Unfortunately Eagle Carports will not be willing to reimburse the customer for materials that he is wanting to purchase above and beyond what we offerIf we offered the 36' panels, we would be more than happy to install the longer panels at no chargeWe have never offered a 36' long horizontal panel in the state of Alabama due to the contractors not having a trailer long enough to haul the materials as well as a 36' continuous panel is very easily damaged when trying to install them due to there having to be at least men carrying each panel so the panel does not bend or creaseI will be more than happy to help MrPerry with labor cost if he would like to purchase his own panelsWe would not switch the panels for free, but would give him a discount on changing the panels with his own materialsWe install 500-36' buildings with the same horizontal roof, each and every year with no issues or leaksFor this reason I know we will be able to make any necessary repairs to his existing roof, so it does not leakI feel that MrPerry has no need for the 36' panels that he is requesting Eagle to purchaseAt this point the only option I have for MrPerry is to allow Eagle to come back and make the repair to the roof leak so he will not have any unnecessary expense for panels that he does not need. I am rejecting this response because: Mr*** stated several months ago eaglecarports knew what was needed to repair my carportMr*** has sent several crews to my home and problem still has not been resolvedThe carport leaks worse from the time it was originally assembledEaglecarports have made a mess of my newly paid for carportMr.*** made mention they have done everything in there power to solve there problemThe reality is the wrong roof was put on my carport from the beingMr*** eaglecarports know want to charge me thousands of dollars to repair my roof with a vertical roof which was suppose to be the start withWillie *** owner of property pine plain rd swansea scI am the customer purchaser of this buildingJoice *** my mother and personal assistant.

to use this building, I have added insulation, wall panels, additional metal supports to ensure stability, electricity, water and a restroomThe building cannot be picked up and dismantled without me loosing all the expense I have put into making the structure into a working spaceI request funds to repair the roof problem

After pulling Mr***'s account, I see that because of his location the standard turn-around time for his area is 10-weeksHis dealer from where he purchased the carport called in to cancel his order as of 1/3/I would be more than happy to reinstate his order at a discounted price, if
he would like to have the carport installedWe have a truck going to his area towards the end of next weekIf at any time he would like to move forward with the order, all he has to do is give me a call and I will be more than happy to take care of seeing the job completed in a timely fashionThank you,Chris D***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12854412, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me if the warranty is still in tact, and if broken ft roll up door issue is resolved.I do not need the door fixed this week to pass inspectionIf Eagle can overnight four (4) anchor kits for concrete pad installation, I can pass inspection and Eagle can fix door and inspect my anchors (for warranty validation) next week. I just need to get inspected and vacate my $100/ month storage shed

Hi,I'm sorry for the problems with the building, but when customer adds or installs anything on the building other than what Eagle Carports does, it voids the said warrantyThe only alternative is we can pickup the building and give the customer a full refund. Sincerely,GeraldEagle Carports, Inc

The holes that are pre-drilled in the garage door brackets are made by the garage door manufacture to allow for adjustment of the over-all door heightThe door brackets will not have screws in themThe customer is incorrect in what they are saying about missing screwsThe building was
installed on 1/12/with a day workmanship warrantyHad the door been installed improperly, the door would have never worked correctly from day Most all garage doors are rolled up and down no less than twice a day assuming the customer is leaving in the morning and returning later in the dayOne would think that the problem would have been noticed months ago if the door was not installed correctlyWith that said, I will go ahead and issue a work order for the jobI will make sure the contractor knows to show the customer what needs to be done to ensure the door works properlyIf the door is not installed correctly, then Eagle will pay the contractor for the repairsIf the door is installed correctly, and the door is damaged due to everyday wear and tear, the contractor can show the customer what needs to be done and the customer can then decide whether or not they would like to pay to have the repairs completed. The customer called in the complaint on 5/4/about the roof leakingI had an installer there the very next day 5/5/by the name of SaulSaul called in to the office to let us know what would be needed to complete the repair as he did not have what was needed on his truckThe material needed
is called "maskit" which is a rubberized sealantThe customer purchased a 41' Horizontal roof which does not carry any type of warranty on leaks or rust due to the fact that the roof panels have to be over-lapped at the 21' point because we do not offer a 41' long panelAs outlined in all of our literature and price sheets, we strongly suggest that customers purchase a Vertical roof for any structure longer than 31' so they do not have these type of issuesEven though the customer does not have any warranty on her roof, we are still going to make the repairShe is back on schedule for tomorrow 5/16/17.Thank You,Chris ***

