Precise Leads, Inc. Reviews (185)

Review: I signed up with Precise Leads in September, 2015. When I signed up, I was told that I could return any bad leads. As with any lead service, naturally there were bad ones. Several, in fact. There were so many that I started getting a "you have exceeded your limit of returns" message when I tried to return leads. Unfortunately, that is not my problem. Precise gave me bad leads and expected me to pay for them. I had been charged $600 on my credit card for these leads. I started trying to get my money back through my credit card but I was unsuccessful except for a return of $93 dollars. When I started my dispute with my credit card company, Precise locked me out of my account, so I could not access any leads, even the few good ones that were sent. Due to this, I now want my FULL amount back - the remaining $507 dollars that I was charged. Letting me back into my account at this time - 4 months later - does no good. Those leads are now old and no good. I want my money back, I'm not paying for leads that I was not able to access. After I made my initial complaint to my credit card, someone from Precise did contact me. I called them back and left a message. No reply to this day. Horrible customer service.Desired Settlement: I want all of my money back. That's the only resolution I will accept.

Review: I am an insurance agent and decided to try Lrecise leads for as a lead source. I wanted to call the prospects as soon as they submitted a request for quote. Precise leads had a minimum deposit of $300. I began receiving leads on March [redacted]. The leads were coming in the middle of the night which made it impossible to call them immediately as I wanted to do so I emailed [redacted], my account rep to cancel on March [redacted]. She contacted me and offered to have them come in a certain times of the day and to lower my autobill to $100 which I agreed to try. This still was not working out the way I wanted so on March ** I emailed [redacted] again to cancel. Their cancellation policy is that you do not receive a refund but keep receiving leads until your funds run out. I received my last leads on March [redacted] and on March [redacted] someone named ** called me from Precise Leads and offered to fix some things on the filters and give me credits if would I be willing to try again. I said yes but told him that I did not want them charging my credit card again without my consent. On April * they charged my credit card for another $100.

I contacted [redacted] and explained that I had explicitly told ** not to charge my credit card without my permission and she said she would have ** call me. Hours later I still did not hear from ** so I sent [redacted] another email stating that I wanted my account cancelled and I wanted the $100 refunded to my credit card.

[redacted] the manager calls me a few minutes later and tells me that because I had logged in and agreed to the $100 "rebill" that they would not refund my credit card but would give me the $97 worth of leads I had left. He said that in **'s notes he did not state that I had told him to cancel the rebill so he would not process the credit. He refused to listen to me and just kept stating that I had agreed and would not be receiving a credit.

I had agreed to the $100 rebill on March [redacted], then I tried to cancel again on March ** and was talked into trying it again by this ** person which I only agreed to if they wouldn't charge my credit card without my consent! Which they did anyway!Desired Settlement: Refund my credit card the $100 that you did not have authorization to charge

We have made several attempts to contact [redacted] to resolve her concerns.

Review: This company does not provide adequate alternatives to discontinue automatic/recurring billing. It is not an option to discontinue automatic billing electronically. The customer must contact a service representative via telephone and verbally request discontinuance. Telephone calls are not returned in a timely manner, if at all. I contacted my assigned representative on multiple occasions to express my concerns about the service I was purchasing and he failed to return my calls. When I tried to log onto the account online, my password had been disabled. Meanwhile my credit card was billed an additional $300 for continued service even though I specifically stated to the original Sales Representative, [redacted] ###-###-#### that I was NOT interested in continuing the service beyond the initial 30 days/# of leads I was purchasing. She advised at the initiation of this relationship that I had to call to discontinue service. I signed up to receive 3 qualified leads per day, I submitted requests to return a half dozen of those leads for not being legitimate leads. Rather than credit my account for the returned leads, this company continued to bill the account as if I were getting "GOOD" leads and subsequently billed my credit card for an additional $300. After multiple calls and messages left over the past month, I was finally connected with [redacted] (my assigned account rep) at length, he refused to acknowledge my concerns and refused to provide me with upper management contact information to take my complaint further.Desired Settlement: A refund of $300 that was billed to my credit card.

Review: They sell life insurance leads. I told this company on August **, 2015 not to recharge my account because the leads were not good. I called them, emailed them and texted them. Still they keep hitting my bank account for withdrawals in their favor.Desired Settlement: refund $300

Review: I have been purchasing leads from Precise Leads and have not been satisfied with the quality of leads. The process was that the company would debit my checking account when the funds in my lead balance reached a low level and then they would send more leads. I emailed and texted my account rep stating to cancel my account, not to send more leads and do not debit my checking account. My account was not cancelled, and I was debited the $100 and I received one or two leads.

