Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Dooney & Bourke personnel promotes its products as being well-made and durable; however, that was not my experience with this handbag. The handbag was purchased in June 2014; it was dry cleaned and retrieved on August 2, 2015; and a letter of complaint was sent on August 3, 2015 regarding dry cleaning results. In response to the Dooney & Bourke reply, I did not purchase the handbag from the Dooney & Bourke website, so I would not have any knowledge of care instructions. The handbag did not come with a care instruction paper enclosure or label. However, as soon as the problem occurred with the quality, I attempted to advise Dooney & Bourke twice without success. My initial complaint was made to Dooney & Bourke 13 months after purchase. No response was received. I sent a follow up message through the Dooney & Bourke website in December 2015. No response was received. Without a care label, I did everything possible to take care of this handbag. Nothing on or in the handbag states “do not dry clean”. Dooney & Bourke is doing a disservice to its patrons by putting the responsibility on them to find out cleaning instructions, instead of providing the information to consumer at time of purchase and not after a problem occurs. As a courtesy and gesture of goodwill, I am requesting a full refund of $156.88 and I will gladly return the handbag upon receipt of a pre-paid return label. Also, something is wrong with the date entries for the BBB website, I entered dates but they populated in a different format. Sincerely, [redacted]

Dooney & Bourke sells egift cards This particular gift card ending *** which was purchased through our website under a different customer name and emailed to a different customer email address then the complainant Complainant purchased the gift card from second party which the cardholder has filed a complaint that her card was used fraudulently Therefore we can not refund the complainant as the credit card holders bank has marked this purchase as fraud The complainant should contact the website in which she purchased the egift card

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] . The response is not acceptable since it does not actually answer what I asked them to consider. There was no confusion and the company has clearly chosen to ignore my request to consider another solution to this problem. I find them to be difficult to work with.I will settle this with them another route since the BBB does not seem to be helping. Afterwards, I will promptly never do business with them again and tell everyone I know not to purchase from them because of their poor quality and lack of exceptional customer service. When an item is shipped the carrier then takes responsibility for that itemIf an item shows delivered and the customer claims they did not receive it, we contact the post office to open a claim and start an investigation with themPer the post office's policy it can take weeks for an investigation We have to wait for them to complete the investigation and approve the claim Customers order was replaced and shipped out UPS tracking number [redacted] According to UPS the replacement was delivered on 3/at 12:13pmWe do apologize for any inconvenience caused to the customer during this process

customer place an order on 9/to replace this item At the time the order was placed the original item was destroyed We have no way of reinspecting the bag

customers bag is under warranty and we are honoring the warranty by offering the full value of the item. Unfortunately when an item is not purchased directly through us we can not offer a refund. We can issue the customer a gift card which can be used online or in any of our retail or... outlet stores.
