Although I feel it was the ethitical thing to do in correcting my name on the hotel reservations, I am still in need of my name being corrected on my airline tickets! 
I contacted Priceline SEVERAL times that evening asking for help. I even told them I was vision impaired. At no time was I informed there would be a fee to correct my name, or anything else.
Now, helping assure that I won't have a problem when I reach my hotel is great. However, my concern is getting back into the country, if they allow me to board to even leave!! 
I feel it is unethitical practice to sell international packages, then charge the consumer to spell their name properly. 
I have been spelling my name over 50+ yrs. Also, I have auto-fill on my computer. This has not happened before, or since. It was obviously a glitch on their website. I reported it IMMEDIATELY. 
I feel this is an unfair practice to charge me the $30.

received the consumer’s additional comments. 
As you requested, we have again reviewed this matter to see if we
overlooked anything that might support a more favorable conclusion. Unfortunately,
there is nothing we can add to what has already been stated in our previous
correspondence. According to the consumer, she contacted the hotel directly to
cancel her reservation, however, she was still charged for the reservation.  Our records further indicate that the consumer
disputed the transaction with her credit card company.  Please note that the consumer had the option
to cancel her reservation directly online via her confirmation/itinerary page
or, contact priceline customer care directly before noon on Thursday, August
21st (local hotel time). Our records indicate that the reservation was not
cancelled via these options.
The consumer must contact the property concerning any claims, or cancelations/refunds
communicated with the hotel directly at [redacted]. We are sorry that we are unable
to assist the consumer any further in this situation.

contacted the rental company and they advised us that they honored the Collision
Damage Insurance you purchased through us. Moreover, you have purchased Full
cover third party damages and road side assistance at the counter. And these
coverage do not duplicate our insurance; hence, we will not be able to refund
our coverage. Please note that policy regarding the insurance varies by
company. It is at thier discretion to rent a vehicle withour particular
insurance coverage. We are unable to dispute their policy. In order to
further discuss this issue, you will need to contact the rental car compnay

   Asking for an additional  EUR 36 for an overbooking.    Actions taken:   -          Located the reservation in question    -          Property was invoiced correctly for overbooking    -          Forward the property’s complaint to the correct department for review   -      The Account Manager of the property discussed the concerns with the property explained how their polices work that they have set up & advised them to pre-authorize the guest credit card and should the guest to be a no show to cancel the reservation so the commission would not be charged. -    The Account manager also explained for the reservation of John Dye that the commission was not charged however, the relocation cost difference of the EUR 36.30 was to be invoiced as they could not accommodate the guest. Resolution:   -          Case has been closed no further action is needed in the case.

in plans, the consumer checked-out one day earlier than booked and requests a
refund.
 
When selecting a reservation, the consumer is provided with
the cancel policy associated with each reservation. In this case, the consumer
selected a reservation that provided greater savings and less flexibility.

I am rejecting this response because: it was never our intention to cancel, only to avise about m[redacted]'s arrival a day later. I would have taken the loss of a paid night. besides that, there are two reservation codes. why were both rooms cancelled. yes I agreed to the terms and I still do, but what I don't agree on is the cancellation. priceline forced m[redacted] into the cancellation. she was told that was the only option. another detail I don't understand is I was told I should have used my own name for both the rooms, instead of using mine for one room and [redacted] name for the other one. in my humble opinion that would have been fraudulent. either way, it was not my or m[redacted]'s intention to cancel the room, only to advice the hotel/priceline of a late arrival. so i'm being punished by priceline for being educated and telling them upfront about the next day arrival. why would that be a problem when both rooms had been paid in full.

I have received the consumer’s additional comments and have again
reviewed this matter. According to the consumer, she selected a reservation and
provided payment/account information; however, states that she was unaware that
she selected a prepaid reservation, and her account would be charged for the purchase
upon booking. The consumer states that she incurred overdraft bank fees as she
was unaware that she selected a reservation whereby full payment is required
upon booking. The consumer is requesting a refund for her overdraft bank fees alleging
priceline did not disclose that her account/debit/credit card would be charged the total cost at time of
purchase, and full pre-payment is required upon booking.

The cancellation policy is ridiculous. I booked 1 room for 2 nights for a softball tournament. When the schedule changed and I no longer needed the first night, I tried to change the reservation. They were going to let me keep the first night and cancel the second. Their reasoning was because the hotel was sold out and they didn't think they could resell the room for the first night. So I asked to cancel both nights with a full refund. Surely with the tournament going on and the hotel already being sold out, reselling the room wouldn't be a problem, right? Wrong! So now I guess we'll just keep both rooms and in the future NEVER us a booking site again because $100+ for a [redacted] doesn't seem like a big enough savings. I'd just rather book directly through the hotel who's cancellation policy is 24 in advance. PS. I tried to change my reservation 2 days in advance.
