Sir, We understand you are refusing to do the right thing by failing to provide the high quality of customer service you respectfully say Welk Resorts has.We cannot take advantage of your forced Welk Resort involvement in planning OUR vacations Being government and city officials makes it difficult enough to coordinate a trip between our two schedules - much less to include Welk customer relations and your timelines.Because we often vacation in our RV, we camp at lakes, parks etc Mr***, at our first encounter with Welk Resorts, told us that our "special" 90,point every other year plan would be perfect for use at RV resorts included in the Welk Resort group We cannot locate any information about camping opportunities within any of the Welk material provided to us We believe we were misled with this statement, offering a non-existing service or opportunity You might say if we call customer service they can help us with this but, where within all the printed material can we find RV resorts, locations and amenities available to RV users?The "ample time" we had to review our materials before the cancellation date is not correct We did not receive the Interval or Quorum information until months after the five days had passed Our sales agent, ***, made a follcall to us to see if we understood everything Unfortunately the call came several weeks after the cancellation period as well I'm not sure if this is by design or by accident but nevertheless that is what happened.At our sales meeting, we were told that this was a vacation club; that we are buyers, that we cwould receive a deed that could be passed on for generations We were specifically told "THIS IS NOT A TIMESHARE" The deed itself indicates it is for a Welk Timeshare We had expressed our dislike of tiimeshares wnen we talked with *** and the fact that we wanted to stay away from them It appears we unknowingly got involved in one Deceptive tactics interrupted our long range plans for retirement and travel We have numerous other complaints as you know We are now aware of several legal cases in Missouri against Welk One through the Attorney General's office as well as the Consumer Law Advocates We will continue to research these cases for similarities to our situation You continue to refer us to your customer service representatives for assistance We believe at the present time, scheduling a trip through Welk is not the appropriate course of action for us Our request is that our ownership be cancelled and that all funds paid be refunded immediately This is the only solution to satisfy this Revdex.com complaintAny further communications with you needs to be focused on our final request Not on your continued dialoge of assisting us with vacation plans that you cannot provide Regards

I have previously responded to you personally in regards to your concerns.show that you originally became an owner with Welk Resort Group on July 14, 2013 when you purchased 120,000 Platinum owner points to be used on an annual basis starting in 2014. You chose to upgrade your ownership to 240,000 Platinum owner points to be used on an annual basis on January 16, 2016. I show that you have placed your time into Interval International for exchange usage. I have reviewed your ownership usage history and I do not show you have ever tried to make a reservation to stay at any of the Welk Resort location within the Platinum Points Program. Your ownership notes do not show any listed challenges in your more than four years as an owner with Welk. I do not show any notes that you ever contacted our Owner Services team with a need for assistance with the usage of your exchange benefits.apologize if you felt pressured. The sales presentation is 90 minutes. The purchase agreement negotiation, based upon the owner needs, pricing, discounts and incentives, takes additional time. Every contract is negotiated personally and pricing, discounts and incentives can change daily. You are only obligated to stay for the 90 minute sales presentation to receive your initial free gifts. You always have the right to leave at any time. The decision to purchase, as well as upgrade your Welk Platinum point ownership, was yours.I am sorry if there were any misunderstandings during your sales presentation. When an owner has a poor exchange experience we will usually have you reach out to Interval international directly and they will replace the week that was used. Welk Resort Group does not control the inventory of Interval International or the exchange process. That being said; we are more than happy to sit on the phone with you while you go through the exchange process and offer advice on the exchange you are being offered.  I apologize that your stay with us was less than perfect. That is certainly something I shared with our resort operations team after our discussion.  Our loans modification team has a very specific process that they go through. We called in your rep helped us during the most lengthiest process if have ever participated in and still yet the outcome was a disaster! Where have you offered to help me with this unacceptable experience other then apologize and try to get me to book more through a free week? That is not what I want. What I want is proper customer service I expect a full refund for everything that I had to pay out of my own pocket to get me and my family into a better room that did not smell like mold and was suitable for us to sleep in. Also no where did you address the lies that were told me during the purchase process. [redacted] told me over and over again that we can file taxes using this property as a legal TAX write off. Thats was a lie! You yourself said that she had lied to me. Not only that when you advised [redacted] from the modification department to call me we went over the conversation and she also lied to me and said "yes it is a TAX write off" and she was extremely rude and unhelpful she didn't want to help me with anything and to be honest she made me feel like I was bothering her. This is FRAUD and where is the customer service in all of this I am extremely unhappy I feel like you guys took advantage of me and I was mislead in a huge way. I want out of the contract due to your employees lies and how they mislead me and my husband.

My family cannot afford the Welk’s resort. We do not wish to use it.
When I have called you, you guys intimidate me from canceling. Like I said, we
were pressured into signing. We just wanted to go home to our baby. You sent us
away with no paperwork. You said that you didn’t have something and it would be
mailed to us. We didn’t receive it until Sept. 29th. On Sept.
22  you did tell me that our window had passed and I did tell you that I
would not be able to pay and would like to cancel. You said you would report me
for nonpayment to my credit report, when your sales guy was telling us that
this was a “savings” plan and we could get out of it at any time. You also made
it clear that we are not owners. If we do not own and it was a “savings” plan
where our money would be returned to us, why would you say that you would
report us for nonpayment. How could you intimidate people into keeping
something that they don’t want?

I feel I have some very unique circumstances that require some serious considerations of what can be done to allow my fiancée and I to simply get out of this contract.  With everything I have explained and expressed I am asking for a simple request.   I understand it is not your company policy but this is also a unique chain of events that caused me not to be able to cancel within the time period given. Imagine if your daughter was not there for her mother to return her from her scheduled visit and then completely stopped calling you back and basically disappeared. I'm sure the things on your plate would all take a backseat to getting your child back.  The number one thing we live for is our children and havng one taken away and basically disappear from your life will turn your entire world upside down. I am asking for some compassion and a way out of this deal, as I said I would have canceled it if I did not have some life changing events take place.  If there is someway to rectify this unfortunate situation please let me know. I will personally speak to the CEO if needed.  At the sales pitch they spoke of family being the priority for Welk n how important it is.  Well I had one of the worst things that a family could go through happen to my family when I had every intention to cancel this contract.  From a human perspective I hope you can see that and from a business perspective I hope you can see that it can be easily canceled.   I was told by the salesman there were only a few left at this price level so it does not sound like they are not selling and your team should be able to easily sell this one.