I spoke to my rep and wanted my $100 put back into my account and she stated that she could not help me but a manager could. I asked to speak to her manager and this company seems to only have one manager and there was absolutely no way this person could speak to me because he was so very busy doing something else. She insisted that he would call me back.

That was September [redacted], today is the [redacted] and I have not received a call and the money has not been returned to my account.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my $100 replaced in to my checking account. I can't believe a business of this size first does not empower their employees to be more helpful; especially if they only have one manager (who is not available) to be able to resolve an issue.

Review: I ordered Medicare Leads from Precise Leads on 8-**-15. Was told during the sales pitch that a maximum of 4 other agents would receive these leads. Was told that I would have a personal customer service agent contact me at least every other day. Was told that I would get a max of 4 leads per day per my agreement. Here is what happened. I have received one call from my agent about the quality of the leads. That is it. I received 6 leads on 8-**, 7 leads on 8-**, and 6 leads on 8-**. This after telling me adamantly that I cannot work more than 4 leads per day. The biggest issue I have however, is the quality of the leads. I have been cussed at and told by more than 10 that they have had at least 30 agents call them within the last 24 hour period. I have had several say that they didn't request any information. I have had several tell me that they get VA benefits so would have no need for our benefits. These leads are no more than going through the phone book and gathering names and numbers. Precise Leads is a scam and they need to be shut down.Desired Settlement: I have tried to contact Tom B[redacted] after he left me a voicemail on Wednesday morning. I tried to call him twice on the same day and twice Thursday and twice Friday and he is not answering his phone. I want a full refund which is 600.00. These are not leads of interested people, they are names.

Sincerely,

Review: Cannot get the account cancelled and the money refunded. I have receive over 30 leads from these folks and ALLthe data they provide is either in error or is suspect. Each of the contacts I have been given either tell me that they did not go online and request a quote, or wonder why I am calling. The latest lead they sent me today was a "24 year old man, single, not married, and has a bachelor degree. Turns out he is a 48 year old married man that has daughter going off to college. And he did not request a quote."

I feel I have been lied to, and cannot trust these people at any turn. I have other lead services and they all have been verified and thoroughly checked out...this is not the case with Preciseleads. I tried contacting the company today to cancel and told I couldnt, that I would have to wait for the account representative to return (shes out today). What was interesting is that the person who sold me the service had a similar first name and she is out today!Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my money that I have spent over the past few weeks $600. I went through each of the 32 leads I was provided and except for the name and the phone number, NONE of the other information was correct.

Sincerely,

Horrible company with horrible customer service. They go in and turn on your leads without your knowledge. The bait and switch you into a higher bid.

Review: Precise leads sell Auto Insurance leads to insurance agents. They are very good at convincing people that there leads are the best in the market.Well they sell 10 cents leads for $7.00-$15.00.Where agents will only get No answers,Not interested, never applied for insurance quote.I have been buying insurance leads for a long time and never faced a problem where all the leads are not interested,no response,or never applied for a quote.

The best part is they take your credit card information, charge your credit card and then stop responding to your phone calls and emails.

If you will ask for refund they will tell you they have no cash refund policy which you read and accepted in terms and conditions when you first login into account.

So no refund all you can get is more garbage leads if you will apply for credit on your existing trashy leads.

If your trying to write policies with there insurance leads it is not going to happen.

It is a scam.

DON NOT BUY THERE LEADSDesired Settlement: Refund my money back I dont want your leads.

Review: I was going to buy life insurance leads. Sales rep told me my credit card would not be charged until I agreed to the Agreement and Credit Card Authorization. My credit card was charged $100 the very next day. When I called, I was told that I agreed with an online form at that time. Then they emailed it to me after the fact. I asked politely for a refund and was hung up on. Fraud, and more Fraud.

.

They agreed for me somehow with that form by making it look like I ok'd it.

I printed it out to read and I see why they take the liberty of agreeing for you. No one would ever agree to what I found in it.

My bank says that they will get my money back.Desired Settlement: Refund the money.

