dir="LTR">*** came in to our facility on July 8, 2014, he stated his vehicle would start and than cut offhe explained all the repairs he had done to the vehicleWe ran some test and replaced the ECT sensor and cleaned the fuel system
*** was advised that he needed a throttle body and the vehicle was getting low fuel pressureWe advised *** that if he supplied the fuel pump we would install the pump at no chargeIt was around two weeks before *** supplied us with the fuel pump
The fuel pump is being installed at no charge today and will be ready for pick up on Friday August 15,
We again apologize as well as thank *** for allowing us the opportunity to address his concerns

I am rejecting this response because: my original complaint was not explained to me and doing another alignment at Pep Boys would be a waste of my timeYou have not made an effort in telling me why you did not align my vehicle the first time and why you have not aligned my vehicle the second timeBoth alignments were done with the same exact "new part" you claim I changed which was changed over months prior to the first alignmentI would like a full refund to conclude this complaint.

to me and I explained him the process of returning a Special order and that
there will be a re-stocking fee of 20%, *** was not informed about a re-stocking fee for returning

We are in receipt of the complaint sent to your office *** *** on April 2014, We would like to apologize to *** for inconvenience he may have experienced at our facility
Customer *** *** ***, came into Pep Boys on March 13, to have a state inspection done*** *** was the service writer that wrote the work order that included a oil changeThe technician pulled the vehicle in and started the inspection, he found the vehicle needed several repairs, *** was contacted, but declined the repairs and advised the technician that he wanted to take his vehicle to another facility for a second opinion
On March 19, 2014, *** returned to have the repairs done in order to pass inspectionthe repairs were performed and the vehicle was picked up
*** called the next day and asked why the vehicle was running rough, we advised that a diagnostic was not performed, but that we would do one at no costWe found that cylinder # had no compression and that they needed a engineWe offered to get a price for a engine , which we did and also informed the customer that we would work with the price
*** advised that he would return at a later date, but has not returned
We performed repairs that were needed to pass a state inspection, which had nothing to do with *** needing an engineWe are willing to work with the price, however no refunds are due
