On February 8, 2018, I returned a rental car to Executive Car Rental at Miami International Airport While on vacation, my debit card that I used to reserve this car was stolen and I had cancelled with the bank The reservation amount had already been deducted Since I did not have a new card or new number yet, I tried to explain to the sales representative that I would have to be issued cash at that time or send me a check I still have not received the refund despite countless calls to this location and all the locations I have found on the internet The one thing I have discovered is that this company does not have a corporate location and when I ask the various locations for a corporate number or accounting department phone number, everyone says they do not know where a corporate office is located, or that they are the corporate office and they will contact accounting I have called everyday and given my new debit information, but told they cannot manually input information a

In a nutshell, Executive Car Rental (also know as Payless Car Rental) is a complete and total scam by every sense of the wordThey lure you in with impossible to beat pricing, then gouge you on the the backend with unheard of fees and disgraceful business practicesI'm going to share my horrid experience below, but I strongly urge anyone considering renting with them to (1) take a brief look through their Yelp page where everyone is echo'ing my sentiments and (2) reconsider going with a more respectable vendor, you'll pay much more with Executive in the long run and the stress/frustration of dealing with their despicable employees who fuel the scam is infuriating
My long story short:
- Rented a VW Jetta while down for the holidays
- Returned car a few days later in perfect condition with a full tank of gas
- Was told I was good to go and went on my way
- hours later I receive bill via email for $1,more than I was supposed to pay
