Precise Leads, Inc. Reviews (185)

They are dishonest and misleading in all they do stay away from them

Review: #1 - I received a lead that got on the call 23 seconds after I was on the line . I canceled the call at 1:41 (101 seconds) due to autism disqualification. The lead was on the line for 78 secs. They sent me their recording which included their time clock starting before I even answered the phone...how bogus is that??? They told me that I have 90 seconds to qualify the customer...which means that the clock should not start until both the customer and I are on the line together. They will not refund this lead.

#2- The lead information isn't provided until the call has ended. What is the point of that? I should be able to view the lead info so that I can qualify them faster. The first time I mentioned this to the agent, he said that he made an adjustment to my account and it should be all good. It didn't fix anything. The agent then told me that I was told previously that I had to have a CRM (which he NEVER told me that I had to have to get the leads real time) and then when I asked him if it mattered which one I used, he never responded.

#3 I was ALSO charged for a lead two months ago that was supposed to get refunded. It had a Louisiana phone number but a Georgia address, where I'm not licensed and they sent it to me anyway. That was recorded on the lead info they sent me (after the call) so they knew they shouldn't have sent it to me, and did so anyways and still did not refund me....after specifically saying they would multiple times.

#4 The support ticket says resolved, when they never even tried to solve the problem.Desired Settlement: I either want the remaining money in my account refunded back to me, or I want those two leads credited back to my account and I will use the rest of my account balance.

Review: Received unwanted phone call from Taylor Gross on 10/*/15 trying to sell me insurance leads. Agreeded to give his business a try and they charged my credit card $100.00. After charging my credit card they sent me an e mail informing me I jhad to watch a video before they would send me my leads. Contacted precise leads and told them I did not have any data availible to watch their video and to cancel my account and credit my credit card the $100.00 they charged me. Precise Leads never provided me a copy of their contract or terms of conditions. I cancel my order 15 minutes after they charged my cfredit card well within the 3 day law to cancel a contract. Now my credit card company is going to file a report on my credit report for refusing to pay the $100.00 for services I never received!Desired Settlement: Credit my credit card for the $100.00 I was charged for services never received!

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Spoke to representative from Precise Leads named Tom B[redacted], explained to him that I had ordered leads on Oct. *, 2015 for the Medicare Supplement open enrollment period from Oct. **, 2015 until December *, 2015, as of todays date Dec. **, 2015 I have received no leads from this company. As I told Mr. B[redacted], the open enrollment period has now passed and I have received no leads and they need to credit my credit card the $100.00 for leads I purchased and never received. Since this has been going on now for over two months, it seems quite clear to me Precise Leads has no intention of resolving this mater or they would have done so by now. I would certainly not recommend doing business with these folks since the take your money and give you nothing in return!

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Response:

Good Morning, We have contacted [redacted] and resolved his concern.

Review: I am an insurance agent and we wanted to try Precise Leads. I initially spoke with one of there representative and he signed us up to get started. After reviewing complaints on the internet and their services we decided we did not want to try them. I called the very next day, our account had not been set up yet and was not active. I was told we could not cancel and that we had to use the $300 they took from us the day before. I was not happy with that answer but the rep assured me that their lead program was everything he had sold me on. One of our main concerns was lead returns. He told me that the leads were pretty much processed immediately and that we would get credit for any lead that did not meet our filters. First of all that was an incorrect statement. It takes them up to 7 days to return a lead. This upset me because I would have never signed up knowing this was the process. I was mislead. Once I realized this was how things worked I contacted Precise Leads to cancel. A manager called and agreed to make some changes to our account if we would stay with them. One of the things was the number of leads we were receiving. He adjusted that and put a home owner filter on the account too. We only wanted 2 leads a day and we were once again told that they had to set it up for 5 a day but that we would not get that many. Well after one week we had received over 20 leads. The first few we returned they gave us credit with no issues but then once we wanted to cancel they started to disapprove our returns. They were all legitimate returns from people who did not meet our filters. I contacted my rep with proof that the leads were bad and got no response after several emails. Another manger called and agreed to cancel our account. We then were getting leads that were no getting delivered to my email address and that I had no idea we even received these leads until I happened to look into our account on their website. Do not use this company. They are not honest about what you are getting and they will not accept returns that are legitimate bad leads that should receive credit.. Very bad practices and very misleading in their pitch.Desired Settlement: We would like the rest of our money back which was $116 before they started giving us leads that were not being delivered to us. Plus we want our money back for the three leads that they disapproved that should have been approved because they did not meet our filters.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], They did contact me but would not give us our money back. I agreed to finish out the service with leads, only because I didn't want to deal with them anymore and just want to get it over with. I would never do business with the company and would suggest that others beware. We still had 3 leads that they refused to accept and give us credit for. They are not easy to deal with and I am not happy about their response and resolution but it is not worth my time to fight with them over less than $100. They clearly don't care if their customers are happy or not.

