Approximately year after installation customer called stating that their screens had blown off We went out to customer's home and inspected all the screens We noticed that the screens had, at some point, been removed and then reinstalled incorrectly and on the wrong windowsWe reinstalled the entire job properly at no charge to the customer Customer called back approximately year later with same issues We advised customer there would be a charge this time as we cannot keep reinstalling the screens properly after they have been removed by the customer or another party Customer chose not schedule a service call In the meantime, we will be scheduling a standard inspection to determine what occurred since the last time we properly reinstalled the screens

The contract stated a Total amount installedThat is what we agreed toPlease look carefully at the contactThe first amount of TOTAL InstalledThat is what we agreed toThat was changed after the contract was signed without our consent and that is fraud.The webpage clearly states NO Deposit is Required, yet Eric (the salesman) said he needed a card from me to hold the orderAfter I signed the contract, he then ran my cardThat was to be held, not processed.After the contract was signed, Eric added things to contact, amounts not agreed upon and then a deposit which was not supposed to be processedNO deposit is requiredAnd, because he changed the amount, the deposit wasn't even a correct amount if it was to be processed, which is was not supposed to be.Also, the webpage clearly states Temporary shutters or blinds will be provided while our shutters were being madeThat never happenedThey refused to bring the temporary shutters or blinds.Rapid Blinds told us we could match a color to our shuttersThat also never happenedThe refused to honor that.When we asked to cancel the order, they also refused and said we had to take the shutters or they would put a lien on the property.Eric, the salesman also told us we could hold shutters till our house was ready but they are also disputing that.Now, because of serious statements, advertising issues, beyond the ethical and moral problems we are facing with them, we do not wish to do business with this companyWe wish to cancel the orderWe are VERY concerned about future problems, how they will be addressed as we have seen recently; unbusiness like and unlawful activity from them

At the time of installation all shutters were properly
adjusted as well as photographed to be closing and operating correctly and in
perfect working order. However, if there
have been adjustments made since that time we are more than willing to re-inspect
any issues the customer is not pleased with Repairs are never an issue of dispute for our
company. If something is not correct we
will fix or replace it without argument. We are committed to going above and beyond for customer satisfaction.We are somewhat confused why this customer is upset. We offered to repair or remake any
product in need of attention. However, the
customer refused that offer. If the customer has changed their mind and
would like us to come back to their house please have them call our office and
we will be more than happy to do so. Thank

We delivered and installed four custom made poly shutters for this customer, one of which was a very large 9’ tall window. The specifications on the contract clearly list poly shutters. The customer signed the contract accepting the product listed on the contractNowhere on the
contract does it list a wood shutterWe have installed thousands of shutters both wood and poly in the past years and both materials operate in a similar fashion. Therefore even if the customer had ordered a different product it would perform the same. These shutters were professionally installed and thoroughly inspected. Our installer spent an extra hour at the customer’s house trying to address the customers concerns to no availThe installation report turned in by the installer stated the customer has unrealistic expectations and he could not satisfy the customer’s requestsAlthough there is nothing wrong with the shutters in an effort to make the customer happy we have offered a remake to the customer just to make sure they are perfect. The customer refused this offer and terminated communicationWe pride ourselves in selling only quality products with excellent service. We are still willing to address any concerns and look forward to resolving this matter. We have attached a picture for your reviewThank you

The paperwork submitted shows two prices quoted, one without window sills and one with window sills which was slightly more expensive.  Some options do cost more, that is why we always give both prices when a customer asks for additional upgrades.  Both prices were clearly written on the paperwork, the contract was filled out and processed properly.  All of our specials are available to any of our customers.  If this customer would like to switch to a financing option we are more than willing to discuss that with her when she calls to schedule installation.  We value and appreciate all of our customers and thank you for helping us with this situation!

The business in question contacted us regarding the matter, however; they want us to pay a $125 service call/service fee. I refuse to pay this fee due to the business not installing the hardware correctly and refuse to pay them any money for their mistake.

