I am completely satisfied with Rapid Blinds performance. They were prompt, efficient, and lived up to their advertised discount. Highly recommended.

We recently purchased our blinds and a custom plantation shutters from Rapid Blinds and Shutters. Our experience was wonderful from start to final install. We are very happy and satisfied with our investment.

Rapid blinds was one of three companies I called for a n estimate. The representative that arrived for the initial consult ( was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable about the products. My shutters arrived and were installed within the promised timeline and are absolutely beautiful. When one of the shutters was not with the order, on of the installers took the time to follow up to complete my order. I am awaiting the arrival of shutters for one small window!

Review: Ordered blinds and shutters. Blinds are ok but shutters are NOT! [redacted] the President of the Rapid Blinds & Shutters is who came to my home to measure for blinds and shutters. The shutters and blinds were due to be installed in March 2014. (We are snowbirds and would be leaving shortly thereafter). The products ordered were not ready for installation in March as promised therefore the installation was changed to November 2014 upon our return. When the installation person arrived with the shutters, I realized immediately that they were not the shutters I ordered. I ordered shutters that would open at the top and/or the bottom. My neighbor has the shutters I ordered and I pointed them out and showed the owner/president [redacted] on the day the order was signed. When I contacted [redacted] to inform him of the error, he said "that is what you ordered and you signed the contract". The shutters were propped against the wall in my home, the installer left and I have been trying to resolve the issue with [redacted] who has been very rude and uncooperative. I have paid all but $532.64 of the contract but do not have what I ordered and cannot seem to resolve this with [redacted] due to his lack of communication. I received a notice (11/25/2014) of "20 day lien notice stating that Rapid Blinds & Shutters is placing a lien on my home in the amount of $2,132.64. I do not know where this amount has come from and just last week (1/13/2015) I received an additional bill for over $782.64 dated 12/29/2014.Desired Settlement: MOST importantly no lien on my home....an opportunity to resolve this issue of a balance of only $532.64. At this point do not want any further dealings with Rapid Blinds & Shutters or [redacted] and a resolution to benefit both parties. This is the most unethical person I have ever dealt with. I would like to call it even.......I didn't get what I paid for and the lien removed and the balance on the initial contract to be $0.00. I would be happy to provide all documentation via [redacted].

Thank you for forwarding this information to us.After the customer asked our installer to leave we confirmed that the order was manufactured and delivered exactly as the customer ordered. The next day we called the customer. There were two people present during the initial phone call when the customer admitted she received what she ordered and stated she was "unclear to the salesman" when he was at her house. She said "it is my fault but I want something different now like my neighbor has." We tried calling back again and the customer becomes irate with us going as far as far as calling us names, then she hangs up on us. We have tried several times since then to contact the customer to resolve the situation but she will not return our phone calls. We are more than willing to work out something to make the customer happy but she will not talk to us so we are not sure what to do at this time. Any help would be appreciated.Thank you.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Everything is the business response is untrue. I never admitted receiving myorder to the installer. Quite the opposite. I was shocked at the product delivered which was the wrong design and stated that. My husbandwitnessed it. I never said "it was my fault but I now want something different". I have never called anyone names in any telephone conversation ofwhich there was one from [redacted] and another from a female in his office trying to reschedule installation of the shutters they dumped in myhome. I am angry at their blatant lies and just wish they would pick up the shutters, and leave us alone, so I can order the type of shutter I needhere from another company. This is the most unethical and rude company I have ever had the bad luck to encounter. They have done nothingto resolve the problem except blame me entirely. The contract has no mention whatsoever of number of doors per window unit but I ambeing blamed for signing a contract. Apparently they think they can deliver anything they want and it is the customer's fault if it is WRONG.

We recently had Rapid Blinds & Shutters install plantation shutters in our master bedroom and bathroom. Love them! From the beginning with the field rep who came and measured, he was prompt and professional and had many choices to pick from and recommended the best product. Turn around was about 4 weeks and the installers were right on time, professional and did an excellent clean job. Overall, it was a great experience. They look fabulous and were incredibly inexpensive! We will definitely purchase more shutters from them for our spare bedrooms. Great company, great quality and price. We highly recommend Rapid Blinds & Shutters.

