[redacted] On April 11, 2016, I received a call from Meghan J[redacted] stating a letter will be sent out, Fed Ex that I have repeatedly asked for.  I have asked over and over again for an explanation as to why my account was touched without prior knowledge and have yet to receive an explanation or an apology for all the hassle with this matter and PNC.

Although I was a co-signer on this loan granted to my mother, once she became ill, her finances were being handled by another family member. I took pro-active measures to safeguard my credit history, and take responsibility for the loan payments, by making arrangements with the bank branch manager to keep me informed and up to date so the loan would not become delinquent. PNC BANK GAVE ME FALSE ASSURANCES THAT THE MECHANISMS PUT IN PLACE WOULD PREVENT THIS DELINQUENCY FROM HAPPENING. PNC bank failed to notify me of any problems with this account in a timely manner, and never gave me an opportunity to make things right until I contacted them when my mother died. By that time the late fees and penalties were over $5000.00. I did everything I could think of to avoid this problem and the PNC bank branch manager I had worked with did not suggest any other options or actions to avoid this from happening.As a result of this complaint I received a letter from PNC Bank loan department in which they list other things I "should" have done to avoid this problem. When I contacted them to inform them that my mother's finances were in the hands of another family member, they should have informed me of these "other" measures at that time. I don't work in finance, I was relying on the advice of the PNC bank branch manager. I did everything I could think of and they failed to keep me informed as promised. PNC bank dropped the ball on this one and now it shows as a negative item on my credit history. I shouldn't be surprised that they reject any responsibility for this, they have so many customers that I'm sure a few complaints like mine don't bother them at all. But I'm disappointed that they didn't even offer me an apology. If they had worked with me as promised they would have got their money back.

2014, I have tried to resolve this issue with PNC Bank to no avail. They have place punitive late charges and fees on a prepayment I mad on my account in 2003 and continue to add these fees to this day. I have repeatedly shown PNC that my account should be current if they took away the penalties and fees; yet somehow, PNC doesn't seem to understand what I am trying to communicate to them. They have consistently said they want to resolve the issue with me and then they send me communications stating that the issue is closed. They know I am current with my mortgage. They know I am not late. They know all they have to do is physically moved the mortgage due date to the correct month, and the issue would be resolved.

[A rep from PNC did call and offer an apology on behalf of the bank (I requested an apology from the Manager that caused this Sam B[redacted]), The rep clearly said that: PNC does does offer ANY compensation to anyone thus My time and money spent due to the Manager means nothing to them, and lastly the rep offered to look into the matter but no further effort was made nor did she give me the paperwork I requested, so HOW was anything resolved???

the situation. Just because he contacted me by phone does not mean that they corrected the situation. He failed to give me any type of explanation or remedy for the situation. The fact remains that I had a $120 taken from my checking account by PNC  for fraudulent charges that were committed by an merchant and they are supporting the merchant.I have never received any documentation from PNC as to why they feel it is acceptable for them to support credit card fraud. [redacted]

Thanks for letting me know because I NEVER recieved any response on May 22 Which You Keep Claiming The Atm Transaction was $310.00 Like ive stated Before Either Reopen Account and have $300.00 refunded to me or Court

 Dear Ms. [redacted]: This is in response to your complaint filed on October 30, 2017, with the Revdex.com of
Western Pennsylvania regarding your PNC Bank, National Association (“PNC”), CashBuilder credit card
account ending in [redacted] (the “Account”). I appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.
 According to your complaint and our records on June 5, 2016, you visited the PNC Potomac Yard @
Giant Branch located at 621 E Glebe Road, Alexandria, VA 22305 (the “Branch”). This visit resulted in an
application for a credit card for which you were approved but for which you state you did not apply. You
requested to be relieved of the debt that was incurred.
 Our records indicate that the above-referenced Account was opened on July 9, 2016. The credit card was
sent to [redacted] , which is the address on the application. On July
14, 2016, a statement cycled and was sent to the address of record at the time. The statement showed
the card had been used to make six transactions totaling $368.70. A minimum payment of $25.00 was
due on August 9, 2016. On August 11, 2016, a payment in the amount of $370.70 was made to the
Account. This payment was made using a check drawn on your PNC checking account ending in #[redacted].
Additionally, our records reflect that this Account has been used consistently throughout 2017.
 PNC takes very seriously its commitment to conduct business in a professional manner. Upon receipt of
the complaint, PNC researched and reviewed this matter and determined that at the time of application,
you provided the necessary information for the PNC employee to complete the credit card application.
 Furthermore, in a conversation with a PNC representative on October 3, 2017, you admitted to receiving,
activating, and using the Account. You allegedly decided to keep and use the Account because you were
told you could lower your interest rate later. I apologize but PNC currently does not have a program to
evaluate individual requests for lower rates on existing accounts.
 Since no employee wrongdoing occurred, and you acknowledged receipt and use of the Account, PNC
respectfully declines your request to relieve you of your debt.
