I contacted the company thru an online advertisement on 11/2/17. They sent out a Tech by the name of *** on 11/3/17. The tech took a picture of the refrigerator Info and stated that it needed a fan motor. He stated that he would contact me later on Friday and let me know if the work could be completed on Saturday or Monday, after he ordered the part. I never heard from him on Friday. I contacted him on Saturday morning at approximately 9:00 am.The tech informed me that he got off to late on Friday and had not ordered the part. He stated he would do so and call me back. When I did not hear from him, I called him. The tech stated that he had forgotten to order the fan motor or call me back. The tech stated he had another job to complete. The job would take approximately 3 hours and he would come to my resident to check the refrigerator again to insure he got the correct fan motor. I contacted Reliable on11/4/17 to speak with a supervisor. I was told none were available, but the operator would take my contact information and have one contact me. I never heard from a supervisor. I contacted Reliable on Monday (11/6/17. I received the same information, that a supervisor was not available, but they would have one contact me. I still have not heard from a supervisor or the tech. I gave the tech a check for $69.95 on 11/3/17. As of this date it had not been cashed, so I put a stop payment on the check. The receipt I receive the tech has the number 376885 on it. The refrigerator to be serviced is a GE Profile model # ***. I would like a refund of the $30 for the stop payment and a return of the check I wrote to them. I do not need any other contact from them.

No further contact will be made.

I called the 800 number to schedule a repair on a cooktop and was quoted $69.95 for the service call. They said if the repair was performed, then the service call fee would be waived and only pay for the repair, parts and labor. When they showed up on Tuesday, October 24,2017, they were there for 20 minutes, cleaned the gas lines and burners, asked for a match to test them and they told my husband that it would be $295.00 for the repair. My husband asked why so much, since the service call was only quoted at $69.95 and there were no parts installed, just a cleaning, and they said, "because it's a Miele". My husband didn't want to make a scene so he wrote the check and they left leaving the invoice. When my husband looked at the invoice, it said $255.00. I tried to call them that evening to speak with a manager and was told he was out of the office and would get back to me as soon as possible, but may be a few days, since they are very busy and are nationwide. His name was ***. I left my name and contact info. About an hour later, the service tech called my husband's cell phone and left a voicemail. My husband called him back the next day, but never spoke to him. I called again Thursday, 10/17 at 9:15 from work to speak to the manager, ***, and was told he was unavailable and I left another message to have someone call me and still today, Friday, 10/27, no call back. I want someone to explain to me the reason for the price for a twenty minute, no parts replaced repair when they arrive without even a match or torch to check the pilot lights, when I was quoted a $69.95 service charge. I already wrote the check for $40.00 more than the invoice showed and I expect to have a fair price for the repair, without parts.

We were not given a repair estimate upon arrival of technician. He only cleaned heads and igniters for twenty minutes and the bill was $255.00?? then the technician verbally told my husband that the bill was $295.00 which is what he wrote the check for. I have been waiting to hear back from the manager. This is highway robbery for a simple cooktop repair and I would not have done the repair had we been told $295.00. That works out to $885.00 an hour! I have never heard of such a thing.

On June 24 2017 Saturday, we called Reliable Appliance Service Inc to check my AC system at our house. The technician *** showed up. After a brief check, he suggested that we replace with new machine. Both sides agreed that if they install new Carrier machine and we pay $4155.00.
On June 26, 2017, when *** came to install the new machine, we repeatedly asked him if it is a Carrier Brand AC unit. He said “It is Carrier”. After the installation, *** told us everything was installed and working well. Also, *** and I went to the attic afterwards, *** told us anything running well with the existing motor and coil in attic.
After a very short period of time, we found that AC system isn’t working at all. The temperature never went below 85F, the machine was covered with a lot of ice and a puddle of water surrounding it. So much water came out through auxiliary drain line. We found that it is NOT the agreed upon Carrier Brand unit. The brand on the unit your company installed is “Day and Night”. This is a blatantly fraudulent installation. We had been lied to. We took the pictures of the terrible situation and sent them to ***. We contacted the company about the situation many times and requested to install Carrier machine. But *** refused. We contacted *** via text message. He came to our house and we requested again to install new Carrier unit for us. *** agreed with us and he also messaged us that he will install new unit and sign a new agreement with us. We thought that could resolve the issue. But we never got any contact for installing new unit since then. Now *** told me there is some issue with motor. But after installation *** and *** confirmed that there’s no any issue for motor and coil system. We think it is the new unit caused the motor failed.
I asked *** to show me HVAC license and he does NOT show me that.
The contract does not have clear information about the service.