Thank you for forwarding this information to us.After the customer asked our installer to leave we confirmed that the order was manufactured and delivered exactly as the customer ordered.  The next day we called the customer.  There were two people present during the initial...

phone call when the customer admitted she received what she ordered and stated she was "unclear to the salesman" when he was at her house.  She said "it is my fault but I want something different now like my neighbor has."  We tried calling back again and the customer becomes irate with us going as far as far as calling us names, then she hangs up on us.  We have tried several times since then to contact the customer to resolve the situation but she will not return our phone calls.  We are more than willing to work out something to make the customer happy but she will not talk to us so we are not sure what to do at this time.  Any help would be appreciated.Thank you.

After the installers seen all the problems with the doors not closing right, said, your salesman should of known to design the shutters in two parts due to the size. The office knows about the closing issues and will have the salesman come out tomorrow from 12 - 3 to see the problem. Next day I called the office after 4 and asked what happen to my appointment with the salesman, the receptionist said sorry but the salesman will not be coming over today the store manger has taken over the case and will review and call me in a few days. "Excellent Service at its best." Tuesday the following week I received a call from the store manger with a cheep fix take it or leave it. He only offered to fix window 1 only, with two new inner panels. I asked him will that help with the closing and the warping of the panels. He said No, the shutters are 9ft high and thats normal due to the size. I told him I'm not happy these results and if he can come pick up the shutters and repair my walls to original. He said, do to there's nothing wrong with them, the job is complete. I told him the shutter on window 2 does not even close! He said, "I'm looking at the photos I have from the installers, it looks like closes just fine. I offered him to come see the shutters himself, he said no need to he had photos. I said ok, I'll show people your complete fine job and ended the call with him. The salesman that designed the 9' foot tall shutters should of mentioned that these shutters will not close like the other shutters. I'm close to 60 years old and you want me to lift 9 foot tall shutters to close it. Now to the "professionally Installers" at Rapid Blinds & Shutters, that forgot to mention we damaged your wall with a nailgun, till I asked them why are these nails sticking out of the wall! The nerve to act like they where unaware of it till I showed them shows the incompetence they had. Then said we can repair it, thats no problem. They repaired it with silicone glue. Very professionally install I must say. Rapid Blinds & Shutters never showed up after the install, you act like shutters are designed to have hard time to close, you act like nothing is wrong with lifting shutters to close them. After I expose your lack of craftsmanship, lack of customer service, and lack of work ethics. You should tried to do the right thing instead of trying to act unaware. I think you as a owner/manger did know first hand this was wrong after you seen the photos first day but stalled on purpose to collect your money first from the credit card company before me calling them to tell them this job is not acceptable and I never signed off on it being done. Then me offer a cheep fix! The only thing you said that was right in your response to Revdex.com was that, I refuse to work on fixing the shutters with you due to lack incompetence Rapid Blinds & Shutters shows. I would like to ask Revdex.com to please come see the install in person and a full Refund.the owner of the company is threatening me with "Slander" last time we spoke on the phone, & having his attorney sending me a letter to stop posting negative reviews and complaints. I told him please do so I would love to see it! It's not slander to put in a complaint/review with a company online or to Revdex.com it's called freedom of speech! He did offer to due repairs on the project by having me buy the material for him! What a joke of a company! I can't believe rapid blinds is in business the way the owner is running it!"

Love this company. Always professional and they go out of their way to assist. Quality products as well. Great installation crew as well.

After writing a not so nice review, I would like to add another comment or two.
I received a phone call from [redacted] at Rapid Blinds apologizing for any anything
she said that was misinterpreted to be rude. I truly appreciated The effort it took
to make that phone call. Of course. she was repeating only what she was told to say.
I suggest that the salesman lay down the guidelines for installation. Perhaps see
if someone needs help moving a couple of pieces of furniture because of age or
health reasons. They should know in advance and not be charged per window at
the last minute.
Thanks [redacted]. You are truly a good employee. Not very many would pick
up a phone to apologize. I'll put you in the Positive range for sure!

The techs that arrived to install my shutters were extremely knowledgable about the shutters. They did a great job to make sure they were installed correctly, that they operated as promised and that the entire installation was done without any mess. I would recommend Rapid Blinds to any of my friends or relatives. I'm also very pleased with the look and craftmanship of the shutters....

Great experience. Could recommend then to others. We love the new shutters.

I recently had shutters made for one window in my house by done by Rapid Blinds and Shutters. My shutters are beautiful and the quality is by far better than the quality of the other two makers of other shutters in my home. My experience was a very good one. The installation was done in less than an our and they were early for the appointed time to do the install as well.