Sincerely,

Review: I agreed to purchase $300 in leads from the sales representative at Precise Leads. We agreed to have two profiles. One for Life leads, the other for medicare leads. I told them I wanted to try both types of leads and we would review and proceed from there. My account manager "Arthur D[redacted]" informed me that my credit card had to be on file and that it would be automatically renewed after my account balance reached a certain level. I expressed I didn't like that option, but I agreed to proceed to try the Medicare and Life leads. There was no limit per day that they could send per day. However, it was never implied they would drain my account all in one day a charge my card again. That's exactly what they did. The problem I have is that they sent me $250 worth of Life leads on the first day and no Medicare leads at all. They charged my card again without ever sending me one lead regarding medicare. We agreed on $300 would be spent on medicare and life leads and I could try them out. They did not honor that request and proceeded to bill me again. When I called them about it, Arthur refused to give me a refund and said it would have to be spent on leads. If they had given me medicare leads to try along with the life leads, I would understand, but they did not honor our original agreement. I did NOT want $300 worth of life leads and then another $300 of medicare leads. I feel that they position themselves to get out of situations such as this by saying you can not get a refund. It's ok to state that, but they have an obligation to fulfill the order the way I requested it. To make matters worse I had to return 1/3 of the leads they gave me and the rest were poor quality. I now have spent $600. I feel a fair resolution would be to credit back my $300 since they did not uphold the agreement of $300 of life and medicare leads. They flooded me with life leads in a matter of a few hours and billed me again. I will pay for the first $300 as I agreed to do, even though my order was NOT fulfilled properly. I don't feel like I should pay for the 2nd charge of $300.00 since the first was not done properly. That is not a good business.Desired Settlement: I should not have to pay for the 2nd charge since they did not fulfill my first order properly. I agree to pay for the original purchase even though the order was not fulfilled correctly. I desire the second charge for $300 to be refunded. Thank you,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. I had a good talk with Bo yesterday. However, I do expect them to follow through.

Review: Tried their services, agreed to pay the first $100 to see how I liked it. Every lead I got was a terrible lead. Most people I called asked me to not call again and they never wanted an auto quote. One lead did not even have a car to drive. Have used many lead services, and there is always a few in the mix that are like this, but every single lead from this site I got a hold of never wanted an auto quote and was very upset to be contacted. I receives a phone call from [redacted] 10/** asking how my services were. When I called back 10/** I left a message for him on the generic voicemail, stating I wanted my account paused and my card removed. The greeting when I called never allowed me to type in his extension to leave a messag on his phone, I must have called after hours. I called multiple times back and it always went to the same greeting and asking me to leave a message on the general voicemail. He never called back and I didnt notice till Monday 10/** when my credit card was charged another $100, I immediently called right back and again got the same message, never allowing me to type in his extension. I again left another general voice mail. I called again during business hours Tuesday 10/** and I was able to get to [redacted]'s voice mail where I left a message for him to call me back. When he finally did I explained the situation. He refused to credit my card back the $100 they just took from me without my persmision, after asking to have my card removed and my account paused. He was very rude and very stated he didnt get my messages so he wont do anything for me.Desired Settlement: I want the $100 taken from my account on 10/** refunded back to my credit card.

Sincerely,

I work for a major life insurance company and somehow Precise Leads got onto our preferred vendor list for life insurance leads, that was obviously a mistake and I am also making our internal partners aware of this mistake. If you sign up with Precise Leads you DO NOT have the option to stop your account from automatically refunding after the balance reaches a certain threshold. And, if you call your "account manager" to try to get them to turn it off they will not answer, or are unavailable and will place you on hold indefinitely. If you call customer service to get them to turn off your account they say the only person who can do that is your account manager, who I must reiterate, will never call you back. After trying for several days over the course of two weeks to have my account closed I eventually just called my credit card company and requested that they block Precise Leads as a merchant that is allowed to charge my card. Also, I would be remiss if I didn't note that every lead that I received from this company, with zero exceptions, was either not in the market or in very poor health and uninsurable or just couldn't afford what it would cost. Overall, terrible experience. There are much better vendors out there guys!

Precise Leads is a scam, they will continue to charge your card for services even after you cancel their service. They will ignore your calls and pretend they never got your messages when you try and cancel.

Review: I received very poor quality leads.

