I am rejecting this response because:You are stating the exact same thing without responding to my questions or comcerns. As you and I both stated I was interested in canceling in January. Why would I have to call at a later time to put my cancellation in place for September. The lady on the phone at that time even asked me "would like to pay off your balance and cancel now or have it cancelled in September?" I clearly remember let's leave it and let it be cancelled automatically in September since I'm going to pay the same amount anyway. What your company is doing is fraud and I will file a charge back ok my credit card

I was not made aware that there is no cancellation fee. I should not be binned to a 3 year contract if I am unhappy with the services and most of all do not have the service set up in a home. Regards,

Protect America has received the complaint submitted by Mr. [redacted]. Protect America follows a cancellation protocol, and has not yet received a written cancellation request for his business account, nor his home account. Mr. [redacted] has been month-to-month with both of his accounts, respectively,...

since 2012 and 2005. Once he calls in to cancel account and provides a written cancellation request, we can cancel both accounts.Mr. and Ms. [redacted] changed their card information on December 17, 2015 and because Protect America has, and had, not yet received a written cancellation request for the business account, both accounts were charged. We ask that Mr. [redacted] allow Protect America to assist with any and all future concerns.

In response to Mr. [redacted]rejection, we regret that we are unable to cancel Mr. [redacted] account while stillin contract. At this time we are asking that Mr. [redacted] return the camerasfor a full refund in the amount of $457.00 for 2 cameras at $179.00 each and 1 IPinternet module at $99.00. We are pleased to have come to a possible resolutionfor Mr. [redacted].

I am rejecting this response because:The Account has Me, [redacted], as the applicant and [redacted] as the co-applicant. I opened the contract and was asked is I wanted to include my wife. I gave the rep her information as well as mine. If you look at the contract it has both our names, me being the applicant. In the section were you are required to agree to the terms, I am the only one who initial them. If you are stating that [redacted] is the approved party then this contract is not valid.You also stated in the previous response that my contract will be canceled on 10/15 but you did not state any terms of the cancellation. I do not wish to receive and additional withdrawals from my bank account. Am I going to receive any surprise charges?

Protect America, Inc. has received the complaint filed by Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] and found that he was provided the 3 year agreement term and the terms and conditions during the initial sales call. Mr. [redacted] specifically asked during the sales call, “Say for some reason I have to cancel before the 3 year...

term is up, what is the penalty”? The sales agent explained the 14 day return policy then explained he would be liable for the remaining balance of the agreement term due to PAI not having early termination. Mr. [redacted] signed then completed the online agreement.  We’ve found that Mr. [redacted] had a clear understanding that he’s liable for the remaining balance of the agreement. There is no refund due at this time.

Protect America has received the complaint submitted by Ms. [redacted] on behalf of her mom. We have reviewed the account and calls. We will be in contact with her to assist in resolving her concerns. We ask that she allows Protect America to assist with any further concerns.

I am rejecting this response because: I feel as though I submitted my request for cancellation according to what I was told. Had I known that a 30 day written notice was needed prior to our contract being up on July 30th, I would sent in the written notice prior to the end of our contract. I feel as though they used our contract end date, which was on a Saturday to throw that in about a 30 day written notice, when in fact we were told that someone from the cancellation department would contact us within 2 business days, and they never did. My wife contacted them and I was told that they needed to speak with me in order for the cancellation to be valid. I do not feel we should have to pay for the month of September for services that we clearly asked to be terminated immediately and they still charged us for. I have attached a copy of the email that was sent to their cancellation department.

Protect America, Inc. has received the response submitted by
Mr. [redacted]. Upon further review, the balance for February was not discussed
at the time the agreement was made about cancelling the service. It was
discussed that we would meet halfway on the charges in question. This is why
the credit for the month of November was promised. A credit of $49.99 was
applied to Mr. [redacted]'s account because a charge for November was still
drafted. In turn, this cleared the balance that was on the account from the month
of February.  There is currently no
balance on Mr. [redacted]'s account, and he will not receive any more calls or
charges in association with the service. We ask that Mr. [redacted] call Protect
America, Inc. at ###-###-#### to discuss any further concerns.

I am rejecting this response because:We have ZERO confidence in them.  By "them", we mean their product, their customer "service" and their equipment.  Rather than reiterate the myriad issues we've had with this unworthy company, I will ask them/you to reread our initial complaint.  We do not want their service because they have failed us; repeatedly. We do not trust them. We do not believe they are capable.  We refuse to pay for a service we haven't received.  It's actually pretty straightforward and pretty simple. The only thing we want Protect America, Inc. to do is to release us from the remainder of our contract, have our account record reflect the contract termination as well as a zero balance, and for them to accept their "equipment" when we return it.  That is all we want, and this will be the only acceptable outcome for us.

I am rejecting this response because:the statements that are made are incorrect. Every time either myself or my...

husband has called to speak with a customer representative at Protect America we are on the phone for extensive periods of time and I have exhausted all efforts with the company. This is why I have enlisted the services of Revdex.com for a resolution to this matter because no favorable resolution has been made or offered by Protect America. Please have them provide Revdex.com of Central, Coastal, Southwest Texas and the Permian Basin with their proposed resolution.As previously stated the service has not been connected and active for over 15 months. In addition prior to that the service was not functioning properly. We purchased two cameras for $200 each and the cameras continued to go offline and would not function with the iPhone or Android apps. The merchant would not allow us to lower our monthly plan from $65 to $37. I have repeatedly attempted to cancel this service with the merchant under favorable terms but to no avail. I would like a settlement on the account for $250 and will return all equipment to the merchant.

I am rejecting this response because:Attached, you will find the contract which Protect America took the liberty of signing, which is why my name is misspelled. Additionally, you were not able to resolve any of my concerns that I brought to the table, including the most important; your system didn't work. It failed to signal an alarm when it was set off and it failed to contact the police during a state of emergency. Both services that were committed to me. In addition to the most important concern(system didn't work) these were the additional concerns that I brought to the table that were unresolved.-Sensors fall off wall-offered to send me more tape? -Glass break sensors don't work-didn't offer to send new ones-Alarm doesn't siren-no resolution-Delay in hearing from protect America when alarm was set off-No response. Took 5 minutes, unresolved.-Failure to use emergency passcode to send help-failed to resolve.The fact of the matter is that Protect America failed to resolve any of the concerns that I brought to the table early on in the relationship. Then, once my wife and I realized that we were not safe in our home with their service, they attempted to bully us with a fraudulent contract, which is attached.

Protect America have received the rejected response from Mr. [redacted].  At this time we ask that Mr. [redacted] contact our cancellation team for his cancel options.

Protect America has received the rejection submitted by Mrs. [redacted]. Our records indicate that Ms. [redacted] has only called in and requested to troubleshoot system issues once in August 2014. At that time, all issues were resolved. Since then, any contact between parties has not been an attempt to correct any issues. We ask that she allow us the opportunity to assist her. All options have been given in regards to cancelling the service while still in term. Our cancellation department has spoken with Ms. [redacted] on different occasions and provided her with the options.