Sincerely,

Review: I signed up with Precise Leads to receive Real-Time Life Insurance Leads. I was told these were people who had just requested information about Life Insurance. The salesperson told me to setup a system to contact them by text right away because they were hot leads and I wanted make contact as soon as possible while the interest was high. Their advertisement also say "Real-time" leads. Unfortunately I contacted each lead by text, email and phone and the five or so people I got on the phone had either no recollection of requesting Life Insurance information at any time (quite a few of them were young people who were single with no children - and therefore no reason for needing life insurance) or they had gotten insurance a long time ago - so definitely not a "real-time" lead. I received 0 response from the remainder and at least 5 were not good phone numbers.

Also, my setup was supposed to start out with $200 from which they would deduct the cost of the leads, $16.95/lead and then stop until the first and the [redacted] of the month to charge $100/bimonthly period. What they did however, was go over $100 so that when I called to cancel due to not getting the kind of leads that I was promised and that were advertised, my account manager, Rich M[redacted] told me I could not cancel because my account was in the negative and that had to be taken care of first. I explained to him that I was told my account would only be charged for the amount of money that was in there and then stop, but he would not listen. When I asked him about all the young single childless leads that were definitely not the type of people who would be requesting information about life insurance he could not answer and actually told me he had spoken to two of my leads and that they had told him that they had filled out a request form, even though they told me they didn't. As for example one was a woman who told me she didn't need insurance because she gets life insurance through her husband at work, another had had insurance for a long time and was not needing any other insurance and was confused about why I was calling and another was 23 years old single and no children and had no idea why I would be calling. After speaking with Rich M[redacted], I requested a list of the leads showing when they filled out a request form and I asked him to have a manager call me - neither of these requests were fulfilled. I thought that if these people were real-time leads - he should be able to provide that information. I get real-time business leads from my company and they come in any time of day that the request actually comes in - so I know how real-time leads work! I don't know if they actually have any "real-time" leads, but I know that I did not get them.Desired Settlement: I request my original investment back of $200, since they did not provide what they were claiming to provide, either verbally or in their advertising and I request an adjustment of the $100 overcharge that should never have been done in the first place for a bi-monthly billing that should not have been billed until 04/** anyway.

Response:

Since I never received the service I paid for I filed a complaint with the bank, directly with the company Precise Leads, and with the Revdex.com. When Precise Leads had said they agreed with my complaint and it was resolved I thought they had agreed to crediting my account but now they are requesting that money back from the bank even though I never received what I paid for.

Business

Response:

[redacted], I received a notification that you have reopened your Revdex.com complaint. I would like to clarify the billing on your account: You signed up for a Premium Bi Monthly account. This means you made an initial deposit of $200 dollars into your account. Once the balance in the account went below the price per lead, the account would continue to send you leads until your account reached a max due balance of $100. This balance would be charged on the [redacted] and [redacted] of each month. A total of 22 leads were sent to your account (22 x $16.95 = $372.90). You submitted 7 leads for return that were all approved: (7 x $16.95= $118.65). That leaves a total due of ( $372.90 - $118.65 = $254.25). $200 was the initial deposit funded into the account so that leaves a balance due of $54.25 As discussed, the due balance of$ 54.25 was removed and not charged to your account. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further with you. Please let me know your availability so we can schedule a call.

