Revdex.com and Welk Resort:We selected reject because the Revdex.com only gave us two options - accept or reject, and those two selections do not work for all complaints and all people or situations.We have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and while the Revdex.com provides a default letter to either accept or reject the offer from the business, that does not cover all complaints.In our opinion, the Revdex.com should have at least three choices, the 3rd being at the minimum that the business has contacted the customer and both parties are trying to work on an amicable solution, as is the case for this complaint.With that said, things take time. [redacted] (sales mgr from Welk Resort) called us Feb 29, 2016, and promised to send us some things in the mail, that could take up to three weeks for us to receive. And after receiving those things, we will need at least two to four months to try out what they send, to see if what they send, really works as was promised over the phone. We did not get our money back, nor "free" Dream Vacation Weeks (Three), but have been promised that we will rcv cards that will allow us to take three Dream vacations at a cost of only $199 each, and that there are MANY $199 vacation weeks through Leisure Time Vacations, of which we haven't looked at enough to see if that statement is true, or false.We realize both the Revdex.com and the business wish that this (and all) complaints are resolved in a timely manner, but again, not all complaints can be. If the Revdex.com wishes to close this complaint, we can't stop that, but we would like to keep this open until it is resolved. If the Revdex.com would like to close this now, and for us to open up another complaint (if things aren't resolved), and reference this one in four to six MONTHS time, PLEASE tell us that is what you would like us to do,, and we will comply with said wishes. August 27, 2015.  I am addressing this to both of you because I have both of you on the ownership contract. I show you both became Welk Platinum point owners on May 18, 2015 when you both purchased 90,000 Platinum owner points to be used on an every “even” year basis starting in 2016.  I do not show any usage for your ownership.  Again, I am sorry if there were any misunderstandings during your sales presentation.  Welk is highly rated for owner/guest experiences and for the high trade value through the exchange companies.  We take great pride in assisting our owners planning memorial vacations.There may be some confusion in reference to using your owner time, bonus time rates and getaways.  The getaways are done through Interval International and have specific booking windows.  The usage of your owner points and bonus time would be done through Welk.  As an owner with Welk you do get special bonus time rates when you stay at any of our resort locations, depending upon availability.  The owner time rates will change depending on the season.  We do our absolute best to satisfy every owner request to stay on property at any of our Welk Resort locations.   As I stated in my previous letter to you, Welk does not have a late cancel option for your ownership.  I did mention previously that the first year of ownership can be a little confusing when dealing with different departments and learning how to effectively use you ownership for the first time.  We have an Owner Services team available seven days a week solely to assist our owners with questions, usage of their ownership and booking of vacation travel.  I apologize for any challenges you have incurred.  We are happy to assist you with the usage of your ownership.  The intent when you both purchased this ownership was to use it for vacation travel.  Please allow us to help you use your time.  It is not Welk’s policy to cancel contracts that have passed beyond the rescission period required under Missouri law.  I do not have a contract rescission option for your ownership commitment.  As stated previously, Welk does not have a “take-back” program that would allow you to simply return your ownership to Welk.  Please let me know how else I can be of assistance in this matter.  Feel free to e-mail me directly at my e-mail address listed below. Sincerely,

foremost, I want to apologize if there was any miscommunication or confusion. I hope everyone that was evacuated is safe and sound. Welk Resorts prides itself on our commitment to the importance of family and friends as well as our dedication to providing an exceptional level of customer service. In your case this clearly did not happen. We will be investigating this to determine exactly who you spoke to at the resort.Welk Resolution CenterI have confirmed that during the wildfires our rental division was allowing cancellations, including those that were reserved as non-refundable to guests that booked directly with Welk and through third party entities, Our rental division has reached out to Hotels.com and released the funds paid to Welk for your reservation.
