This student continues to allege that she did not sign the enrollment agreement; however, we have provided her with the signed agreement and the certificate from Docusign confirming the student did indeed execute this electronic agreementIt is difficult to determine how quickly a student will complete their degree programWe have students pursuing Associates and Bachelors degrees in many different fields of studyThere is little doubt that testing out of college courses does help students to achieve a degree faster, but there are many factors that come into play including students who take class at a time and take breaks between classes vsstudents who take multiple classes at a time without breaksThis student passed her Developmental Psychology exam on the first try, and we are confident that we can help her test out of more courses and reach her goal of becoming an RN as we have helped many othersClass retakes are not charged to the student account, and we have not charged this person directly for any class retakes even though she has taken the College Math class timesInstead, we have offered her additional support from Achieve for no additional chargeWe have attempted to resolve the student's withdraw request; however, the student has asked that we stop calling her about this matter, which impedes our ability to resolve the issueAt this time, we have not reached an agreement to resolve her account, and we invite her to reach out to us so we can try to reach an amicable resolution

This student enrolled with Achieve Test Prep in March and attended New Student Orientation in April The student had some personal and financial difficulties, and we allowed her to delay her contractual payments for several monthsShe initially requested to withdraw in September of
At that time, under no obligation to do so, we again offered to delay her payments this time for an additional months until she was ready to start classesThe student agreed, but requested to withdraw again in May On 5/31/she met with our Customer Service Manager who made several offers to assist this student including more time, a chance to review and revise her payment plan, and alternate program optionsThe student still wanted to withdraw, and the contractual terms were explained to herAgain under no obligation to do so, we have made this student a special offer to cancel her contract at a reduced rate or apply her payments to date towards trying a single courseWe believe the record shows that we have gone above and beyond what is expected in an attempt to address this student’s needs and that our offer to resolve her account is fairWe would love to help this student reach her educational and career goalsAt this time she is adamant to withdraw, and we are in the process of resolving her request according to the contract terms

She took her foundations courses (New Student Orientation and Achieve 101) upon
enrolling in April 2013, and also began to take Anatomy and Physiology
Subsequently, she also took Microbiology and Developmental Psychology with
ATP. *** *** contacted ATP in and told us that she was having
trouble affording her monthly payments and affording the tests due to some
personal issuesWe tried our best to help her with this by agreeing to let her
make reduced payments for monthsWe also gave *** *** an extension of
months on her reduced payment periodWe have a policy to encourage students to
test for courses within days of the class end date and to submit their exam
pass results before moving onto the next class. This is part of our recipe for
success, and students who adhere to our policies enjoy incredible pass rates
averaging 92%! We offer class re-takes to all students for no additional
charge, and *** *** did take advantage of this with her A&P courseWe
are sorry that *** *** feels she has not been satisfied with our serviceWe
have offered to modify *** ***’s contract to allow her to have lower monthly
payments, for her to retake any prior courses for no charge, and to work one on

I am rejecting this response because:Yes, they did offer to give the A&P class again because the instructor was incompetent & so many of the students complained When I tried to get out of the program I was told they could only give me a few months to resolve my issues Nevertheless, the economy has not gotten any better for me, so those options were not enough Also, when I applied for my test, that I failed, NO ONE contacted me regarding retaking the class, NO one contacted me to offer any kind of help, there was no feed back from any one of them They knew how to contact me to find the results of the test, but once I sent them that information, I never heard anything from them until now The young lady that called me (Bridgette) from ATP, has left two (2) messages, which I have returned, but it seems that we are playing phone tag She also stated that they have been sending emails with the withdrawal process, but as I told her in the message I left, I haven't received any such emails The only email I received from ATP was "Refer a friend - Earn $50" program So I made sure I left a message stating that I have not received them, and she should check the email address they are sending it to. A lot of these companies feel if they dial someone's number, it's actually communicating with them It is not! A phone call with no message, is the same as never calling Unfortunately you cannot always answer your phone, so if you don't recognize the number, you don't know they've called, this is why it is so important to leave a message. I just want my money back for the courses I've paid for, and never took I have paid out thousands of dollars, of which I cannot claim on my taxes (something I didn't know until I wanted to file)If you have it, you pay for it, but I'm not able to take it, but I continue to pay I can't keep going broke I am sorry.