Review: When sold my account through Representative [redacted] at Precise leads I was notified that invalid/bad leads that I was purchasing would be returned if they were 1) duplicated, including from another vendor 2) already a cus[redacted]er with my company 3) invalid/bad/wrong/disconnected phone number 4) the lead stated that they did not request or want a quote. I requested credit with Precise leads for the leads that I received that were bad and met the listed return guidelines and they were denied. The [redacted], stated that he could not control if a customer lies on the application or lies to me and that I could not be credited because of that. So in the case of the client who is already with my company, though I can present valid documentation showing that they were with my company, I would not be credited because on the application they listed a different company. In the case where a person told me that they did not request a lead, I was told that Precise Leads had called that client who told them that they lied to me but was in fact shopping for a quote, I could not be credited that either. The cases where the phone number was not valid or we were unable to contact the lead after multiple days and attempts I was denied that credit as well. In the end I spent money for leads that were not any good and Precise leads would not stand behind their product and credit those that were not good per the agreement that I signed on for.Desired Settlement: Because Precise leads did not deliver on their agreement the value of their leads and the credit to my account for those I had that met the guidlines for a credit per [redacted] I want a financial reibmursement and not more bad leads given to me. At the time of this request Precise Leads had over $88 in credit and $63.84, totalling $152.62, in bad leads not credited in an account that I want back in cash/credit.

Review: On Thursday September **, 2015 I [redacted] contacted Precise Leads by phone. I was told that the phone conversation was being recorded, at that time I shared that I was Looking to purchase Direct Mailing Leads for Final Expense Life Insurance, the salesman told me that they do not do Direct mailing but assured me that their product: Internet Leads were better than Direct Mailing. He went onto tell me that for my $300.00 I would get Final Expense Leads at $16.95 per new lead (19 leads) and they were running some special which I would get free older leads which would average out to around 70 leads. In good faith I decided to give them a try, I gave them my banking information and was told someone in their support office would contact me within 24-48 hours. I did not talk with any one until the following Monday. On Monday September **, 2015 I spoke with Tom B[redacted] on the phone (another recorded conversation) to what he called “a walk thru” concerning the lead order. Things quickly went from bad to worse, after receiving 3 leads for Term Insurance and/or very large whole life Insurance leads I realized Precise Leads did not have Final Expense leads, which I was led to believe they did. I am not contracted to sell those types of life Insurance so I canceled my order and requested my money back. Tom B[redacted] wrote that I agreed to only get a refund in leads and that I was under contract. He went onto write, “he would gladly build me a Final Expense profile”, why wasn’t that done day one? I reluctantly agreed because Mr. B[redacted] wouldn’t refund my money. Days went by I never received any Final Expense leads. At that point I was done; I will not continue to do business with such a dishonest Company.

September **, 2015 was my only verbal communication with Tom B[redacted] ,from that time on I emailed him, which I have 30 emails concerning this complaint, I believe that Precise Lead Company mislead me, I have an email which Tom B[redacted] writes that “We do sell Final Expense leads, however we do not generate many of them”. I was not told this at my first conversation, If so I would have never done business with this company, since I am only contracted to sell Final Expense Life Insurance not other Life Insurance . I have asked several times for my money back as well as asked for the initial recorded conversation . Tom B[redacted] wrote after the 3rd request, “I do not have direct access to sales reps’calls”. How convenient for Mr. B[redacted].

When I looked up Precise lead company with the Revdex.com it was no great surprise I am not alone in my complaints, I believe my complaint will be number 25 or 26. I wish I would have checked this company out before I did business with them. At this time very least I would very much like my money back so I can order Leads .

