Priceline is normally my favorite booking site. Tonight we reserved a hotel room at [redacted] in [redacted] ** on Priceline, got what we thought was a great deal, checked in and went to our room. Priceline didn't ask how many people were staying in the room. It just asked simply how many rooms we wanted. There was a higher charge for the rooms with two queen beds. We booked anyway. After check in, the front desk called, told me I'd filled the form out wrong and that I owed them $12 because they charge per person in the room. Priceline didn't ask how many people were staying in the room and there was no fine print anywhere about this until you have already paid at the hotel. I felt taken advantage of and extremely irritated that neither the hotel nor Priceline would take responsibility for this and insisted we pay it. I will not book through Priceline again. We definitely would not have chosen to pay $90 for a budget motel. We ended up paying more for the room than the cost of a room had we just driven up and randomly chosen the hotel to stay at. Very disappointed in both companies. When we contacted Priceline about this, they said they would not refund the fee and to have a good night.

received your Revdex.com concern in our Executive Offices. We
understand that you had issues with your vacation package reservation. We have
contacted the [redacted] North concerning your claims, and
verified from [redacted] at the front desk that they did not receive any quality
complaints during your stay. She also advised that their records indicate that
no inquires or requests were made during your stay to move you to a
non-handicapped room. [redacted] added that no additional fees would be charged
when requesting to move to a non-handicapped room.
[redacted] Corporation advised that the driver of the rental
vehicle was charged $50 for fuel when the rental car was retuned without a full
tank of fuel. Additionally, [redacted] also confirmed that the $200.00 was an
authorization/hold on your card for the security deposit, and not a non-refundable
charge as claimed. The authorization/hold was released on August 17. Depending
on your bank, the hold will be released in 5-7 business days. Furthermore,
[redacted] Corporation verified that they did not receive any complaints from concerning
the quality or unclean condition of the rental vehicle.  In the event that that the $200 hold
authorization on your card was not removed, you may send us the copy of your
billing statement showing the $200.00 charge so that we can research it further

I am rejecting this response because:There is something Priceline can do; they are just refusing. I've attached four screenshot of the checkout process on Priceline and nowhere on it does it mention the passport must match the passenger name. Photo 1: screen to enter passenger name as it appears exactly on drivers license or other official photo ID. I did that. Photo 2: requirements for passenger name. No mention of passport
Photo 3: payment screen after entering passenger name. Mentions requirement for valid passport. No mention that it must match the passengers name. 
Photo 4: talks about the need for valid passport for international travel. No mention of requirement to match passenger name. 
The problem I have with this company is their refusal to accept responsibility for this and their claim that they're unable to assist the customer. Not true. I informed them they could assist by either issuing a store credit or booking a flight. The fact they have a Priceline credit card tells me they ARE able to assist me.
Furthermore, the company has made many assumptions throughout its correspondence with me. If I was married years ago and never updated my driver's license and now it's time to get a passport (which doesn't require copy of my driver's license), there will be a conflict between name on passport and name on driver's license. However, website says enter name exactly as it appears on driver's license when in actuality, it should have been the name on the official passport. This is exactly what happened in my case. My senior mom has always had her maiden name listed as her middle name on her driver's license. So we entered Pamela Bradford Allen during the booking process. Her passport shows Pamela Vernice Allen which includes her middle name as shown on her birth certificate. We didn't know there would be an issue if the passenger name didn't match passport exactly since the name matched the driver's license exactly. I just want the company to issue a credit or book a flight at same cost I initially paid (~$860) and update the Enter Passenger Name page to make clear that if traveling international, you must enter name exactly as it appears on a valid passport. For domestic travel, drivers license or other official photo ID. 
What I'm asking isn't much. This was caused due to the company's assumptions and unclear guidance on the website. Of course, they wouldn't think of this because it's probably never happened. And if not, let this case be a lesson learned to prevent future instances of this from occurring
Again, 1. store credit for ($860), rebook flight at no cost to me, or I rebook but not have to pay more than initially paid (company will bore cost of excess) and 2. Update website so that there's a clear distinction between international and domestic travel as it relates to the photo ID.

I can completely understand this customer's concern as I have experienced bad customer service with this company. After this trip that I have booked through them, I will never use them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone else. Customer Relations is not helpful at all, it seems as if they are trained to say no. What a rip-off! Very disappointed at the service that I have been rendered. I found out through more research that my trip would have been cheaper by contacting the hotel directly!

I bid for a hotel room for $100.00 and my bid was accepted. Immediately after the room was reserved, an ad appeared for "Express Bid" for the same hotel for $88.00. I contacted Brent on Live Chat in customer service. I explained the situation and he basically told me there was nothing he could do about the price. The "Express Bid" was from Priceline!