My girlfriend and I had shutters installed by this company in our new home earlier this week. All I have to say is, this company was great to work with! Our salesman came out and he was on time and even called to let us know that he was on the way. He showed us several different products before we deciding on the shutters. He told us about the financing program and we ended up going with that and still received a full discount. He said that the shutters would take approximately 6-8 weeks before they were received, so we were pleasantly surprised when the office called at the 5 week mark to let us know that our order was in. We had the shutters installed by two guys and they did a fantastic job! They were very outgoing and knew what they were doing. We have a large home with lots of windows and they were there for the better part of 4 hours, but they worked great together and we really felt at ease having them in our home. After the install was completed, they walked us around to show us the finished product and made sure that we were completely satisfied. We highly recommend this company and will definitely tell our friends and family about the wonderful work you guys did for us! Thank you again!

Found a great offer for them in the Clipper Magazine. Ordered some real wood blinds and they were installed in a week. Great price and great service. Installer was very professional and now my master bedroom remodel is finally complete. Made the wife very happy!

Rapid Blinds and Shutters did a great job for us. This included the office staff, the sales person doing the measurements and giving us options, and the professional and efficient installation personnel. Based on our experience, we certainly recommend this company to others.

We had several companies out to give us estimates to do shutters on our new house. The sales rep was not only on time and friendly but gave us several suggestions that nobody else offered to us. We never felt like we were pressured but there was a genuine feeling like he wanted the shutters to fit our needs. On top of that it was the best price we received while getting more options at no extra charge. We placed the order and were scheduled install within the timeframe quoted. The installers worked quickly but did not rush thru the job and gave us a walk thru when they were finished. At the end of the job they asked us to fill out a survey that asked us to rate not only product but the entire process of the installation to which we gave a 10 out of 10. I really was impressed with this step, it showed there is accountability for the quality of the install. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to install blinds or shutters in their home. We could not have been more pleased. Since our install they have done work for my family and friends all of whom have been very pleased. Thank you very much!

Rapid Blinds installed their poly shutters throughout our entire home. The installers did a professional job and were very organized and efficient. They handled all our questions and we are very pleased with the product.

Called this company for a free estimate for plantation shutters. Girl on phone said Dan would be coming out. Dan showed up on time. Pulled out his shutter sample. We asked if this shutter was wood. He answered "we don't sell wood shutters" (?) He then went on to explain how good the "poly" shutters were. He measured the windows and came up with a quote for all windows we requested. We told him we were going to get another quote before we made up our mind. We wanted a copy of the quote, but he would not leave a copy. (why?) He asked for our email address. After he left I got on their website and they do sell wood shutters. I also called the company and the girl in customer service said they do sell wood shutters. Also, before the salesman left he handed us a brochure with his card attached. Inside the brochure was a section on wood shutters. So what gives? Why did his guy lie? Was he too lazy to bring in a wood shutter sample?

It's been over a week and we never got the copy of the quote we asked for...only a post card from the company thanking us for "inviting us in your home". LOL No email was every sent to us either. If this guy is going to lie about not selling wood shutters, what else is he lying about?

We had blinds installed recently and we love them. Great company and we would refer them to anyone! The installers were on time and the install was completed quicker than we anticipated. Thank you for great service and terrific product! We will use your company again should the need ever arise.

Review: I had rapid blinds and shutters install blinds on ( 3 windows ) one a 8ft wide by 9ft. tall window with 4 panels. The stutters are flimsy, sag in the middle and are rocking back and forth when having the window open for fresh air. Due to made from cheap material not for this large size window. This was a concern I had with the sales man if the panels where going to be stable do to the size. He said, "our blinds have life time warranty and are wood" and not to worry there will be no issue we can't take care. That was not the case after installing them. I told the installer that this was unacceptable, the inter frame is not strong and the panels are swaying back and forth when closing them and sag. He said, yes this is a bad design on the salesman part knowing the size will be a concern should of made the frame and panels real wood. That said I found out the hard way this was not real wood. Rapid Blinds salesman mislead me with this cheap modified material.Desired Settlement: 100% refund for false information that this was going to be wood shutters and not modified wood.

