Stealing my house
PennyMac sent me notice of eviction because I was late. I was never late. They charge exorbitant late fees, even though never late. They reverse any promises to fix the issue. Particularly, Hanji, the manager lied about everything on the phone with me. My bank records say one thing, their correspondence says another and their website says another.
They are trying to steal my house and I have a disabled son, with Duchene Muscular Dystrophy and Autism which took me 8 years to fix up the house to cater to his needs. PennyMAC are monsters and a mafia criminal organization.

The WORST
PennyMac cost me thousands of dollars by fumbling (with MULTIPLE issues/incidents) the closing of a 5 duplex deal, causing unnecessary delays. Then they screwed up the escrows so bad, their representative took 4 days to figure it out. Then they failed to pay my property taxes on time. While I was out of country, something happened to my insurance and they charged me $189 for "3 weeks of insurance". If they called me or emailed me I would have gotten the email or my answering service would have emailed me. Salt in the wound. When I called, they just kept talking over me and repeating themselves over and over after I ask them to stop repeating themselves. I don't recommend anyone ever do business with PennyMac.

PennyMac could care less about 100% disable veterans
I was in the hospital with covid and complications from covid. Jan 23, 2022 I was life flighted out of Ketchikan AK to Anchorage AK, 775 miles away and no cell phone. I had large blood clots in my heart and lungs. I was in critical condition. So, after heart surgery I have lost part of my right lung.
Now I was 30 days late JAN and FEB with my house payment. As my wife tried to figure out our finances. While we were over 700 miles apart. Penny Mac was not understanding at all and would not remove negative remarks from my credit report. All of my other creditors helped me out by removing the negative reports on my credit record.
PennyMac is the only negative remarks on my credit record. My credit score is over 750 right now. They are not understanding at all. Even with proof.

I'm a 100% P&T disabled veteran. I currently live in a three-story house, and now I am unable to get a loan for a home, that does not have stairs and the other ADA things I need, because of the remarks from Penny Mac. I have to wait a year to move, no one will give me a loan until then. Here in Ketchikan AK, there are very few medical facilities to meet my medical needs.

Wow! I ended up with PENNYMAC on my San Diego, Ca. REFI. What a disaster. I found that I cannot reach a live person by telephone; I found that their web site is totally "non consumer friendly", I got so frustrated that I sent a "Demand" letter on my Legal Stationary to them at a P.O. Box number in Los Angels since I cannot find their business office address. No response was received at this writing. What a disaster.

Had an unsolicited call with a loan officer, where some questions were answered. Never authorized or requested a loan.
Received an unsolicited loan application and hard inquiry on our credit report without doing a loan.
I called PennyMac and the loan officer who sent the application and left voicemails. The following week, still NO RESPONSE.
My concern is how they obtained my private information, from an existing transferred loan.
I would NEVER recommend doing business with someone who does this. To me, this is a privacy violation of the sensitive data in their systems.

Rude Customer Service
I am receiving multiple phone calls as well as emails from various Mortgage companies encouraging me to refinance my mortgage into a lower rate. I have gotten multiple emails from PennyMac who has my mortgage now. I called to see if they could lower my rate. They offered about .75% rate decrease and then said closing costs would be $10,000! It would take me over 8 years to break even! I told him I would consider the offer but that I was speaking with other lenders as $10,000 seemed a bit on the high side for closing costs. The rep became defensive and told me how little margin they work on. When I questioned that he said if I find a lower rate with better terms somewhere else they would match it. I asked if they could match someone else's rate after the fact, why they couldn't just offer it now. He has no answer for that. I should mention I owe less than half the value of my home on the mortgage. My credit score is in the excellent range and I have never missed a payment. I continued to question him on the fees asking for specifics of the "handling charges" which he could not explain. He also mentioned some of the same fees in two different categories?!? When I questioned this he said ok, ok, have a nice day and hung up! Seriously? That's how they handle customer service?

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: I still do not have a check in my hand I recieved r a call and called back in less than minutes only to get a machineI left a message requesting another call back It's been weeks and still no check Anything less than having the money sent with a tracking number is unacceptable since I have been told different times that it has been mailed and have not reviewed it What good does telling me it was mailed weeks ago (August 26th) do? Avoid if possible! Reading everyone's review of this company, it is exactly what I am dealing withMy mortgage was sold to PennyMac from Chase in JulySince then the insurance on my house was dropped for nearly a month since they didn't handle it the way they were supposed to in the transferNow I am getting mail stating the last bill I paid didn't have sufficient funds to satisfy my payment, when I paid the exact amount the bill stated Good luck trying you get through to them as well, long wait times until you can even talk to somebody; and when you do they try spinning the blame back on you Non apologetic about any of their mistakes and it has been nothing but stress dealing with this incompetenceAVOID AT ALL COST!

My loan was bought by PennyMac and since then it has been a nightmareMy insurance rep has sent notices in regards to payment and so have I for my insurance payment.I have also sent them information that PennyMac requested stating that I had insuranceUpon calling them today, PennyMac precedes to tell me that they paid the billThe unknowledgeable customer rep at PennyMac then states we switched insurance which is untrue and then when asked where our money from our escrow went ( because there was a check somewhere for the insurance company that was taken out our account) she then tells us, "We possibly cut a check on 7/and never sent it or sent it to our insurance company instead of yours we done this to a couple thousand members" this was unbelievableHorrible place!!!

We were in the process of selling our home which had pennymac as the lender due to the loan being sold to them Never had a problem with them So when it came time to buy our next home they said they could do all sorts of things for us Also that they would be there to answer questions along the way We said ok got a good rate Our home was still under construction and had about and a half months left to be finished, they said not a problem we will get this done it a timely matter(False) Went through two different loan officer, wasn't told the one had to go on emergency leave or something like that for almost two weeks The loan processor didn't know what she was doing she would email things to send to the builder and the realtors even though she had there numbers and email address We also couldn't get a firm closing number from them, we wanted to bring additional money to closing and I told them that from day one Kept getting different numbers all way up until the end And when I asked at the end about it they told me it was to late and sorry We also were going to try and close a week early, so I called and emailed to make sure they had everything they needed They said we think so and that wont be a problem Same loan processor told me that not but one day later she sends a email asking for things that the realtor and builder had sent her times needless to say we didn't close on time After we did close I filed a complaint on there website got a phone call from there complaint department based out of Dallas Texas Told the guy what had happened and he sounded shocked and said this is horrible he apologized many times about it and said that someone from those departments will be giving me a call in the next week That was a month ago By the way the department said that is was a construction issue and that is what took so long for the loan to close So I called him back two weeks later told him I haven't heard anything Once again he sounded shocked about that and he is forwarding it to the Vice President of those areas and I should here something back in hours He also would be calling me back in hours That never happened I have called him times since then goes straight to voice mail Needless to say I am not happy with Penny Mac and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone I know I am currently looking for a new lender just so I don't have to pay them anymore of my money in interest
