Protect America has received the complaint submitted by Ms. [redacted]. We are also reviewing a legal document pertaining to this complaint and we are going to handle this matter through the legal process.

We have received the rejected response filed by Ms. *** and found that we experienced a massive cellular outage that impacted not only Protect America customers but many other businesses and customers as well. We’ve also applied 1 free month to Ms. *** for the inconvenience. At this time we are obligated to assure that Ms. ***’s system is functioning properly. We ask that she contact Protect America at her earliest convenience to install and test her new equipment.

Protect America, Inc. has received Ms. [redacted]’s rejection.We have made several attempts and left several voicemails in an effort tocontact Ms. [redacted] with no response. In an effort to try and come to aresolution with Ms. [redacted], on 4/1/2015 our customer protection team triedreaching out to Ms. [redacted] and was told we had the wrong number. At this timewe ask that Ms. [redacted] please provide PAI with the police report filed againstMr. [redacted]. Once the police report has been received Protect Americawill investigate the account to comply with Ms. [redacted]’s request.

I am rejecting this response because:The 36 months contract was overdue by years. Protect America never attended the needs of updating the equipment, focused only in collecting money. The worst customer service in the world, focused only in collecting money, not service.The equipment meltdown (literally) on July 2016 with great risks to my home and my family. he contract was overdue and I talked in the phone to tell I did not want any more relation with them. Protect America did not take any step to solve the problem, just pretended to keep milking my credit card. In December they sent a new equipment which I rejected and sent it them back, with a letter of rejection. This sending of a new equipment "to be able to keep the monitoring" is a demonstration of they had not any equipment to monitor my home, making themselves caught in the fact that they are pretending to collect money for a service that did not exist, since the equipment melt down. In fact they must be punished for this billing for fake service they did not make.

I am rejecting this response because: When I originally signed up this was not explained to me. There was some type of event going on in the background on their end which prevented me from hearing everything that was said. He said he would send a copy of the contract after we talked but I never received it until the day after I told them I wanted to talk to them. I have send the equipment back. I have told them I am canceling my account and I do not authorize any more withdrawals from my account.

Protect America has received the complaint filed by Ms. [redacted].In reviewing the recorded calls between PAI and Ms. [redacted] we’ve found that shehas declined multiple offers with allowing us to assist with the malfunctioningdoor sensors. We explained that per her agreement, she is required to call...

inmonthly to perform a system test. Ms. [redacted]’s equipment is under warranty so itis Protect America’s obligation to exhaust all avenues in assuring she has afunctioning system. At this time Ms. [redacted]’s account is set to cancel on7/25/2015. Additionally, All Protect America’s customers are liable for monthlyservice fees whether or not the equipment is connected to the monitoringfacility. We feel that at this time Ms. [redacted] is not eligible for the refundshe’s seeking. As a courtesy to Ms. [redacted] we are going to apply a 2 month creditto her account.