We delivered and installed four custom made poly shutters for this customer, one of which was a very large 9’ tall window. The specifications on the contract clearly list poly shutters. The customer signed the contract accepting the product listed on the contract. Nowhere on the contract does it list a wood shutter. We have installed thousands of shutters both wood and poly in the past 16 years and both materials operate in a similar fashion. Therefore even if the customer had ordered a different product it would perform the same. These shutters were professionally installed and thoroughly inspected. Our installer spent an extra hour at the customer’s house trying to address the customers concerns to no avail. The installation report turned in by the installer stated the customer has unrealistic expectations and he could not satisfy the customer’s requests. Although there is nothing wrong with the shutters in an effort to make the customer happy we have offered a remake to the customer just to make sure they are perfect. The customer refused this offer and terminated communication. We pride ourselves in selling only quality products with excellent service. We are still willing to address any concerns and look forward to resolving this matter. We have attached a picture for your review. Thank you.

After the installers seen all the problems with the doors not closing right, said, your salesman should of known to design the shutters in two parts due to the size. The office knows about the closing issues and will have the salesman come out tomorrow from 12 - 3 to see the problem. Next day I called the office after 4 and asked what happen to my appointment with the salesman, the receptionist said sorry but the salesman will not be coming over today the store manger has taken over the case and will review and call me in a few days. "Excellent Service at its best." Tuesday the following week I received a call from the store manger with a cheep fix take it or leave it. He only offered to fix window 1 only, with two new inner panels. I asked him will that help with the closing and the warping of the panels. He said No, the shutters are 9ft high and thats normal due to the size. I told him I'm not happy these results and if he can come pick up the shutters and repair my walls to original. He said, do to there's nothing wrong with them, the job is complete. I told him the shutter on window 2 does not even close! He said, "I'm looking at the photos I have from the installers, it looks like closes just fine. I offered him to come see the shutters himself, he said no need to he had photos. I said ok, I'll show people your complete fine job and ended the call with him. The salesman that designed the 9' foot tall shutters should of mentioned that these shutters will not close like the other shutters. I'm close to 60 years old and you want me to lift 9 foot tall shutters to close it. Now to the "professionally Installers" at Rapid Blinds & Shutters, that forgot to mention we damaged your wall with a nailgun, till I asked them why are these nails sticking out of the wall! The nerve to act like they where unaware of it till I showed them shows the incompetence they had. Then said we can repair it, thats no problem. They repaired it with silicone glue. Very professionally install I must say. Rapid Blinds & Shutters never showed up after the install, you act like shutters are designed to have hard time to close, you act like nothing is wrong with lifting shutters to close them. After I expose your lack of craftsmanship, lack of customer service, and lack of work ethics. You should tried to do the right thing instead of trying to act unaware. I think you as a owner/manger did know first hand this was wrong after you seen the photos first day but stalled on purpose to collect your money first from the credit card company before me calling them to tell them this job is not acceptable and I never signed off on it being done. Then me offer a cheep fix! The only thing you said that was right in your response to Revdex.com was that, I refuse to work on fixing the shutters with you due to lack incompetence Rapid Blinds & Shutters shows. I would like to ask Revdex.com to please come see the install in person and a full Refund.the owner of the company is threatening me with "Slander" last time we spoke on the phone, & having his attorney sending me a letter to stop posting negative reviews and complaints. I told him please do so I would love to see it! It's not slander to put in a complaint/review with a company online or to Revdex.com it's called freedom of speech! He did offer to due repairs on the project by having me buy the material for him! What a joke of a company! I can't believe rapid blinds is in business the way the owner is running it!"

At the time of installation all shutters were properly

adjusted as well as photographed to be closing and operating correctly and in

perfect working order. However, if there

have been adjustments made since that time we are more than willing to re-inspect

any issues the customer is not pleased with. Repairs are never an issue of dispute for our

company. If something is not correct we

will fix or replace it without argument. We are committed to going above and beyond for customer satisfaction.We are somewhat confused why this customer is upset. We offered to repair or remake any

product in need of attention. However, the

customer refused that offer. If the customer has changed their mind and

would like us to come back to their house please have them call our office and

we will be more than happy to do so. Thank