Sincerely,

[redacted]Desired Settlement: Refund $300

Review: First off this company also fraudulently charged my credit card.

In October of 2014 I decided to give precise leads a try, I had used them a couple of years ago very briefly and they were ok. They seemed to have an awesome offer, if I spent $1000 they would give me $500 in free leads.

I decided to get leads from them for Medicare Supplements (People turning 65) as I had done before. Not sure if management changed or what but as soon as I started receiving leads I noticed 98% of them were not even

looking for Medicare Insurance, most weren't even turning 65 they were in their 20's and 30's and said they had just filled out a form online for a free gift card or play station. I immediately called and spoke to [redacted] at precise

leads and he told me it must of been a bad batch and they would rectify it. They strung me along for a couple of months saying they would fix it before I finally had enough and canceled my account and was told by [redacted] that I would

receive a full refund, not noticing they had charged my card for another $1000!!!! I was into this for $2000 now and NEVER gave them permission to charge my card again!!!!. I called them back again and was told they don't give

refunds and that [redacted] had made a mistake in telling me this. I then became angry and told them that I would hire an attorney to handle this, Rich became rude and said is that a threat? I have never been so upset with a company

in my life. I also went to [redacted] report and several other sites like this and found hundreds of people just like me whom Precise Leads had done the same thing to.

The only ones who got their money back were the ones who complained to the Revdex.com so that is were I stand now.

I don't know what happened to them, they were a better company years ago but they are not the same anymore.Desired Settlement: Complete refund of $2000 to my Credit Card.

Review: Precise Leads has been sending Medicare and Life Leads that are unreal, most of the contacts are people very angry that they are being contacted to offer insurance

Some other leads are dead phone numbers that no one ever pick up

I feel that is very illegal that in my account online I don't have the option to cancel payment on my CC or to remove my Credit Card from their system... I can only add a new one, Very convenient for them!

Is several complaints on the internet about this company for example: [redacted] WARNING! For all the insurance agents out there, who are searching for the right company to buy senior insurance leads online, please stay away from this company as they will rip you off, steal your money and leave you with a tone of frustration. Is this possible that in today’s world, there are companies who do not respect anything; this company is not sticking to the CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) guidelines and is falsely advertising itself in order to lure all the insurance agents in the world. Even further, they are telemarketing in order to get the leads, which they sell.

• A group of illegal immigrants is in charge of this company, you may experience miscommunication problems, and more often than not, they will not return your phone calls or your emails. I have to draw attention to all the consequences that you, as a potential victim of this company will experience. You have to pay attention as they will stick you with poor quality leads, often the people who you are supposed to call, will be senile or mentally incapable. Most of the leads might even be for the other area, and not for the one that you placed an order for. When you experience this and you want to communicate your problems to the company, rest assured, there would be no one who you can talk to.

• Precise Leads representatives will avoid you as much as they can, until you finally catch them. And after you have caught them and asked for the refund, since you will be sick and tired of bad leads, they will only tell you that it is their policy not to provide any refunds and that you signed this kind of contract. It is your fault since you did not read the fine print. All your attempts to try and reason with them will be in vain, and your money is as good as gone, since they will never return it to you. I cannot believe that authorities are letting this happen. This rip-off should be stopped immediately. My advice to all the rookies as well as the more experienced insurance agents is to stop dealing with this fraudulent company. Stop doing business with them, as it can only result in you losing all your money and developing a bad reputation. Furthermore, their leads do not come in any type of quality. They charge $20 dollars for every phone lead. NO WONDER, I guess I received exactly what I paid for it, I will never buy such a cheap leads.

