Complaint: 11023832A gentleman did indeed contact me the evening of 01-04-and stated he would look into the matterI am rejecting this response because as allowed by Texas law, I wish to receive the cancelled note / mortgage, and a lien release on the parcel previously under said mortgageA "letter of explanation" as proposed from the lender / mortgage service provider ("PennyMac") is not acceptable

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:I have finally, after weeks received a letter, which consists of sentence with the consent I was seekingHowever, it was my own title company who did all the work and provided the language in the letter (the same language I gave them a month ago)The amount of time it took to provide this simple letter was outrageous and completely unacceptableThe fact they could not produce it without the help of my title company is patheticAdditionally, since they received my complaint from the Revdex.com, I received phone call and no follow up as requested nor did they return any my callsThey also underfunded my escrow account, leaving me with a huge bill for my insurance, which completely undermines the point of having an escrow accountOverall, PennyMac has, in my opinion, acted negligently and incompetentlyI hope to close my account with them soon and never do business with them again

PennyMac understands and truly empathizes with her concerns; however, please be assured that the assessment of a service charge for telephone payments with a customer service representative is done so in accordance with State Laws Please be aware that the assessment of a service charge for payments processed with a Customer Service Representative is a standard practice in the mortgage servicing industry
PennyMac offers several options for borrowers to submit their monthly mortgage payments without having to pay a service charged Borrowers who have filed for Bankruptcy protection, can mail their mortgage payment to our payment processing centers or they can use their bank's online bill pay service provider to submit their payments Please be advised that we are now accepting electronic transfers from the major Bill Pay Service Providers and will continue to add more companies throughout the following months

MsC*** on May 6, to discuss her concerns. MsC*** was advised PennyMac would
complete a thorough review of her loan.
She was also provided the direct contact information for an Executive
Research Associate, should she have any further questions or concerns while
PennyMac reviewed her loan. At this time
our review is still in progress. Upon
the completion of our review, a follow up call will be made to MsC***, in
addition to a written response being mailed to her attention

PennyMac strives to provide superior customer
service and process all transactions in a timely and efficient manner. Upon
receipt of the Revdex.com notification, a thorough review of the loan was completed to
determine the status of Ms***’s escrow refund. Our records confirm that a refund check was
issued to Ms*** on January 2, 2014; however, we were advised that she
did not receive the initial check. As a
result a stop payment was placed on the original check and a replacement check
was issued and mailed to the address of record on January 30, 2014.
Ms*** notified PennyMac on March 5,
that she did not receive the replacement check. Prior to processing another stop payment,
PennyMac needed to verify the status of the second check mailed to Ms
***. We were able to confirm that
the replacement check was still outstanding; therefore, a stop payment was
placed on the replacement check on March 25, 2014. We are in the process of issuing a third
check to Ms*** and will mail out via certified mail for tracking
purposes The check will be mailed under
separate cover in approximately to business days PennyMac attempted to contact Ms*** on
March 31, to verify the mailing address for the replacement check. A message was left for Ms*** with our
representative’s contact information

Currently pursuing legal action against PennyMac Loan Services, LLC following two (2) years of negligence on their part during the modification, short sale and ultimately foreclosure process This firm acts with blatant disregard for the consumerContinuous deplorable communication, lack of support and failure to provide consistent answers / resolution have led to this company buying back the mortgage for $25,less than the appraised value and more than half of the mortgage balance owned to them This is nothing other than pure fraud