I spoke directly with Mr*** on Tuesday October 3rdHe called in to let someone know that the contractor who installed his garage had promised him that he would come back on his own time to install (6) pieces of missing trimEagle nor myself knew nothing about the missing trim until Tuesday
the 3rdThe customer called stating that he was concerned that the crew was not going to make good on the promise of returning on his own timeI asked the scheduling department what day would we have a crew in the area so that I could write a work (repair) order to have any available contractor to go by and finish the jobI was told Thursday or FridayI then relayed this info to Mr*** I was not aware that the scheduling supervisor was referencing this coming Thursday/Friday the 12th/13thI told Mr*** that we would be there either Thursday or Friday, unaware that the dates were for the following weekI take full responsibility for not confirming the actual dates with my scheduling supervisorMr*** is on schedule for this coming Thursday October the 12th before 6pm in the eveningI will follow through with the contractor on Thursday to ensure the jobs completionI'm sorry for all the confusion and for the Mr*** having to wait on getting trim installedNone of this would have been an issue and the job would already be complete, had the contractor simply called in to let someone in the office know about the missing trim. The customer is correct in saying that she was on schedule for today Tuesday the 2ndUnfortunately the entire run had to be rescheduled for the following week due to complications with the contractor. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me as long as repairs are madeI was told on 1/18/that repairs would be scheduled but then told again on 1/26/that they would not be madeI have never been called back as I have been told twice that I would and I no longer trust that this company will fulfill it's promise to make the needed repairs. In regards to the building size I was never given any pamphlet or information on the buildingI went to the dealer specifically asking for a building 18xHad I been told then that the size would have been foot shorter I would have told the dealer to make it feetIt is a deceptive trick used by Eagle Carports to make the cost of their buildings more competitiveI had gotten several estimates of buildings the same size and Eagle came out $cheaper and a foot shorterI did overlook it in the very hard to read tiny print in the contract but it is also something that should be told to a consumer when they get an estimate. *** ***

Eagle Carports had no option but to increase our prices across the board due to the increased American steel prices in the month of MarchThe dealer (Ray ***) that sold him the carport was made aware of the increase on March 23rd via email and phone call from our in-house dealer representativesRay *** also received revised copies of the dealer pricing book on April 2ndMr *** called in and spoke to one of dealer representatives Austin *** to discuss what could be done about the dealer giving him the wrong price on his carport and order formAustin and myself agreed to split the difference in the new price versus the old price with the customerMr *** agreed to the increase of $Shortly after Mr *** called back threatening to get his attorney involved if we did not let him have the old pricingAustin directed him to the contract (that Mr *** signed) where it clearly states "Eagle Carports Inc has the right to change any price, at any time, for any reason"At this point I will still be more than happy to honor the original agreement of splitting the increase of $(discount of $409.28) with the customerIf at any time Mr *** would like to proceed with the discounted price and have the carport installed, all he has to do is let us know and it will be sent to scheduling. I spoke to Junior here at our officeHe has sent me the photos that Mr*** sent to himI agree that the doors are not closing as far down as they shouldAfter reviewing the account, the contractor that came out to look at the garage was not the original contractor that installed the
buildingAny time there is repair, it is customary to send the original crew so that we can ensure the job is completedMost contractors will not fix someone else mistakeI have spoke to the original contractor and he has agreed to come back out to make any and all necessary repairs to the buildingJunior spoke directly with Mr*** this afternoon to make him aware that the original contractor will be coming back outScheduling will be in touch with Mr*** in the next 10-business days to set up an appointmentI am very sorry for the trouble in trying to get the job completed to the customers satisfaction. MsDiaz: Re: ID # ***I am in receipt of your email closing my complaint on Eagle Carports The company has scheduled appointments with me to fix the problem To date their repair team has not showed up as scheduled to fix the problems Their scheduling office seems sincere when they schedule the repairs for me but they always schedule them at the end of the work day or work week and it seems the repairs teams find it too late to come out or they have rain delays them or whatever. I have not answered the Revdex.com emails about the repairs being completed to my satisfaction because they are good at setting their appointments with me but bad in not showing up I don't know how to answer your emails when this happens. Can you allow the complaint to remain open and when their repair team finally shows up I will answer the Revdex.com questions. Thank you - *** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12430313, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me but I did call on Tuesday September the and was told a would have to talk to Emily for schedulingEmily didn't answer my call and it was forwarded to a voicemail so I left a message stating my problem with the unfinished building and the promise of completion by the contractors and my call was never returnedThat leads to the next call I made to Chris when the contractors didn't show and he assured me that he would resolve my problems and was sending someone to finish the Job the following Thursday or FridayWhen they didn't show the following week I called back and talked to Ish who stated he was the assistant manager and could handle my problem and that's when I was told I was not on the schedule and would have to be put in a repair order and would be contacted in two too four weeks witch is not acceptable especially for a building that was paid for in full when my original order was placedWhen I was finally able to speak with Chris *** again he stated he had his weeks mixed up and that he apologizes for my inconveniences but was told by Ish just moments before that I was not in the system for any (repair) witch is what they are calling my unfinished buildingI feel this company is run on lies and I have been mislead ever they got my money.
