! Great seats! Very happy with purchase. Highly recommend!

This site is great I received my tickets just a day after I ordered them.

Thank you for reaching out to us, as we here at Online City Tickets always appreciate the opportunity to address a customer’s concerns. Online City Tickets operates on the secondary market and maintains one of the largest seller networks in the industry. Our mission is to connect...

customers with individual ticket holders and amazing live events. Since so many sellers list tickets on our site, and because the prices of these tickets often change, pricing errors do occur in very rare cases. It appears that Ms. [redacted] experienced such an error with their order; Online City Tickets does not own the tickets in question--meaning that this unfortunate occurrence is beyond our control. As mentioned above, our status as an intermediary marketplace means that we do not own tickets and that sellers alone make the decision to withdraw tickets if they discover they have made an error in pricing or describing a listing. These facts are clearly explained in our Sales Terms and Conditions: “ When an error is found in processing your order you will be notified of the error and provided with available options, if any, as well as the option of cancelling your order.” As there were no comparable replacement or upgrades available, cancellation was the only option. To clarify, although Online City Tickets is a secondary marketplace, this means we are not directly affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office; rather, we act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holders. The prices of tickets on our site are set by the individual ticket sellers, not Online City Tickets, in accordance with their assessments of market factors such as customer demand. This means that ticket prices can fluctuate at any time, and sellers are notified as soon as an order is placed—a practice disclosed throughout our website and the order process. Furthermore, because customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure our policies are fair to both parties. We have been in constant contact with Ms. [redacted] regarding this issue, but have been unable to reach an amicable resolution. While our management team is available to handle any additional concerns that Ms. [redacted] may have.Regards,Vivid Seats

Complaint: [redacted]While the business and I came to a resolution (a partial refund of $200), their response to this complaint is false and I saw our resolution as attempting to correct a wrong, rather than mere customer satisfaction.First, they do misrepresent themselves as affiliated with the venue.  The websites "td.gardenboxoffice.com" and "gardenboxoffice.com" return when you search the internet for TD Garden tickets.  These sites are actually Online City Tickets.  The banner at the top of the screen says "Boston Tickets," and the URL remains gardenboxoffice.com.  The process of selecting tickets and seeing prices occurs on this website.  When you click to purchase the tickets, it then reroutes to the Online City Tickets website. However, for customers searching for tickets, the website URL holds itself out as affiliated with the Garden via the URL text (td.garden and garden are contained in the URL; these are the name of the venue).  As an aside, this likely contrary to Trademark laws depending upon whether the Garden has registered trademarks, and they should be notified that this company is using that website.  As a consumer, it's false advertising.  Additionally, consumers won't necessarily notice when a URL changes if the look and feel of the webpage remains the same.As to the claim that there was a screen breaking down the price, I saw no such screen.  The tickets were referred to throughout the process by the location of the seats and 2 -- $296.  I was not until after the payment had been entered that it was shown they were $296 each.  Meaning, any sort of breakdown of costs was not presented until after it was too late to cancel or select different seats. While I accepted the offered resolution, it was not with the understanding that the business was denying fault.Sincerely,[redacted]

A lot of their buttons do not work correctly on the website. Also, their service fee for "instant download" is outrageous and it isn't exactly instant. You have to wait for an email once your purchase is complete then click a link to the download page.

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Online City Tickets, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely...

facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly on our website it states, “We are a resale marketplace, not a box office or venue. Ticket prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue or box office.”Once our customer selected the event they were interested in, Disney on Ice: Dream Big, they navigated to the ticket listing page. The top of this page clearly notifies customers, “We are a resale marketplace. Prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue.” This message is also displayed on the top of every page throughout the checkout process. After customers select the ticket listing they desire, they are directed to the checkout page. Here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and price per ticket. Our customer was prompted to provide an email address and select a delivery method. After a delivery method was selected, since methods vary in price, a new order total was calculated. A complete itemized breakdown of our customer’s order including the price per ticket, all fees, and the total price of $98.31 was displayed in bold text on the left-hand side of the page. This information was fully disclosed before our customers are asked to enter any payment information. Below this order summary, our customers are notified in the Ticket Information portion of our site that, “We are a resale marketplace. We are not a box office or venue. This site is not owned by any venue. Price: Ticket prices may exceed face value.” Customers are then presented with our terms and conditions, including a bold message which clarifies, “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms and the statement, “I agree to the sales terms and conditions listed above. I understand that I am not purchasing directly from the venue box office and that tickets may be above face value.” For every order placed on our site the customer’s order total is reiterated below this in large, bold text. Customers are then prompted to select the "Review Order" button below these terms. Once selected, customers are taken to a review page which displayed their payment information, order summary and provided an additional itemized cost breakdown of their order. Our customer then proceeded to select "Confirm & Place Order", at which time their order was processed. In regards to the customers concerns of our website, we promptly display the information that we are a resale marketplace and do not have any affiliation with the venue.Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Online City Tickets is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Online City Tickets, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.Regards, Online City Tickets

Thank you for getting back to us regarding this matter. Although Ms. [redacted] continues to press forward with this matter, we are not able to offer refunds once a sale has been completed and must enforce the “all sales are final” policy which was explained clearly and agreed to by Ms. [redacted] prior to purchase.

