No one is intentionally putting the customer offThe only issue with the completed and fully functional building, is the anchors are 7"-8" away from the vertical postsThe inspector for this particular customer wants the anchors to be no more than 6" from the vertical postsAs long as all the
anchors have been installed (in which they have been) there is absolutely no reason that the customer could not use the building for its intended purposeJeff and Zack have both explained to the customer that it is impossible to come back out to make the changes within a few days after the initial report which took place on 5/5/17, which is what the customer is wantingThe customer is almost 10hrs away round-tripWe have spoke to the contractor and he is going to drive to her home in Ashland, VA tomorrow 5/17/to make the changes. Thank You,Chris ***

We have you on schedule for Sept 15/to be repairedWe apologize for the issues with the installers and will be sending a check for $for the troubles once the repair is completeOnce your repair is completed, please call Eagle Carports and ask for Anderson to get your $check
processed and sent outIf there is anything else we can do, please let us knowThank you and sorry for the long wait on the repair

I did speak directly to Mr*** about his roof panels that are rustingI was at no time rude to himI simply explained to him that a roof that is longer than 31' that does not have Vertical Panels would not be covered under the 20year warranty for "rust-through" of roofing materialsAt his
request I sent him a copy of our extended warranty explanationThe warranty is very clear in stating that "All Vertical Roof Units No Matter the Length are Covered Under the 20yr Rust-Through Warranty"It is also very clear in stating that "Any Horizontal Roof Unit Longer than 36ft Will Not be Covered Under Any Warranty Beyond the Standard 30day Workmanship Warranty"I am truly sorry that Mr*** is having issues with rust on his roofI would be more than happy to give him the replacement materials and labor at absolute manufacturer costIf he would like to give me a call to let me know the number of panels he would like to replace, I would be happy to give him the discounted price. Thank you,Chris ***

Hi,I'm sorry for the delay in delivering of the customer's carportWe are having some problems with the crew in that part of the countryWe are working on this and will get the carport out as soon as possible!Sincerely,GeraldEagle Carports, Inc

Hi,We tried to fix the building, but to no availOur proposal is to offer the customer a full refund and picking up the carportWe at Eagle are sorry for the inconvenience.Sincerely,GeraldEagle Carports, Inc

Mr
*** lives within a few hours of our North Carolina manufacturing facilityHe is experiencing the exact same weather at his home, as we are here at our shop and corporate officeI'm sure Mr*** is aware that we have zero control over the weatherIt has been raining every day this week which in turn has gave us no option but to reschedule his repairI'm sorry for the inconvenience of the reschedules, but have confirmed that he is on schedule for next Tuesday the 14thWe will keep our fingers crossed that the weather will cooperate, but as of now the forecast looks greatI greatly appreciate the customers patience in allowing Eagle to make the necessary repairs to his carportThank you,Chris ***

Concerning the above complaint for Mr***, he has not p[aid Eagle any money to dateHe is asking for Eagle to refund him $1700, but we have not collected any money to be able to refundI told him that he did not have to pay until the carport was completed to his satisfaction

Mr*** is on schedule for the 1st run of the new year, that will be going to New York and New JerseyUnfortunately we are not able to give Mr*** the "Vertical Roof" at no charge, however we would be able to give him the materials and labor at absolute costThis will not cost
thousands of dollars as he statedThe garage was originally ordered to have a horizontal roof. We do offer styles of roof options, Horizontal Regular Style, Horizontal Boxed Eave (which is what he purchased), and the most expensive option, Vertical RoofWe have, and will continue to stand behind our product, as well as the workmanship warrantyWe will ensure the customers roof is repairedAt any time he would like to make an upgrade to the Vertical Roof, I will be happy to honor the new roof at Eagle costThank you,Chris D***

HI,As of Sept28, 2015, we don't have enough orders in the customers location to install the buildingWe strive to get the orders out as soon as we possibly canWe will do everything we can to get the customers order out.Sincerely,GeraldEagle Carports, Inc

I do apologize for the inconvenience of having to wait longer than the anticipated time frameMelissa will be called today 10/25/to schedule the job for next Tuesday November the 1stI have approved a discount of $off the balance due for the inconvenienceChris D***

In the offer to resolve my issue with the company the company offered the following statement: saying that if a customer adds or installs anything on the building other than what Eagle Carports does it voids the said warrantyThe only alternative is we can pickup the building and give the customer a full refund. When the workers gave me the keys to the building they said it was complete and ready for me to use it. They did not say wait and see if the roof leaks before you use itFor ten months I begged the company to repair the leaks but I had to start installing what I needed to use the buildingThis had nothing to do with the roof, this was adding a floor, electricity and other needed componentsIn all my communications with the company when I was begging to get the roof fixed they never once said, 'Do not do anything to the building as we may have to pick it up and take it back." All they said was We will be sending a team to repair the roof as soon as possibleThat was their endless promise which never happenedBuyer be warned, this company cannot be trusted