For all the interested parties who are looking for the high quality leads, I advise you to try out any other telemarketing or lead company with higher or even high lead cost, who has a friendly stuff and professional services. Hopefully you will not experience problems, such as the ones I found with Precise Leads. There will be no fuss over order, all the appointments will be scheduled according to your demands and they will be of high quality. No bad quality leads, prospects should be interested in your products, unlike leads that are provided by Precise Leads. [redacted] Precise Leads, Inc. The Precise leads Team, Precise Leads ARE A RIP OFF SCAM COMPANY THEY CLAIM TO PROVIDE SPECIALIZED LEAD SERVICES FOR INSURANCE ALL BOGUS New York, New York

Precise Leads, Inc. is a scam company. They claim to have the technology and marketing to provide specialized and exclusive leads for insurance agencies, but they are liars. I signed up with them and they only provided me with 2 leads in a month and they were bad leads. Trust me do your own marketing or find a different company to deal with as these guys are crooks.Desired Settlement: I want to cancel my account with precise leads in full and I want my $300 dollars in full return to my credit cars

Sincerely,

Review: I will be returning to active-duty military and will be shutting down my insurance agency at the end of May. I contacted Precise Leads to request a refund for the remaining balance on my account. Approximate balance is $350. I also have approximately 55 credits for bad leads that were returned. I was told that per the contract I can only receive a "refund" in the form of leads and that I cannot get my money back for the remaining balance. Receiving leads will not do me or my business any good. First of all, in the time that I have done business with the company, they have provided very few leads and many were bad and returned for credit. The lead flow I received was much smaller than I was told when I initially agreed to do business with the company. Of my $500 initial deposit in July 2014, I still have a $350 outstanding balance! That's 10 months! With a lead flow that small, the only way they could send me $350 worth of leads now is to significantly expand the marketing area into territories that I do not serve and did not agree to in our initial contract. Additionally, I am closing down my business so none of those leads they would send to me could actually be marketed to. I have worked with other lead companies and advertisers that have been very supportive and understanding of my situation and have refunded me or cancelled contracts without penalty due to my return to active-duty military service. I wish that Precise Leads would do the same. I have asked multiple times to talk to somebody within the company who has the ability to issue a refund in the form of a check or credit card refund and I was told that their hands are tied and I'd be wasting my time trying to talk with anyone else.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my remaining balance of approximately $350 in the form of a check or credit to my credit card. I am not concerned about the 55 lead credit that I also have. I do not desire a refund in the form of additional leads.

Sincerely,

Review: I was recommended to use Precise Leads from my company USA Benefits Group after a National Sales call presentation. This company said they were leaders in helping Insurance Agents get quality leads and prospects for agents. They offered a special webpage for [redacted] agents and promised special pricing. I was contacted by [redacted] a sales representative. I told him that I had a negative experience with my previous lead company and I asked specifically about the contact ratio with leads, he said it was higher than the national average and he said many agents were having great success is contacting leads and making sales with his company. He charged my credit card for $300 and promised $150 if free leads if I re-funded my account after the first funds where spent. The national sales call mentioned no contract, but after speaking with the sales rep it became clear they would continue billing whenever my account reached a $100 of funding. The first leads all proved to be worthless as no one answered any of the calls. I asked to speak with my [redacted] and was told that it was normal and that many agents do not contact many of the leads. In fact this was NOT told to me by my sales rep [redacted], as it was a troubling issue with the previous company, and he assured me his company had a much better record of helping agents succeed with leads that would be available and were good leads. I asked for my refund, and was told of a NO-REFUND policy from the company, something I was not told over the phone during my sign up, but was apparently hidden in the contract they had me sign right away. A No refund policy was never mentioned by my sales agent. I asked [redacted] via emails and phone calls to refund my account, he changed my account to exclusive leads, but stated I that according to my contract with [redacted] that I had to maintain a minimum of 20 leads per week or the cost per lead would increase. As a newer insurance agent I am amazed at how this company can sell you a service, and never deliver that service and threaten to charge you more for bad leads if you do not keep funding your non-contract account. Then they fight you every step of the way and refuse to refund almost every lead you return. They do not approve returns when every call goes to voice mail, only when it is a bad number, and that process seems to take a long time as well. I did contact two leads of my latest batch and they already had insurance and were not interested, so that is defined as a real lead? Since I made contact they will not of course refund these leads as well. They keep explaining it is just a number game, and that successful agents must spend extremely large amounts of money on total leads in order to succeed. Meanwhile they never offer refunds and spend all your time by sending you one bad lead after another. Out of 24 leads provided from this company I have actually spoken to 4 people, two had insurance already and were not interested, and two people where calling in for different products other than health insurance. This company in my opinion has not provided the quality service it advertised itself to provide. The NO REFUND policy is hidden in the contract and never mentioned by the sales reps, and the amount of contact with leads was misrepresented to me as well, as it was the primary question I asked about before agreeing to sign up. I have asked many times for a refund and still I get bad lead after bad lead delivered to my account. The time spent on the phone and emails is valuable,, but the idea that we are being sold false leads and charged large amounts of money is most bothersome to me. Please help me resolve this issue with this lead company.Desired Settlement: Refund my account as all the leads are totally worthless and just waste my valuable time as an agent trying to speak with real customers. There is NO WAY this high of a percentage of people whose phone numbers always go to voice mail is not by accident, and the people I spoke to that already had insurance had already been sold insurance, yet these were sold to me as exclusive leads. This industry needs regulations imposed to keep the agents protected from companies praying on sales people looking for honest leads.

