Our customer service manager spoke to this student on 11/9/and resolved her complaint amicablyUltimately, we believe this complaint resulted from a simple miscommunication, for which we have apologizedWe have resolved the issue and confirmed that the customer is satisfied with the outcome

*** *** met with our Customer Service Manager Bridget C*** on 1/7/2015, and they discussed the withdraw terms under the contract*** *** told our MsC*** that she wanted some time to think about her options and that she will contact us next week with her decisionAgain, we regret any feelings of frustration that *** *** has towards ATP, and we hope to resolve this matter with her as soon as possible

We certainly regret any frustration that this student is feeling and hope to address all of her questions and concernsOur files show that the student did inquire about changing programs on 9/28/and that we attempted to reach her by phone and email to help her with this change on 9/30/
Her student record was not updated for the program change since she did not officially change programs yet, but all that is needed is a simple form and new payment arrangementsWe did make several more contact attempts by phone and email regarding this and other open issues in her file, and she ultimately requested again to withdrawWe apologize if there was any miscommunication regarding our followup for new payment arrangements and program choicesSince we had already confirmed that the student did not intend to start for a few months due to her injury, and we had already approved the delayed start, we did not know that the student was so eager to make these new arrangements just yet and we could have followed up more quicklyWe have since attempted to reach this student and have sent an appointment link in order to finalize her withdrawal or address any remaining questions that she has

I am rejecting this response because: Achieve did not offer a variety scheduling times of classes. Only one class was available and it would no start til month later. That statement by achieve is not all entirely trueRegarding flexibility to schedule classesWe want students to have the flexibility to schedule their classes around their current work/life commitments. Achieve Test Prep has multiple class offerings at various times located online to make choosing a class easy and convenient to a student's schedule. This student is eligible for classes necessary to obtain her BSN; however, we recommend she pursue the prerequisites first before embarking on additional courses
The classed Achieve recommend only one was available the other classes two no available til next year and one not available at all. When I made this known to staff This would not benefit me am not getting any service. I receive an unpolite email from Achieve staff and an unpleasant remark by staff over the phone . In the process of not wanting to go through with the process with Achieve. I was informed by different dept of Achieve I could not take any classes from them til I take out side classes that Achieve do not offer. I ask why this information was not told to me prior? One dept stated they did not have my transcript. But I had sent my transcript to the staff member prior who assured me I could start classes and an agreement was set in place. I still had not seen a class schedule at this point. Later I was in informed by the same staff member I could not take the recommended classes from achieve til the classes Achieve don't offer are completed. I have been requesting a refund for service no render. Different Achieve staff have offer other alternatives then the original plan that was discussed with me. I not want their alternative plan or oppositions at this point. I want my money refunded so I can move forward. They departed from the original agreement what they can offer. Now that am not in agreement they want to hold on to an agreement that was made under misleading information. Achieve knew I would not be able to take their classes at the present but instead strategize and agreement. If the information was made known to me up front about the out side classes needed and agreement would not have been made on my part. There would not have been a need. This process feels like an entrapment. I feel information was with held to encourage and agreement that would not have been if all information was given up front. Communication with staff is difficult. Appointment have to be made to speak with someone which are always booked for days out.

We hire only high quality instructors and care deeply about the quality of classes as it directly ties to student success and maintaining our 94% pass rateWe are surprised to learn of the complaint as this instructor has very high marks on the surveys submitted by her studentsWe are looking
into this issue so we can provide the appropriate feedback to the instructor if necessary. We have invited this student to retake the class with a different instructor who may better meet her educational needs for no additional charge. The student complained that a payment was not attempted and that a large charge was made without her permissionWe would not draft an unauthorized payment, and if an error was made, we would immediately correct the error by issuing a refundAs noted in the enrollment agreement, the first monthly payment is due days after the deposit is completedAs explained to this customer and as the attached documents support, the first monthly payment was attempted and was declined for insufficient fundsWhen the payment was not received, a letter was sent to the customer explaining that both the November and December payments would be charged on 12/5/2016. We regret any frustration this student is feeling; however, the file shows that no errors were made in the payment processingWhen the student requested to withdraw, we reached out to her within business days to address her requestShe scheduled an appointment and did not answer when we called for her appointmentThe customer service manager attempted to call this student within business days of her filing this complaint and spoke with her on 12/9/to address her concerns and help finalize the withdraw processAt this time, we are attempting to resolve the withdraw request according to the contractual termsWe hope that the student will reconsider and that we can help her achieve her goal of becoming an RN

We regret the frustration that this student has experiencedWe believe that this student has confused enrollment with registration for a class, and we are sorry this has caused her inconvenienceWe try to make the registration process easy for all students, and we do cover these topics in the
student handbook which the student received and in New Student Orientation which the student attendedThe student stated she has since completed all her remaining credits and is no longer eligible to use credit by examination towards her degreeOur customer service manager has spoken to the customer and they are in the process of resolving her request to withdraw

Achieve Test Prep gives students the flexibility they need to pursue a degree while balancing their busy lives, and we back up our programs with a withdrawal policy just in case it’s not working out. In the event a student encounters an unexpected concern, we work diligently to resolve the
matter. However, in this customer’s case, she did decide to withdraw as her plans had changed. We admit that our contact attempts with this student during the cancellation process could have been better, and an email communication included a typo that caused confusion regarding the balance due We regret any inconvenience this caused We have been flexible with the contract terms in order to try to reach an agreement with the customer, and we hope to reach an amicable resolution