After speaking with the customer, I did go back to the recorded phone conversation that took place on 7/20/at 11:Eastern timeAt that time Nicole (scheduler) spoke to Mr*** asking him if he would be available for install on 7/24/in the afternoonMr*** responded with Yes he would
be available and requested a phone call before arrivalOnce a customer has accepted an appointment, we then build his or her structure at one of our manufacturing plantsThe contractor then goes and picks up the material for installOnce the contractor is in the area with the materials loaded, the contractor charges Eagle whether the building is installed or notSo if Mr*** cancels the day of install, the contractor will require 30% of the building cost due to having to unload and load the materials at every job-site over the next daysThis is the 30% that Mr*** is refusing to payI will waive the fee for Mr*** even though he is not being honest about accepting an appointment for today

This complaint was addressed on 11/22/with Mr***s wife (*** *** I believe was the name)Nothing has changed as far as the scheduling goes, with the initial responseWe will with 100% certainty, weather permitting, have this job completed as of Monday November the 28th. The
discounts have been applied to the orderThank you,Chris D***

Eagle Carports went back out on 1/8/to complete all necessary repairs to the structureMr*** has not made the Revdex.com aware of the fact that the garage was built on a dirt/gravel surface that was not levelMost of his issues were caused by the fact that the ground was not leveled before we
went out to do the initial installationThe installation surface was at least 6-inches out of levelThe contract is very clear in stating that "The Ground Must Be Level Or Unit Will Be Installed As Is"Mr*** was contacted by Neil *** to let him know we would come back out to see what could be done after we had went out to make the repairs on the window screen and door frameMr*** told Neil that he had his own crew to come back and make the repairs and we would not need to send our crew back outNeil then offered to pay for the repairs that Mr*** said his crew had completedNeil simply asked Mr*** for a receipt of work performed so that Eagle could compensate the customer for anything he had to pay for out of pocketMr*** said he "had his Mexican friends to do the work" and there was no receiptWe still to this day are willing to pay for any repairs that he had to pay for, but has yet to produce any form of a receiptAll of the conversations between Neil and Mr*** were recorded and are on fileI'm not sure why Mr*** is now asking for Eagle to come back since he told my associate that his "friends" completed the job. Thank you,Chris ***

I am not understanding the reasoning for this complaint to Eagle CarportsMr*** has never contacted Eagle about the roof leaks, but is filing a complaint based on what a 3rd party has told himJust this morning, Mr***'s daughter Christie sent an email to our customer service department
stating exactly what The Barn Farm told herI promptly responded by telling her that Eagle would be more than happy to address the leaks and the work order has already been put in place to have the repair completedThank you,Chris ***

Mr*** is not at all being honest about this matterI will be forwarding the signed copy of the final Rent To own invoice that is very clear in stating that the contractor had to not only level the carport, but cut/trim trees and bushes to allow room for the carport in the exact location that
the customer requested the unit be installedThe customer admitted to me that he knew the bushes would need to be trimmed and he did not have the time to trim them himselfHe is now wanting eagle to reimburse him for the trimmed bushes/treesThe customer gave Eagle a credit card for the initial Rent To Own payment, only to have the card and payment declined by the bank, due to insufficient fundsAfter the card was declined, the customer and his wife made multiple promises on how and when they would make the 1st paymentOnly when I called to let them know that we would be coming to reposes the carport, was a payment madeUp until the payment was made, Mr*** kept calling stating that he wanted to be reimbursed for the trees/bushes that he admits must be cut to allow for the installationI feel as if the customer was only trying to figure out a way to get around making his 1st payment by demanding reimbursement for the trees/bushesThe customer signed the final invoice with my contractors clear notes of the work that was performed, including the extra labor that was not charged to the customer. Thank you,Chris ***

I know Ms*** has to be upset and I do sympathizePlease understand that the weather does play a large role in whether or not we are able to workWe called Ms*** over the weekend to reschedule, so that she could keep any appointments that she may haveThe only reason for the reschedule, is due to the rain we are getting today, continuing through tomorrowShe is back on schedule for this Friday the 16th.Thank you,Chris D***

Ms *** cement pad was poured "out of square" by no less than inches end/end as well as side/sideThis is the reason that the base-rail had to be installed right against the edge of the cement pad on corner, thus causing the cement to split in that specific placeMy associate Neil
spoke to the customer and the contractor to find out the reason for the rail being so close to the edge in the areaNeil made the customer aware that the cement pad had been installed incorrectly, thus causing their issueNeil also issued the customer a refund in the amount of $to show that we do care even though the issue is no fault of Eagle CarportsThe customer needs to contact the person that poured the cement pad and have them come out to address the issueJust as I responded in the negative complaint that the customer left yesterday, we will be more than happy to come back out and make any necessary adjustments once the cement pad has been corrected and properly squaredAs far as water coming in under the base-rail, the front page of the customer signed rent-to-own contract clearly states that Eagle Carports Inc is not responsible for stopping or repairing leaks under base-railsThe cement pad could have been poured with a "crow" in the center so water would not be able to run up-hill and into the buildingThe $we are refunding the customer is more than enough to pay for the sealant that the customer is requesting we come back and installI am truly sorry for the customers issues with the cement and hope that the customer will finally understand that Eagle is not the one at fault in this matterPlease call myself or Neil *** once the cement has been corrected and we will be more than happy to send the contractor back out to make any repairs that was not caused by the cement issueThank you,Chris ***