Sincerely,

Review: Company promised verified leads for potentials costumers looking to buy Life insurance. The majority of the leads sent to me by the company was for Auto insurance not for what I have purchased. I have called the [redacted] and explain the situation and she advised to dispute the leads in that way they can replace those leads with another one but the reality is that they kept sending bogus leads no verified and kept charging me to the point that I got very fustrated and called to cancel the account. The used the tactic of intimidation saying that in order to close the account I have to pay $60 for the bogus and waste of time leads they have sent me. I have already paid $100 in leads which I have not seen any results nor return of my investment.

I have been in the industry since 2005 and I have never seen a rip off company sucking your money for bad leads.Desired Settlement: They can keep the $100 that I have already paid and that is it. I do not want to do business with them any longer. No phone calls or emails of any kind.

Dear Revdex.com, We have made several attempts to contact [redacted] to discuss this matter. [redacted] account auto funded on 1/**/15 in the amount of $100. As a resolution to this matter we have processed a refund in the amount of $100.

Beware of this company. they are running a fraudulant operation. Most of their leads are fake and are obtain through cookies. they sent me 10 leads, and 9 out of the 10 people said they never filled out anything online nor requested the information.

And the people always inquired how I got their phone numbers.

on their website and training video, they make it seem like it's very easy and simple to return bad leads. but when I tried to return the bad leads, I got a call from one of their employees (who acted as if he was John Gotti) threatning me on the phone and trying to convince me the leads were good. so I called the leads with him on three-way so he can hear for himself that the people have no idea how I got their information. and he still insisted that I pay for the bad leads. for the next 5 days, I received non-stop phone calls from them, all day and night hours threatning me to pay up. So I went and did a little research and found out that I'm not the only agent in my group that burned by them. please stay away from Precise leads. you're been warned.

Review: This company claimed that the leads were "scrubbed," but we received a lead from a [redacted], and someone from the company actually had the gall to tell us to check if this was the actual name (and the email in the lead had a totally different first and last name in addition to the obviousness that [redacted] was not the individual's name). In addition, all of the leads were poor quality. I just find it necessary to warn other professionals so they avoid this company at all costs.

Response:

We have made several attempts to work with [redacted]. We requested that [redacted] submit the leads for review. Only 1 leads was submitted and approved. In order to resolve this issue we have refunded [redacted] $100. Attached is the receipt for the $100 refund.

