hold times can sometimes be longer than usual especially when dealing with
issues such as airline schedule changes or flight cancellations. Customers are

We understand that you are not satisfied about the
schedule change that occurred on your reservation. Please note that your
schedule was changed by the airlines, not by priceline. The only change made by
one of our agents was on an [redacted] flight in order to ensure all of
your connections were valid. Please note that all changes made by [redacted] were presented
to us, which we then relayed to you.
 
If you prefer to cancel the reservation and receive a
refund, we can request a refund to the
airlines on your behalf, and any refund is at the discretion of the airline. If

I am rejecting this response because the cancellation policy was not provided to me before booking the reservation. As I mentioned in my complaint, the  fine line printing about the "flexible cancellation" was pretty difficult to find. This policy can only be seen after clicking on a link. The details of the cancellation policy were only provided to me (by e-mail) after I booked the reservation online (at which time, it was too late to cancel the booking). Moreover, the flexible cancellation shouldn't have been an option listed as AVAILABLE after noon on Saturday, August 1st
(local hotel time). My reservation for trip number [redacted], for one night stay was submitted on 2015-08-01 16:06:58, four hours after the allowed cancellation period. There was no flexible cancellation option available at the time I made my reservation and according to your website there was one. Therefore I'm requesting a refund.

I am rejecting this response because: priceline indicated to me that they themselves had issues communicating with airlines and that there Buisness relations department was handeling, I was 100% willing to pay the $30 fee for priceline to make changes but was unable due to the fact that priceline the company who sold me company cannot contact china eastern airlines for partial airfare consumed I was sick to a bed 4 days in a hotel room due to the negligence of priceline, selling a carrier who they themselves have issues with I believe that priceline should inform customers that the airlines has complications as far as communications with the consumer or not sell at all as Priceline makes a representation of chia eastern by being a vendor in continuence I'm still waiting for the call from princeline that was promised to me when I called In reference to the neglience and faulty service issued by priceline to this day they can not get china eastern on the line.

I am rejecting this response because:  Obviously the priceline representative did not read my complaint in full. There is clearly no effort to make the rental process more fluid. I am not upset just because [redacted] required a deposit. I am upset for several other reasons. 1) There needs to be a resolution regarding the cost per day which changed when I was at the rental counter from $13/day to  $29/day; which is false advertisement. 2) If Priceline has contracts with these companies then they do know their requirements upfront. So if Priceline doesn't want to specify each company they represent, then there should be a maximum amount listed in the terms and agreements. 2) Someone could have verified verbally with [redacted] that I was not able to obtain the vehicle on the spot, not wait 10 business days after the supposed return date. 3) The [redacted] representative said that the reservation sometimes can be transferred to a different company. (Specificly [redacted] which only required a $50 deposit instead of $200) There was no effort for the priceline representative to do so. Their email was the same copy and paste, offensive response as the day I was trying to rent the vehicle. Basically, they refuse to change anything and keep shoveling "terms and conditions" down my throat.  Terms and conditions do not cover the fact that I was misquoted a price and paid for it, then when I went to pick up the vehicle the price changed and they wanted additional money for the rental and a deposit. The customer service is terrible. If someone is out of town there should be more urgency to resolve these issues. Especially when paid upfront. If I would have known the amount of the deposit I would have made sure that amount was available on the credit card before leaving town. However, I still would not have rented with the price per day more than doubling the priceline quote.

consumer submitted a reservation for a 3 star hotel and feels due to the concerns he had during his stay, that he was not given a 3 star property.
 
We assess each participating property on many different criteria, including
cleanliness, guest satisfaction, decor, etc. In fact our hotel ratings, in most
cases, are actually stricter than other national rating. We have researched to find that this hotel does meet our
expectations for the star rating selected on our website.

I am rejecting this response because:it implies that a refund is not possible due to the signed/ initialed online terms. The dispute was based on the fact that the booked car rental didn't accept cash payment for the insurance; it wasn't unforeseen circumstances of changing a travel plan or simply not showing up. Moreover, the indication for a mandatory credit card was not among the provided terms. I honestly can not imagine such a business model adopted by a reputable business as Priceline that cannot refund it's customers under such a hassle and inconvenience; the car rental company itself would've refund me if the reservations was made directly through them according to their feedback. Finally, it was the car company recommendation of contacting Priceline for a refund provided their support of confirming the cancelation. Thus, I respectfully reject this response and urge you for a reconsideration.