High percentage were unworkable/ invalid ph # bad emails, phony names

I was assured they would improve. They did not

I finally spoke to a manager in Columbus Ohio and was

promised a refund of balance in my account $ 200.00

On follow-up 3 weeks later he denied making the promised and said they

would continue to send leads until account was zero

[redacted]Desired Settlement: I want to have the last withdrawal from my credit card refunded $ 200.00

Sincerely,

Review: Precise leads representative [redacted] have came to my office and provided me with the information that they are providing live time leads. After asking him several times and he assuring me that all their leads are live time leads, I agreed to try their leads. The first day that I received 5 leads. 2 of the customers told me that they had asked for that information weeks ago and they already have got their insurance with another agent. The other 3 leads had wrong information and were bogus.I called [redacted] and left a message for him, however he did not return my calls. Another gentleman from customer service called me and I asked him to stop the leads and cancel the contract and refund the full amount to my credit card because they did not tell me the truth and this was fraud. Another gentleman name [redacted] called me and wanted to keep my business. Again I told him that I dont want to continue with this and we need to cancel and provide me with the full refund to my account. They proceeded only not to cancel my account but to charge my card again and telling me that they do not have a refund policy and cannot give me my money back. They were not authorized to make any charges on my account. What they do is fraud. They lie; take money even after canceling and not refunding the money back.Desired Settlement: refund the full amount back to my account

Review: I was promised 10-20 final expense insurance leads to work in my area of Florida per week. I explained that the reason I was searching for an different source of leads was that my current lead source at the time could not produce enough leads per week.

Precise Leads only provided a couple of final expense leads over several weeks. When I complained, they convinced me to try regular life insurance leads with filters. These prospects were wanting products that I do not sell. I wasted several hundred dollars on leads that were not the type I needed.Desired Settlement: Refund the $325.15 credit balance that I currently have prepaid to them and which has been sitting in their account for weeks. I have been forced to take a different job and am no longer selling insurance.

Dear Revdex.com, We have spoken to [redacted] in regards to this matter. a check was on 12/**/14 in the amount of $300.

Review: An agent called and told me about the company, how great it was, in business for 10+ years etc. Convinced me that the leads I would receive would be top notch, real-time leads. My first day receiving leads, I received 9 leads. 2 of them were wrong numbers, 1 picked up stating she had not inquired about insurance anytime recently, 1 picked up saying it was the wrong number and no such person available, 1 emailed back the next day saying it was a mistake and remove from contact list, 1 picked up saying her wife (the lead) was in Ohio for work for over 2 months and nobody had inquired about insurance; the rest just didnt answer. From just one day, of 9 leads, you can already tell that these were not "real-time"Desired Settlement: At this point, I just want what I paid for, to receive HIGH QUALITY LEADS IN REAL TIME. If someone is checking for insurance and puts in a number, they should theoretically be there to pick up the phone. If this company can't fulfill what they promise, I need a refund of at least my initial deposit of $300. I can't even replace all the time I've spent calling these "leads" repeatedly, emailing them, and not to mention filing this complaint since they will not offer a refund other than more bogus leads.

Consumer

Response:

The leads are not as described. I was almost forced to open an account with them and was pressured to put in $300 to receive the 35% bonus, that you only get upon SECOND payment. I have received 9 leads on my first day, half of them were not real time, they explained that they were not looking for insurance // wrong number. The other half of the contacts were invalid. Phone disconnected, emails didn't work. The company provided very poor quality leads to me and I want to resolve this issue ASAP before they AUTOMATICALLY rebill me for another $300.

Sincerely,

Review: First of all....How does a business with over 40 complaints in 36 months maintain an A+ Rating by the Revdex.com? Who is the watch dog keeping an eye on the Revdex.com?

They will tell you that the lead is from someone that just went on line moments ago requesting a quote. This is not the case. Many of the people said they didn't go on at all, let alone that day. Some said they went on line a few weeks, months & in one case the guy said 2 years ago.

What some people told me was that they got a call from someone that asked them some questions about the quote that they had requested in the past, then they start getting calls to take a quote.

So like others have stated, yes, they sell bogus leads that are dated by week, months & yes, Years! I was charged for a "TEST" lead. I was charged for leads from people that didn't ask for a quote & was told by the account rep to to "Get Creative" with the people that didn't ask for a quote. Isn't that the Phone book? I don't have to pay for that! Drop $300.00 & over 70% were from people that DID NOT REQUEST A QUOTE! Pretty simple right, They didn't ask for it so why not credit it? Why charge me for a "test" lead? They also have a "SOFT" cap on returns? So you return to much garbage & they start to auto deny.Desired Settlement: credit for each of the leads that I requested a credit for & in it's place a lead from a person that just went on line & requested the quote, LIKE THEY ADVERTISE.