The content of all student financial data is closely guarded by Achieve Test Prep to protect student privacy This student enrolled and completed two classes in our program. Monthly payments were charged to the credit card she authorized Achieve Test Prep to use and occurred while the student was actively participating in classes. In October, we reached amicable solution with the studentAny and all collected payments from the student were authorized while the student was enrolled in our programA fraction of the original payments were held by the students bank and later applied to the student's account after the bank validated the paymentsWe understand this may have caused the student to believe that there were new unauthorized charges to their account; however, no unauthorized charges were made.When this student decided to pursue a different path to becoming an RN, we offered a couple of viable solutions for her to continue in our program but she chose not to continue We recognized her desire to move forward in a different direction and reached an amicable resolution with her. Should this student reconsider her decision, we would welcome her back to our program

I am rejecting this response because: How does this explain them handwriting my bank account information on the enrollment agreement after I signed it and making withdrawals from my account! Since filing this complaint they have made contact with me again not giving fill and truthfull informationThey informed me if I continue on with them I would just need more clinical hours to obtain RN licensing in my state that is not facts the fact is I would have to get licensing elsewhere than work hours which is months than transfer the license to my state, their other solution was than get a federal job with a license from a neighboring state again not a real solution since federal jobs require years experience! They are only offering hope and not giving real facts but they want to play it off as miss communication on my part! If I wouldn’t have done my reach after they offered these solutions the last time and just excepted it I would have been left in the cold once again and they would have blamed it on me saying it was miscommunication on my part!

This student purchased a class package from Achieve Test PrepShe took classes with us and passed all exams on the first tryWhen the student moved from NJ to **she stopped attending classes; however, we do have virtual classes taught by live instructors availableClasses meet once a
week for hours. As recently as May 2016, the student did call and request to be registered for a nursing class but changed her mind and unregistered a few weeks laterAll of our enrollment agreements have a term length, which is customary for contractsThis student's contract reached full term in October 2015, which meant as of that point she was no longer eligible to invoke the withdrawal policy or drop coursesThe student reached out to us in August and requested to drop classes from her enrollment agreementWe admit that a customer service representative made an error and told the student that she can pay a $modification fee to drop up to classesHowever, the student was ineligible due to her contract expirationWe have since offered to refund the $modification fee due to this error, which we regretDespite the student's contract expiration, we have offered for her to still take her CPNE and NCLEX prep classes with us, since these are still outstandingWe offered to swap any classes she has not taken for classess towards an RN-BSN program in the futureWe have also made an offer to this student to address her refund request, and we hope that she finds these offers to be a fair resolution to her complaint