Review: I was told if I signed up with Precise leads I would see one to two more sales per month more than I was getting from other vendors and that I would get 100 matching credit on my first order. So I gave them $600 and they said oh now you will get a matching credit with your next deposit. So I had too deposit another $600 to get $600. Now if my math is correct I deposited $1,200 and got $600, now that does not seem like a 100% match. After trying their lead service for months and seeing low quality leads and no sales I asked to close the account. I was told my account manager would need to do it and he would call me. Several days go by no calls, so I called back and was told the same thing, again no call back. Then I emailed them and then a day later I got a call. Said they could close the account but the credit on my account I could not get back. I could get in leads, but not the money. I said the leads were terrible and they offered to improve the quality and type of leads. Why would they not do that from the get go??? Why only after I asked to close the account do they offer better leads??? They said their leads where better than their competitors from the get go. Now only after I asked to close the account are they offering to improve them. So all that money wasted on bad leads when I could of had better leads. As a small business I need to leverage my cash flow and now I have wasted money on a company that said they were different and better. Yeah there different, not in the good way. They were smooth talkers and high pressure to get me to sign up but then when I needed service was like no one is home. Getting service took days. Now that I want to end the relationship they want to prolong it, instead of giving me my money back they want to give me more bad leads and poor service.Desired Settlement: I would like the account closed and my money returned.

Response:

Dear Revdex.com, I refund of $300.25 was already processed on 10/**/14. This was the the remaining funds in the account.

Review: I had been contacted by a representative of Precise Leads to try out their referral lead program. I agreed to set up an account and fund it with $300 using my credit card. Their program is set up to auto-rebill that amount when your account balance reaches $75. After trying out the service for a few weeks I was not satisfied so I contacted me account manager Rich M[redacted] to cancel my account. Instead of cancelling my account we agreed to lower the auto re-bill amount to $100 and to set the account balance for auto-rebill to $25 instead of $75 to give the program a little more time before cancelling. I agreed to these terms. On June [redacted] my account was auto re-billed for $300 even those the account balance was only at $74.65. When I contacted Rich M[redacted] I told him that I did not authorize $300 nor re-billing at $75 account balance and that I wanted a refund and to close my account. When he called me back he assured me that the $300 would be refunded due to the error and that he would close my account. When an account is closed the remaining balance of the account is supposed to be paid out in leads. I was averaging 3-5 leads per week. When I hadn't received any leads in almost 30 days I followed up on my account (July [redacted]). It then that I saw that there was a charge for $100 on my account and credit card statement. I then called Rich back to get a resolution. On July [redacted] I received a phone call from Tom B[redacted] client resolution specialist to resolve the matter. I explained the situation to him. He stated because I had agreed to be re-billed at $100 that I would not receive a refund at that amount even though the re-billing happened at a level that I did not agree upon. When I stated that Rich said I would receive a full refund Tom's statement was "oh, that changes things." (All phone calls should be recorded according to the automated answering system.) The next day I received an email stating I would not get the $100 refunded even though in the email it is stated by Tom that I was re-billed early and the re-billing would've happened after a few more leads, which of course hadn't happened yet. I have saved these emails and will forward them as necessary. I have offered them chances to make this right without bring the Revdex.com into this and their stance is firm. No refund of $100 even though they acknowledge that the re-billing happened early before the agreed upon account balance. The latest response was that I should have cancelled my account on June [redacted], but there was no need to as I had over $100 in my account and the re-billing was not scheduled until my account reached $25. I was monitoring my account daily and without a change in the quality of leads would have cancelled before my auto-rebilling happened, but since Precise Leads chose to re-bill me early.Desired Settlement: Refund of $100 to be credited to my card on file or a check for $100. Either is fine.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Precise Leads stated that they have tried to contact me in regards to the complaint, but I have no missed calls or messages from them on my cell phone, nor was there any message left on my work voicemail or messages left with my 2 secretaries that are always here during normal business hours M-F. I do not believe that Precise Leads has may any effort to contact me on this manner or they would have at minimum left a message with one of my secretaries that they have been trying to get a hold me and need a call back.Thank You!Brent P[redacted]Mutual of Omaha[redacted]###-###-####