As we previously mentioned, our 100% Money Back Guarantee, which was relayed to Ms. [redacted] prior to placing the order, assures customers will receive their valid and authentic tickets prior to their event. As we have no affiliation with any venue, we cannot guarantee customers will have the ability to change details displayed on their ticket. However, we do assure customers that the tickets are transferable as an alternative name on tickets is a common occurrence in the secondary marketplace. Our guarantee also does not provide customers the opportunity to cancel orders as tickets on our site owned and listed by individual resellers, and we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. This policy was also discussed, and agreed upon, by Ms. [redacted] prior to placing the order.

Ms. [redacted] received her valid and authentic tickets prior to her event, and the event has since passed; as such, we consider this matter closed. If Ms. [redacted] has any additional concerns she would like to discuss, she is welcome to reach out to our customer service department.

individual ticket holders and amazing live events. To this end, we’re committed to providing the best possible customer service—and maintaining a simple, transparent checkout process. It should be noted that prior to this complaint we previously spoke with Ms. [redacted] about her order in which she indicatedshe wanted to cancel due to purchasing the incorrect date for the event. We were unable to cancel due to our All Sales are Final policy, which we will detail below. Online City Tickets facilitates thousands of successful transactions each day with satisfied customers who are aware of their event date and location, so we are confident in the transparency of our checkout process. Ms. [redacted] selected tickets that were designated as Lawn or General Admission. Lawn or General Admission tickets are commonly used and known as a standing room area with a venue. In regards to the reason there are numbered rows and assigned seats on the ticket, this information is used by the primary ticket distributor for inventory purposes. As a secondary marketplace, Online City Tickets is not directly affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office; rather, we act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holders. This means that ticket prices can fluctuate at any time, and sellers are notified as soon as an order is placed. This practice is disclosed and made transparent throughout our website and the order process. Because customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must enforce an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process —from a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory.
The problem was resolved via a full refund.  I do not, however, believe resolution would have been reached with Revdex.com assistance.  So much appreciated!

Deceptive advertising practices to the max. Promise premium tickets, don't deliver, and make ticketmaster prices look like a charitable organization.
SCAM. DO NOT BUY.

facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers.Although our customer has indicated that their tickets were not delivered, this should be noted as inaccurate. Our customer placed their order on 3/25/2017 at 5:30 PM CST and their valid tickets were delivered to the email address on file at 5:35 PM CST. We later received a dispute from our customer’s financial institution regarding this transaction. We addressed this, and the dispute was ultimately ruled in our favor. After this dispute was closed we received an email from our customer regarding the delivery of their tickets. At this time, a representative responded to this email clarifying that the tickets were previously delivered, but as a courtesy were re-sent on 8/28/2017 at 7:17 AM CST which our customer has since downloaded. As our customer’s valid tickets were delivered on two occasions prior to their event taking place on 9/14/2017, we consider this matter resolved. If our customer has additional questions, we welcome them to contact us referencing their order number for further assistance.Regards,Online City Tickets

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/08/27) */
Online City Tickets is not directly affiliated with any artist or venue; rather, we act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holders. While we do not own or generate tickets, we process thousands of successful orders each day. Since we...

function on a live market, and do not own the tickets sold, ticket options are constantly changing and on rare occasions, orders are affected and we do our best to provide an equivalent alternative in those instances.
Ms. [redacted] contacted us for an update regarding her tickets shortly after the order was placed. At one point, connection was lost and the call was abandoned. Ms. [redacted] called back right away and spoke with one of our senior customer service agents. At this time, we explain that her tickets were no longer available. Ms. [redacted] was assured that if she still wishes to attend the event, we could secure replacement tickets for her at no extra cost. We offered the best replacement option available being as the event was for the same day and ticket options were limited. The offer was accepted and tickets were provided for the event. Our management team reached an amicable resolution with Ms. [redacted] and we encourage her to contact us with any further questions or concerns regarding her order.

Thank you for your reply. Though Mr. [redacted] continues to press forward with this matter, Online City Tickets maintains that our customer was properly notified of all order details. Mr. [redacted] confirmed his order on 6/22/2017. At this time, our customer received an order confirmation via email, as well as a notification that reiterated his tickets' Estimated Ship Date of 12/1/2017. At no point was our customer informed that his tickets were unavailable. As it presently stands, we consider this matter closed. Regards,Online City Tickets

Thank you for your reply. Although our customer has indicated that we have not discussed this matter with them previously, this is inaccurate. Prior to receiving this claim we received an email on 8/18/2017 at 8:16 AM CST. We provided clarification regarding their concerns shortly thereafter at 9:47 AM CST. If our customer would like to speak with a customer service manager, should they call in referencing their order number, they will be directed to a customer service manager. As we have sufficiently addressed our customer's concerns, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Online City Tickets