In our training we are very clear that timelines to graduation can only be estimated and can vary widely from student to student. I’M NOT HE ONE WHO’S CONFUSED…….ACHIEVE TEST PREP REPRESENTATIVE THAT’S RESPONDING ON THE BEHALF OF ACHIEVE TEST PREP IS CONFUSED!!!!Why won’t ATP answer my questions I’ve asked????  Why ATP only want to address one of my questions but talk to me on the phone for the other questions???? I rather respond to ATP via email or through the Revdex.com due to ATP likes to change up what has been said in the conversations.  I have questions I want ACHIEVE TEST PREP to answer:ANSWER THE QUESTIONS!!!!!!! STOP ADVOIDING THEM.1) Did Catherine W[redacted]/admissions rep, make an error and signed me up for the wrong classes (Phase 2 instead of Phase 1) YES OR NO?2) What’s the difference between PHASE 1 classes and PHASE 2 classes?3) How much does the ASN degree cost and how long does it takes to complete?4) How much does the BSN degree cost and how long does it take to complete?5) Did I pay $450.00 deposit in March 2016 and made two payments of $235.41(totaling $470.82) even when I couldn’t register?6) Did Achieve Test Prep sent and email on 7-28-16 about info session regarding [redacted] STATE UNIVERSITY making changes to their entrance requirements for LPN to BSN program7) When I first signed up with Achieve Test Prep, did ATP offer ENGLISH COMPOSITION? Does ATP still offer English Composition?8) What are the other classes ACHIEVE TEST PREP NO LONGER OFFER?9) What is the name of the class that Achieve Test Prep no longer offer due to high failure rate ( a lot of students at Achieve Test Prep failed the class)?10) Did I put my withdrawal on hold and waited on Bridget C[redacted] to follow up with me?11) Did Bridget C[redacted] ever follow up with me after I put the withdrawal on hold (BEFORE 10-06-16)?  When I filed my withdrawal, I did everything that was supposed to be done for the withdrawal process.  After Bridget C[redacted] didn’t follow up with me, I filed my complaint with the Revdex.com.  So to call and follow up with ATP-is REDUNDANT   I put my trust, my money ($920.82) and invested time into Achieve Test Prep and still no resolution to the problem/error Achieve Test Prep admission representative (Catherine W[redacted]) caused.  ATP (Achieve Test Prep) still won’t address the issue and that is I COULD’NT REGISTER FOR CLASSES/COURSES THAT I WAS SIGNED UP FOR SINCE MARCH 2016!   ATP continues to respond with “the student is confused and frustrated, she was having technical difficulties” and keep mentioning “login issues”.  As I previously mentioned in my last Revdex.com rejection response to ATP, I couldn’t REGISTER!  Registering for classes and logging in to my ATP account, are TWO DIFFERENT things.  I could login to my account. After I login, I would look for dates and times when a class I was signed up for was being offered online.  I would push the register button next to a class that I need, and NOTHING HAPPEN!  ATP can keep using “confused” to describe me, but there’s nothing confusing about my response on why I withdraw from ATP,  why I deserve A FULL REFUND of $920.82 and to cancel the contract so it won’t affect my credit or bring down my credit score.  ATP reps are the ones who are CONFUSED, because they don’t know the difference between REGISTER and LOGIN!In my last Revdex.com rejection response to ATP, I explained everything in details with timeline showing dates and names of correspondences/conversations  between me and ATP representatives.   I chose ATP to help further my nursing education/career (out of thousands of online schools/programs), ATP didn’t choose me.  If I didn’t want to do business with ATP, why would I                                    1) pay a deposit, 2) give ATP all of my debit card info for automatic monthly withdrawals,3) make two monthly payments, 4) attended orientation, info class/achieve 101, follow-up phone appointments and 5)talked to NOT 1, NOT 2, NOT 3 BUT SEVERAL ATP representatives            6) and last but not least ---PUT MY WITHDRAWAL WITH ATP ON HOLD and waited on Bridget C[redacted] to follow up with me!  My actions are showing that I was very serious about furthering my career/education in nursing.  Now, to address ATP response “We tried without success to reach this student to address each of her concerns and she has not reached out to us since meeting with our customer service manager on 9/6/16”.  Once again, ATP trying to direct the blame on me, when I waited patiently for Bridget C[redacted] to follow back up with me.  I didn’t file my complaint against ATP until the end of September 2016.  ATP representative that is responding on the behalf of ATP is good at lying, because ATP hasn’t tried to reach out to me until 10-6-16!  Bridget C[redacted] emailed and called me on 10/6/16----A WHOLE MONTH LATER, saying she would like to talk with me about my complaint with The Revdex.com and if I didn’t want to speak with her, I can speak with the Vice President of ATP/Romy W[redacted].  There were NO CALLS NOR EMAILS until 10-6-16.   If ATP attempted to call or email me, I want to know what are the dates and times they called or emailed me.  I kept ALL my emails from ATP and the ONLY time ATP rep/Bridget C[redacted] called/emailed me was on 10-6-16(A MONTH LATER).  Also, why do I need to speak with the vice president of ATP?  I know I’m not the first and surely won’t be the last customer who had problems with ATP.I don’t feel comfortable responding to ATP on a phone due to the fact they continue to lie, change what was said in the conversations, say I’m confused   and it will be my word against theirs.  ATP representatives are for the company they represent and work for.   They could care less about me.  So of course, they’re going to say everything that sounds good and make it seem like I don’t know what I‘m talking about.  But my action speaks louder than words.  My actions show that I did my part! I didn’t just make up every thing I’ve mentioned in my complaint and complaint responses.  My account of everything is very detailed down to names and dates. ATP actions shows that it’s a shady company, when a company tries to keep someone money and keep a contract valid after their mistakes and not owning up to it( ATP breached the contract ) -that shows deceit and I don’t want to do business with  a company I don’t trust. Achieve Test Prep says I’m frustrated, YES I’m frustrated because I was excited about starting a new journey  in furthering my education…So I can provide  a better life  for me and my daughter, have more job opportunities, a increased in pay with benefits and still do what I LOVE DOING.  ATP need to put themselves in my shoes: I PUT MY TRUST IN ATP, I GAVE MY DEPOSIT, I FOLLOW THE STEPS WITH ALL MY ONLINE AND PHONE MEETINGS, I MADE 2 PAYMENTS, I DIDN’T WITHDRAW UNTIL 5 MONTHS LATER FROM THE DATE OF ME SIGNING UP WITH ATP ON MARCH-11 -2016 and EVEN PUT THE WITHDRAWAL ON HOLD, just so they can keep responding back with “she’s confused and frustrated”I don’t trust ATP; it’s a scam because no other accredited school would deal with them but [redacted] State University).  That’s why Bridget C[redacted] didn’t respond back to me after she said she would, because she couldn’t find a school that will work with ATP in Illinois nor Missouri.  It’s a coincidence , that Bridget C[redacted] called and emailed me a month later (10-6-16) and a day before Revdex.com ask for my 3rd response (on 10-7-16).  ATP should just take the loss and used this situation as a learning lesson, not keep dragging the situation on and on.  ATP PLEASE ANSWER THE QUESTIONS I ASKED, DON’T JUST ANSWER 1 QUESTION.  I know why ATP won’t answer my questions, it’s because it will show they breached the contract and show they owe me everything I asked for, which is A FULL REFUND OF $920.82 AND CANCEL THE CONTRACT!!!!!  ATP didn’t pay me, I PAID THEM.  The bottom line is ATP MESSED UP and I COULDN’T REGISTER, SO STOP CHANGING THE COMPLAINT TO “LOGIN ISSUES”.  Just look at my last response to the Revdex.com against ATP---- I said I couldn’t register.  ATP I DON’T WANT TO CONTINUE MY EDUCATION WITH YOUR COMPANY, you’re not trustworthy.I WANT TO CUT ALL TIES WITH ATP; I DON’T WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH A DECEITFUL COMPANY!!!!  SO PLEASE DON’T CALL NOR  EMAIL  ME.   ATP I’M REQUESTING ALL CORESPONDENCE IS THROUGH THE Revdex.com, SO THERE’S NO CONFUSION ON WHAT IS BEING SAID!I’M REQUESTING A FULL REFUND OF $920.82 AND CANCEL THE CONTRACT, THAT’S ALL I WANT !!!!!![redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: Achieve Test prep continues to not grant a refund. Achieve has a confusing registration process. After the first blunder, Charlie R[redacted] assured me that his assistant would walk me through the process and ensure registration. We did it together, and once again I was not registered, the class came and went. I only had the one class to take for my degree. With Achieve potentially holding up me finishing school, I took the class through my TRUSTED University. They are in breech of contract, and I want a refund. I had to hire an attorney. Until I get my refund for their breech, I will not accept any response from Achieve until a refund is granted. Achieve has students sign contracts that take away the right to a refund, which is shady business practice. Additionally they make you have about 4 to 5 exit meetings to try to delay any type of refund you may get. I will continue to be Highly dis-satisfied with this company until they do the right thing, and grant my refund. They have resolved NOTHING. They have me currently writing an appeal. This is certainly a "Buyer be aware" business. NEVER sign a long term contract for more than one course with these people. I have read in several forems the same exact thing I am going through. They do not deliver, and keep your money because you signed a lengthy contract that ensures that they get your money, and can keep it with out delivering service. My attorney is waiting to see what the appeals process yields. We may need to draft a law suit with them.

