I had an emergency plumbing issue at a rental property today Francisco Duran with Plumbing Medic was prompt, efficient and kept me informed over the phone He showed compassion for the needs of my resident who is wheel chair bound and completed a repair, including a trip for parts, in good time I find that the people I have dealt with at Plumbing Medic are also very helpful and understanding on the phone when scheduling

Neighbor alerted me to water leaking out under my garage door - I found water on the floor of rooms as I walked to garage, and then saw water softener equipment gushing water - neighbor shut off water, and I started figuring how to get water off my floorsAfter getting that started, I looked for recommendations for plumberFirst one I called was booked for days and recommended Plumbing MedicAfter checking their Revdex.com rating, I called and they worked to get someone to me as soon as possible - first said within hours, then called with update that a man could help me soonerFrancisco arrived about hours after my initial call, checked my system and pipes for resin contamination and got my water back onAlso capped off connections to softenerPolite, friendly, informative, skilled - very pleased

This company asks its customers to post online reviews after they do their service That explains why they have that many online reviews
At first I was satisfied with their service and posted my good review But after a few days I discovered how I was fooled into paying for services I didn't ask for, and I discovered some of their annoying practices
I asked them to install two toilets that I purchased myself They charged me x $= $for the toilets replacement My bill was $480.99, I will explain how this happened
They also decided, on their own without asking me, to replace a supply line in my third bathroom that was working perfectly fine They decided to replace it and charged me for it before even seeing it I never showed it to them or even mentioned it Here is $

They did not charge me for consultation or water hardness test, though Also, the technician was nice enough to help me pick up the toilets from Lowe's in his truck, free of charge
For an unclear reason they decided to charge me half the cost upfront on the day of the consultation even though it's all labor cost, since I purchased the toilets my self from Lowe's
Today I discovered that they had stuck a big ugly sticker on my water heater claiming that they installed it and asking me to call them in case of an emergency They did not install the water heater and I asked them not to touch it when they wanted to perform maintenance on it But they took the liberty to post ads in my house and lie
I do not mind paying extra for a service I ask for Deceptive practices and performing services I didn't ask for to raise the bill is something I don't accept
I will not hire them again

That worked to good that it clogged my drain with the built upThen my washer drain backed up all over
My garage floor I called for recallThey sent a supervisor out to snake the drainBut, it still drained on floorThis went on for weeksFinally they sent James on 2nd recallHe snaked the drain twice & tested the washer before leaving It drains proper now!

Shawn worked efficiently and also spoke honestly of the issues in my water heaterThere were aspects that were working to standard yet there were others that needed to be addressed and I was more than willing to pay for his experiencial knowledge in the subject matterHe had also taught me how I can be a more responsible owner of tge particular water heater I own and to maintain it betterI highly recommend his services for thorough and accurate problem solving for these water heaters
