Our goal is always to provide the safety, security and peace of mind that OnStar offers. OnStar provides monthly continuous coverage as part of our agreement with our subscribers. If you have placed a credit or debit ca** on file with us and enrolled in continuous coverage, we would have automatically charged it each month if you have not otherwise pre-paid for your subscription. This coverage is in place to ensure you do not experience an interruption in your OnStar service, particularly our emergency services, until OnStar is contacted by the account owner to pursue other billing options or to cancel the subscription. Our reco**s show that on 2/16/15, OnStar mailed a continuous coverage notification to you at [redacted], [redacted], LA 70711. This notification, which was sent in advance of any charges, advised that the OnStar subscription was approaching expiration and that the credit on file would be charged to continue the service on a monthly bases. The first reco** we have of anyone calling to request cancellation of the service was in August 2015.
OnStar does not normally refund subscription charges. However, as we discussed during our conversation yeste**ay, as a gesture of goodwill we have submitted a refund for 5 months of service. A refund in the amount of $161.35 has gone back to the credit ca** that was on file. The credit ca** has also been deleted from the account.
 
We have also added 3 complimentary months of Guidance subscription time on your 2013 Buick Verano (VIN ending [redacted]) and restored your Hands-Free Calling minutes, at no charge.  Your new subscription expiration date is 11/30/15. As we discussed, please press the OnStar button in your vehicle two times to reactivate the service.Please accept our apologies if the service has not met your expectations. OnStar Executive Relations reached out to Ms. [redacted] and confirmed that the information on her account is still correct since the last time we spoke. The discrepancy is with the subscription expiration date that is currently showing on our website for Ms. [redacted]’s 2015 Chevrolet Cruze. We explained to Ms. [redacted] that the way our website works, only the expiration date of the currently active subscription package will be reflected at any given time. The 6 months of complimentary Guidance subscription time that we added to Ms. [redacted]’s vehicle does not begin until 1/30/16 (and will expire on 7/29/16). Currently, the website only shows the expiration date of the currently active package on the account, which is the introductory Directions and Connections subscription, which expires on 1/29/16.
 
We sent Ms. [redacted] an e-mail confirming the true expiration date of her subscription, which is 7/29/16.