I am not rejecting or accepting this response because: Achieve  representatives have contacted me.  They, Achieve have proposed other resolutions.   I am going to thoroughly read with my adviser and possible take  in consideration with more compromise an amendment.   We have not completely resolve the matter to a satisfactory agreement on both parties.  Positive communication is still in progress. I have been given a dead line by Achieve to make a decision by 11-10-17. The resolution options are Achieves. I will continue to touch basis  with Achieve in a positive resolution that I feel is satisfactory from my stand point as well.  There was a verbal admittance by Achieve representative that I was miss informed regarding the situation of classes.  Achieve Test Prep offers positive support in all interactions with students to help them achieve their academic goals.   We are responsive to students' concerns and make it a priority to address all concerns in a timely manner.  At the time this student's transcripts were received, a call was immediately scheduled and held the next day to review them and discuss which classes in which she could immediately enroll.  This student had the option of enrolling in Achieve's classes before or after completing the other required prerequisites for which credit-by-examination is not available and must be taken with the college.When Achieve Test Prep was contacted by the student with scheduling concerns, we made several different recommendations to the student to help resolve her concerns.   We even offered to place her enrollment "on hold" until her work schedule became less demanding, and she could focus on her classes.  We believe we offer our students flexible class schedule options, which are available for viewing 24x7 before or after enrollment on our website (www.achievetestprep.com).   In addition, although our students love to participate in our live virtual classes, if ever a student misses a class, we offer a recording of the missed class session.We will continue our attempts to connect with this student and work toward an amicable resolution.   We are responsive to students' concerns and make it a priority to address all concerns in a timely manner.  At the time this student's transcripts were received, a call was immediately scheduled and held the next day to review them and discuss which classes in which she could immediately enroll.  This student had the option of enrolling in Achieve's classes before or after completing the other required prerequisites for which credit-by-examination is not available and must be taken with the college.When Achieve Test Prep was contacted by the student with scheduling concerns, we made several different recommendations to the student to help resolve her concerns.   We even offered to place her enrollment "on hold" until her work schedule became less demanding, and she could focus on her classes.  This statement by Achieve is not all completely true. that is  when I was informed I COULD NOT take ANY  offered course by achieve. This student submitted a withdraw request on March 18th.  We did have a small delay responding which we regret, however this does not alter the terms of the contract. Our records do show that we attempted to contact the student by phone and email before April 29th, which contradicts her claim....

In fact, we made 7 contact attempts to the student through June before we were finally able to connect to discuss her concerns. We explained the contract terms, and when she was not happy with these, we outlined alternative options and compromises.  Our contract cancellation and refund terms are outlined on page 6 of the enrollment agreement, and she initialed next to this policy when she executed the enrollment agreement.  We have reached out to this student to resolve her complaint and hope to resolve this matter amicably.