Review: I was a Financial Services Agent for [redacted] and provided insurance as part of my planning. I had reached out to Precise Leads looking for Insurance Leads. After speaking with my Account Rep, Danielle P[redacted], I was assured I would be receiving brand new leads from people who were not given incentives to provide information and who were actively looking to purchase Life Insurance. I was told my initial deposit had to be for $600 and when my account fell to a certain level I would be charged another $600 until I canceled. As I received the leads I began to realize that many of the leads I was getting were from people who did not remember requesting insurance information or if they did remember they had requested it a long time ago which was curious to me since Danielle had told me they were being sent to me as people went online looking for the information. Long story short I did not make a single sale on the first $600 so I called Danielle and explained to her my situation. She provided what seemed to be a reasonable answer and said she would eliminate some of the territory and ramp up some of the better zipcodes and talked me in to trying it for another $600. (my first mistake). As that round of leads began to expire I called her again and said that I didn't think this was working for me and said I would like to cancel my account. She went into sales mode and asked me questions as to how I attempted to contact the leads, how often, do I send text messages to them and suggested I try some of the tips she was giving me and also to try some different zipcodes again. So I decided to give it a little more time. Well, much to my surprise, I was charged another $600 (total $1800 without a single sale) only a few days later and now I was done. I called Danielle to cancel. She went on to explain to me that she would have no problem cancelling the account but that I had 17 leads credited to me and I should just give them a try since they were already paid for and what did I have to lose. She said she would review the account and try to get me some better leads or zipcodes or whatever to generate some revenue for me to hopefully keep me as a client. At about the 13th lead I called her again to cancel and got her voicemail, I left a message to call me with my phone number and didn't get a call back. 2 days later I called again and no call back. Those calls took placeon a Tuesday and then again on Thursday the same week. At that time I had taken on another career and left the Insurance industry. The following week I noticed I had been charged again for another $600 and when I went to the website for Precise Leads and logged in I noticed Danielle was no longer listed as my account manager, it was now Wenddell. So I explained to Wenddell what was happening, that I had called Danielle to cancel and how she sold me to continue and give the 17 credited leads one last chance, how I tried calling her 2 times the week before to make sure my account was being cancelled and how I am leaving the business and that she never called me back and that I was charged again. He asked me if I wanted to cancel which kind of shocked me but I said YES, of course I want to cancel I am no longer selling Insurance. So he cancelled my account but did not credit the $600 back to me. He told me I would need to speak to a supervisor and he that he was not available at that time but he would have him call as soon as he became available, I think he said by the end of business that day. I have made several calls to Wenddell and every time I call the supervisor is in a meeting and he will call you back. Now, as I am writing this it has been 3 weeks since I first asked to speak with a supervisor, I still have not spoken to a supervisor, they still have my money and I am completely frustrated with this company. I asked what would they do with my $600 since they tell me they can only disperse the funds in the form of leads and since I am no longer in the industry, how could I get my money back. I was never given a straight answer so it seems the company is hoping to just keep the money as profit. I told them as unhappy as I am with the service they provided that it was my fault for signing up with them in the first place and that all I wanted was the last $600 they charged me since I am no longer receiving leads from them and quite frankly should never have been charged in the first place. They say they will not refund that money to me per their agreement that I signed. Now I am unable to speak with Danielle, I am unable to get a supervisor to speak with me and my account manager is doing a tap dance around my complaints.Desired Settlement: I want the last $600 they charged me refunded to my account.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

No one from precise leads has contacted me. In fact I have been waiting for a call from one of their supervisors for more than 2 months and I have made no fewer than 10 requests to speak with a supervisor from Precise Leads and no one has never made a response to me. I am not satisfied with their response. Just 2 weeks ago, after I had been assured by my contact at Preside Leads that my account had been closed for 2 months, I was sent another lead and this time charged $60 for it. I want my account closed and a refund of my $600 that I was charged erroneously. [redacted]
