I am rejecting this response because:Pep boys still have not explained why my daughter's car oil was empty on the day we came to pick up the car? Prep boys ruined my daughter's car because the oil was never put back in the engine even they changed it initially. My request remains the same. I want reimbursement for my daughter's car that they ruined

facility.Ms. [redacted] came to our facility for an oil change and while requesting the oil change , Ms. [redacted] requested we check her antifreeze level. Her vehicle was taken in the shop. The antifreeze was check and did not need to be topped off. The oil change was performed.
When Ms. [redacted] called and stated she was leaking oil, we immediately advised her to have the vehicle towed back. Once the vehicle was brought in it was found that she had an antifreeze leak. We reviewed our CCTV and found at no time during the oil change was it possible for the mechanic to damage the radiator.
We found no wrong doing on behalf of Pep Boys and no refunds or repairs by Pep Boys are due.
We again apologize, as well as thank Ms. [redacted] for allowing us the opportunity to address her concerns..

I am rejecting this response because:
They made no reference to the fact that I came in and told them brakes were still giving problems. The day I took it in it had no brakes and they sent me away saying they were busy. The next morning the lights were still on and still no brakes!! I towed it to another mechanic. They sent me away with no brakes!!! My complaints remain the same. The other mechanic insists he sent them the reason for damage to my car was the damage was the hyperextension.

Last month I took my car to the DMV to get my 2001 Honda Civic inspected. The car passed inspection. During the inspection the inspector unplug the sensor reader while the car was still running causing the car to go into limp mode. When this happened the car wouldn’t go over than 10 miles/hr. I knew my car trouble was related to the inspection process, the car was running fine prior to the inspection. So I dropped my car at a nearby Pep Boys.
While at Pep Boys I told them want happened at the DMV, they said that they will need to keep my car to make an assessment. The next day they called me and said that it would cost over $700.00 to repair the car. I called my mechanic and he agreed that most likely the car was in limp mode and could be repaired by hooking up the sensor reader to my car. The mechanic at Pep Boys made up a fake diagnosis for saying that the labor for this repair would take hours. I had a male friend call the store to get the details of the repair. My friend called at mechanic and relayed the information to him. The mechanic said what Pep Boy’s was telling me didn’t make any sense. Pep Boy’s claimed that fluid from a valve was dripping on my sensor causing it to malfunction. The mechanic said that was physically impossible because the valve and sensor were not in close proximity of each other.
A male friend of mine went to Pep Boys to question the diagnosis. After Pep Boy was caught in a lie, they fixed the car by plugging in the sensor reader and the car started and ran fine. Pep Boy mechanics saw a single female and decided to rip me off. That is why I am making this complaint against PepBoy’s on 1400 N. Dupont Highway in New Castle, DE.

facility.On January 23, 2015 [redacted] brought her 2006 [redacted] HHR with 227120 miles on it to Pep Boys #** and had one tire replaced and a high mileage oil change completed on WO# 00[redacted]. When [redacted] returned the first time as per her complaint it was noted the dipstick for measuring the oil level in her car was not seated all of the way and the oil light had not been reset. There was oil leaking from [redacted]'s vehicle but not from the plug or filter which is the only things serviced by Pep Boys when completing the oil change. We had no way of telling if anyone else had touched the dipstick since it left our location, but these two small things were corrected and had no bearing on [redacted]'s oil leak.
On February 14, 2015, [redacted] returned a second time and spoke with our Service Manager Bobby T[redacted] who picked [redacted]'s vehicle up on the lift and showed [redacted] where the oil was leaking from which was the rear main seal of the engine. Bobby explained to [redacted] that changing the oil in a vehicle will not cause this leak and Pep Boys was therefore not responsible for any repairs. [redacted] was not happy with this explanation so Bobby suggested if she would like to get a second opinion from someone else she trusts that [redacted] could take the vehicle to a dealership for them to examine. [redacted]'s request for a refund of the oil change and repairs to her vehicle for an oil leak that we not our fault have been denied.