I am rejecting this response because:No so called great options were offered to me.I was told to either retake classes I have already passed with them or pay and retake the ones I need at a community college.Even if I did submit transcripts after I enrolled that was over a year ago.At what point does someone say let's make sure our students are on track.No you don't promise that you will get someone into the college of choice you offer classes to help them speed up the process but speeding up the process does not mean overlooking pertinent information before you tell students which classes they will needWhat your basically saying is I came in with a GPA and no chance of bringing it up to a then you will still take my money and give me classes not even knowing if I would succeed or notYour own rep stated that she does not know why GPA is not checked on enrollment and that is a food idea to bring up to avoid situations such as this one.As a test prep your academic advisors are aupposed to advise me on what classes I would need and what it would take to get into the program of choice.How do you do that if you don't know a students starting point.Also even if I turned in my transcripts after enrollment how would you even know what classes to enroll me in.It basically seems as if you are just giving out any classes to charge people.I have emailed the Vice President twice regarding this issues and got no response,I missed the call from the customer service manager but I have also emailed her and called her back no response.So yes I would really like to know what these other choices are that I have because then that would indicate that the rep I spoke to was misinformed because she only gave choices

We are very sorry to hear that this student has not passed his exam for 'Transition to the Professional Nurse Role'We understand failing an exam is a frustrating experience for any studentOur students enjoy a 93% pass rate when they follow our simple and proven recipe for successUnfortunately,
this student only attended 42% of the class sessions, so it is not surprising he was not successful. We have offered for this student to re-take the course free of charge and to work with the Achieve education coaches to help ensure his successAs with all of our students, if they don’t give up on themselves, neither will we.This is the first exam this student has attempted while a student at Achieve Test PrepWe are unaware of any *** policy to place a student on academic probation for failing just one exam, so we expect this student had failed exams prior to joining Achieve Test Prep or he is misinterpreting ***'s policy that the student must wait days to re-attempt this particular examThe student has requested to withdraw, and we are in the process of attempting to resolve this request according to the terms in the enrollment agreement. We hope that the student will reconsider and stick with the program as it can work for him if he just commits to follow the program

Our customer service manager has spoken with this student and outlined a plan to get her GPA up without having to retake courses for which she has already earned creditsWe are committed to helping this student reach her goals and have also offered to outline other potential college options where she can still take advantage of credit by examinationWe hope that the student is satisfied with our efforts and that we can get her back on track to reaching her goals

We regret that *** *** has changed her mind about her daughter proceeding with the Achieve Test Prep programWe have corresponded since her response, and she has chosen to receive the refund amount as outlined in the enrollment agreement instead of her previous choice of receiving the smaller refund with a course package and Degree Planning ReportWhile we understand people’s natural frustration with contracts, the refund calculation and withdraw terms are clearly outlined in the enrollment agreement which she signedWe believe our offer to modify her enrollment allowing for a refund plus a course package with Degree Planning Report is more than fair given that she simply changed her mind about proceeding and did not have specific problems with our product or serviceWe would love to help *** speed up the process of obtaining her degree by testing out of courses towards her ASN or BSN, and we wish her the best in her educational journey

Achieve Test Prep responded to her request and proceeded to process her request. We recognize the commitment students are making when they enroll, and some students may need to take further time to consider this commitment before enrolling. Achieve Test Prep assured this student through phone calls and live chat sessions that she can rethink her decision to enroll. We came to a quick resolution with this student to address her concern, and she is completely satisfied with the outcome. This student enrolled with Achieve Test Prep in May and completed our foundation courses June The student requested to withdraw in August After exploring her options, she opted to place her account on a temporary holdUnder no obligation to do so, Achieve Test Prep permitted the
student to stop making payments for monthsWe sent her an email confirming the arrangement and sent another email on January 1, to notify her that the regular payment schedule would be resuming on January 15thThe student contacted us on 2/19/to ask why payments were taken, and we reminded her of the temporary arrangement and contractual monthly paymentsAgain, under no obligation to do so, we offered to modify or reduce her payment structure again, but the student has decided at this time that she prefers to withdrawWe would love to help this student reach her educational and career goals At this time, she is adamant to withdraw, and we are in the process of resolving her withdrawal request according to the contract terms

I am rejecting this response because: Again with the misrepresentation to be polite: they just said the repeat a class is free thats a lie you must pay the full $in order to do the 911repeat a course so thats not freeThe requirements have changed multiple times at first I could take english and clep exam now I must take it in a college settingAnd the TEASE exam it has also changedATP promised the fastest way to achieving your RN a lie with all the add on's it will take years to get a year degreeThen about sending me this 26page contract serval times that's a lie, I first got this 26page contract in October when I was quitting and that dinesh k*** sent itJennifer h*** ATP representative computer address needs to be checked because she was the one to sign that docu sign not meI also took a how do I learn quuz after complaining last summer in which I was told that I needed to be in the class room and I agreeIn ATP response they said many have passedI will blog and check into that to see if I am the only one having problems with the instructors and rude staff such as dinesh and bridgette quality control of scamming folks.
