MrLambert's Olympus Stylus DIGITAL SW was received at Precision Camera Repair on 4/4/14. As requested for repairs and seal maintenance this unit was sent in pre-authorized
through PayPal for $under transaction ID ***, there was no charge made to the customer's card at this time. On 4/it was determined that this unit could not be serviced as it was beyond economical repair due to corrosion damage. At this time the Stylus DIGITAL SW was returned unrepaired to the customer with a coupon offering 20% off of the purchase of another camera on Olympus' website as a courtesy. As there was no repair or service completed this customer's pre-authorization was voided on 4/and no payment was collected

We received Mr*** *** *** ** *** ** for repair on 2/05/2015. *** *** shipped us a *** *** ** *** ** along with an ** *** *** * ** ***
lensWe shipped the camera back to *** ***'s service center in *** *** who then shipped it to the store where *** *** dropped it
off. We returned the camera back
unrepaired as the paperwork *** *** sent in did NOT match was receivedThey
listed the model as a " *** *** ***." Per our contract with *** *** when the
paperwork does not match the unit that was received we are to return the unit
unrepaired back to the store. They in
turn correct the paperwork and resend the camera back to us
We have never received the camera
back since it was originally here in early February 2015. We would be more than happy for *** *** to
return the camera to *** *** with the correct paperwork for a complete repair
There was also no communication with *** *** regarding the return of this
equipment or prioritization of the repairOnce again we can only assume that
this communication was between the *** *** store and the *** *** service
centerAs we mentioned above the equipment was never returned to Precision
Camera so we have to make the final assumption that the *** *** Service Center
shipped the unit directly to the store instead of returning the unit to
PrecisionAs the customer is not making a request from Precision Camera we
feel this complaint should be closedHowever we’d like the customer to know
that Precision Camera would be happy to expedite the repair of their equipment
if it’s returned to us by *** ***

They are offering what they should have done from the very beginning.
I am a professional photographerOn my work I always need my cameras with meThey lost it for a month, causing me lots of stress by making me look for a replacementThey sent it back to me with the same problem I specifically described on the report I sent along with itMeanwhile I had to send it AGAIN to them (that means I'm still replacing this camera with a rental)
