and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I appreciate PNC mailing their communication to me in writing, and certainly feel better that the company PNC hired to come to our home 1) will no longer be demanding entry inside our home, and 2) no longer confront me and my husband personally. Thanks to all for your assistance with this matter.

This is new information concerning the above referenced matter. This complaint is not resolved. The business stated they would respond to me in writing over two weeks ago, and have since been non-responsive to my calls and emails. My complaint against the business is that it failed to comply with its terms and conditions, and honor its contractual obligation. The business charged late and interest fees for payment that was made late as a result of technical issues with its website and app. The business offered to return the interest fees, but not the late fee.In its initial response, the business admitted fault for not returning both fees, and advised that the circumstance was not standard business practice. The business forged my account closed however as a result of its erroneous penalties to my account. I requested that my account be reopened as the businesses mistake and account closure after 5 plus years of business and a large credit limit would negatively affect my credit.Regards,[redacted]

which stated that they acknowledged the payment for April but not May for the payments I made and I am going to the agency that handles  Consumers complaints with Banks. They have not removed the LATE PAYMENT for MAY which has lowered my credit score.. So if you can not make them understand I am going higher up with the Federal Agency. They feel they can do what they want and the consumer has no say so . Well they are wrong and I am very upset due to the time spent with no resolution. Time is of importance when it come to my credit score.. they are hindering ME an I will fight back. I have a right for a receipt of funds I give them , an  what the funds are for. This is My Right as a consumer.Thank you [redacted]

[redacted]RE: Revdex.com of Western Pennsylvania - Case Number [redacted]Dear Ms. [redacted]:This is in response to your complaint filed on January 6, 2018, with the Revdex.com of Western Pennsylvania...

regarding your PNC Bank, National Association (“PNC”) Performance Interest checking account ending |4| (the “Account”). I attempted to contact you on January 8, 2018, but was unsuccessful in reaching you. I appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. In your complaint you stated that in December of 2017, $252.00 in Overdraft Item fees were assessed to your Account. You advised that your mobile application showed a positive balance when you made the transactions causing the overdraft, which were held as "pending." You stated you have been unsuccessful in reaching PNC to obtain an explanation for the fees. You indicated that because these Overdraft Item fees caused additional overdrafts, you would like a refund in the amount of $252.00 for the fees assessed on December 6 and 8, 2017. PNC denies that any wrongdoing occurred, but, as a courtesy, has decided to honor your request.Pursuant to PNC’s Account Agreement for Personal Checking, Savings, and Money Market Accounts (the “Account Agreement”), in determining whether you have sufficient funds in your account to pay checks and other withdrawal items, PNC’s general practice is to consider (1) the deposits and withdrawals posted to the account that day, and (2) all pending electronic transactions (including, but not limited to, point-of-sale transactions) for which PNC has received notice, even if those transactions have not yet posted to your account. Pending transactions immediately impact the balance used to pay items presented for payment during nightly processing, and PNC’s general practice is to post items according to the date and time they were authorized or when PNC received notice of the transaction. We receive notice of transactions at various times throughout the day, and not necessarily in the order in which they occur. Finally, Overdraft Item Fees are only assessed on the posted items presented to your account against uncollected or non-sufficient funds.PNC researched your assertions regarding this matter and determined that Overdraft Item Fees were appropriately assessed on December 5, 6 and 8, 2017, as disclosed in the notices sent to your address of record. According to our records, on December 4, 2017, your beginning balance in the Account was $416.82. There were six (6) transactions totaling $71.58 that remained pending and reduced your available balance to pay items to $345.24. There was a deposit in the amount of $100.00 that increased the available balance to pay items to $445.24. Subsequently, there were eight (8) transactions totaling $476.04 presented for payment which resulted in a negative balance of -$30.80. One (1) $36.00 Overdraft Item Fee was appropriately assessed on December 5, 2017.On December 5, 2017, your beginning balance in the Account was $40.78. There were three (3) transactions totaling $52.61 that remained pending and reduced your available balance to pay items to -$11.83. Subsequently, there were three (3) transactions totaling $72.97 and the $36.00 Overdraft Item fee presented for posting which resulted in a balance of -$120.80. Three (3) $36.00 Overdraft Item Fees were appropriately assessed on December 6, 2017.On December 7, 2017, your beginning balance in the Account was -$176.19. There was one (1) credit transaction in the amount of $1.67 that remained pending and increased your available balance to pay items to negative -$174.52. Subsequently, four (4) transactions totaling $63.96 presented for posting which resulted in a balance of -$238.48. Four (4) $36.00 Overdraft Item Fees were appropriately assessed on December 8, 2017.It is PNC’s practice to refund any fee assessed as the result of a bank error, which did not occur in these instances. However, PNC is sympathetic to your concerns. On February 22, 2018, seven (7) $36.00 Overdraft Item fees totaling $252.00 and one (1) $15.00 Calculated Service Charge were refunded as a courtesy. These refunds are viewable through your online statements at www.pnc.com. Future refunds may not be granted unless the fees are the result of a bank error.PNC provides multiple methods to confirm the available balance at a given time. One method available to you is mobile banking. Please note that when signing into mobile banking, two balances are provided; a “Ledger Balance” and an “Available Balance.” Please refer to the “Available Balance” when initiating transactions for payment. Available balance is the balance that is available for immediate withdrawal from your Account. Available balance does not take into account deposits not yet available or items PNC has not received notification of, such as checks or check card purchases that settle for amounts different than the pending amount.Options such as Overdraft Protection and PNC Alerts, which in addition to keeping your account register up to date, recording purchases as they are made, and maintaining a positive account balance, may help to effectively manage the account and avoid the assessment of fees.Enclosed for your records are copies of the following:• Overdraft Notices dated December 5, 6, and 8, 2017• Checking Account Statement dated December 12, 2017Thank you for allowing me to clarify PNC’s position in this matter. If you have any further questions regarding this issue, please feel free to contact me directly at [redacted]. I am available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:45 pm, Eastern Time.Sincerely,Executive Client Relations Enclosures

PNC gave me terrible excuses as to why they couldn’t fix this.

[HiI do not understand how they have resolved the matter. The last person I spoke to Brett B[redacted] said that he will talk to his colleagues /others and get back to me. He did not get back. The lady Pam said that she will get her boss to contact me - he did not.Basically - the issue still remains. My old debt is not being paid off first ( as is the practice with all businesses - pay old debt first before new debt). No one has contacted me to resolve the matter - so I believe the issue still remains - unresolved.I am not surprised that the business responded like that - basically they have not been very helpful. To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]
