Reo Pro Corp Reviews (118)

Review: I was contacted by [redacted] of ReoPro Corp on March 22, 2014 regarding REO Properties and being a BPO Listing Agent. I was required to pay a fee of $400 and received a welcome package with the REO Pro Money Back Guarantee that states the REO PRO GUARANTEES THAT IF IN 6 MONTHS WE DO NOT PROVIDE YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO MARKET OR SELL A PROPERTY WE WILL REFUND YOUR INITIAL SET UP FEE OF $400. I received 4 properties total to do BPO in which I completed. After 6 months of no properties to sell or market, I emailed [redacted] about a refund and told me that the only way to get a refund is to contact the director [redacted]. I did receive a few calls that I missed from [redacted] and have left many many voice message back to [redacted] in which, I have not received a call back yet in regards to the refund. I have all called the main number and it is always a voicemail and [redacted] is only a voicemail also. NO calls back regarding my refund as stated in their Guarantee for almost a month now. I just want a refund as promised.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of my $400 as like they say they will do on the REO Pro Money Back Guarantee in the Welcome Package I received when I signed up and not to be charged again with any renewal fees.

Review: They promised me listings with bank owned properties and if I did not receive any in 6 months I would get my 400$ processing fee back. I never received any and the phone is dead and no one answers emails either.Desired Settlement: refund my 400$

Review: This company calls promising realtors REO listings, all they need is a start-up fee of $400 after they put you through an "interview" process and tell you how wonderfully qualified you are. I fell for it in September 2014 when I was called by [redacted]. They give the impression you will be the only agent they will work with in your area and they're aggressively working with their many lenders to secure REO listings they will assign to you. They assign BPO's, I believe I did 6 of them free of charge. I watched these properties get assigned to other agents, fairly certain not by REO Pro as I did call a few of them to verify. Coming up on a year and not even a phone call. Voice mail and unreturned phone calls, unanswered emails is all I get now. I want the $400 back and will go to the attorney general of Deleware if necessary.Desired Settlement: Refund of $400

Review: I am a Real Estate agent and was contacted by this company. I was told that I would receive listings on these bank owned properties. All that I had to do was a brokers price opinion. They would submit it to the bank and within 2 to 4 weeks would receive the listing. I was given a list of zip codes and told that no one but myself would receive any bank properties in theses zip codes. All I had to do was give them 400 dollars for the software. A month later I ran into another agent, a friend of mine and she told me they had promised her the same thing and she had the same zip codes that I had chosen. Also the BPO THAT SHE DID AND WAS PROMISED THE LISTING, THEY GAVE TO SOMEONE ELSE I called and complained and a Mr Sonny Costillo told me he would handle it. He would send me all of his personal information. I never heard from him again I went to the Revdex.com and there were 23 complaints from other realtors who had the same problem Desired Settlement: I want a refund of $400 and they should be stopped

Review: Business called to give me REO listings and I had to do 3 BPO's, found out 24 hours later, that this is ame company as FootprintsRE, which was also a scam, they charge Realtors fees promising listings and never deliver. They say money back guarantee at end of one year if no listing, by that time they change change names and do it again. No one has returned my pone call since they took my money or email. My bank is on standby. This is FRAUDDesired Settlement: Full refund.

Response:

We have refunded the customer. The customer's accusations are false and any possible correlation between us any company is false as REO Pro is not affiliated with anybody and is a sole entity. We do not have a guarantee as the customer mentions. Our guarantee states that if in 6 months, the Real Estate Agent does not receive one qualified lead they will be refunded the activation fee. Clearly, we do not promise agents listings.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I do have documentation showing same company as FootprintsRE, just changes the name, same game, every year or so change name and platform a little and back at agents again

Review: They offer you foreclosure listings but they are not an REO company and they do not ever provide anyone an REO Listing. This is all just a large scam to steal from Realtor's trying to get REO Listings. Do not do business with this company for any reason.Desired Settlement: They stole $400 dollars and did not provide the services they promised.

Review: The sales person [redacted] told me he’s an asset manager has 2 listing right now he could assign to me and that 6% real estate agent’s commission was going to be paid by the bank at closing of the property. (A property purchase price of $200,000 would therefore lead to $12,000 commission being paid out.) All I needed to do was to pay a one-time fee of $400 to be set up in their system and he would assign the 2 listings to me.

However, after being set up in their system I was assigned 2 BPOs instead of listings. BPOs are Broker Price Opinions of a property established by driving to the property, pulling comparables from the broke'rs local MLS system and making adjustments. Banks pay real estate agents for BPOs but without any promise of a listing. They might not even decide to list the property for sale at all. They might not own even the property. BPO could be asked for in a short sale situation to determine what the property is worth and if a solution can be worked out with the homeowner. The homeowner still owns the home and neither the bank nor any self-professed asset manager can list their house for sale. Listings and BPOs are 2 completely different things. You can verify with any real estate commission in the nation that they are completely different services. Because of the false promise of services I demanded a refund THE SAME DAY which remains unanswered. The email address the sales person [redacted] gave me to contact him, bounced back as invalid. The phone number he gave me always leads to a voice-mail, not a live person. I’ve never received a response to my email to their customer service email address.Desired Settlement: refund of the $400

in reference to complaint ID [redacted] I received a full refund which is a satisfactory resolution to me.

Review: I am a Real Estate agent. REOPro called and solicited my business, claiming to be an asset manager for various bank foreclosed properties. They promised that if I paid them $400 and provided them two Broker Price Opinions (BPO) on assets they manage that they would have me list the properties at a 6% commission and provide me at least 8 such listings per year. I paid them $400 and performed the 2 BPO for them (a $300 value). They acknowledged the BPO were received and acceptable.

I have called and emailed repeatedly the "asset manger" [redacted] and customer service with out getting a response for over a month. This appears to be a scam.Desired Settlement: To receive 8 foreclosure listings in my area and a full refund and $300 for my professional BPO services provided to ReoPro.

Response:

I received a letter from the Revdex.com regarding an upset customer of ours. I called the customer initially on 5/8/2014 but left them a message. I spoke with them again briefly on 5/9/2014, but they were just coming back from vacation, so they asked me to give them a call the following week. I called and spoke to them on 5/13/2014. The customer had shared their displeasure on the fact that when they called to speak with [redacted] never picked up his phone. The customer also called our customer service department but stated that they also did not pick up their phone. As a Director of REO Pro, I can reassure you that this is not how we provide a service to our agents. I apologized to the customer and gave them my direct line. I also provided the customer with an assurance of how we work and asked if they would like to continue to work with us. The customer stated that they would the Revdex.com that they would like to continue working with us.

This letter is to summarize how REO Pro took actions after we received a complaint letter from the Revdex.com case ID [redacted]

I would like to thank [redacted] for addressing my concerns and look forward to improved communication and a long business relationship.

I do not trust them. some sales rep called me offering few BPOs within 6 to 12 months. I asked them give me an active listing as example in my zip code - it took her a while to pull out a record - funny part is the address she provided is so obvious not a REO, or has any activities in the past 10 years... I suspected their business is scam .... she hang up on me after I questioned her with my concerns .... DO NOT PAY ANYTHING to them...

Review: I was contracted by REO PRO and charged a fee of $400 to perform BPO Analyses on several different properties. I was guaranteed that these listings would be mine to list once they were ready. In fact REO PRO had no right to these properties, some of which have been listed with other agents or sold through Sherriff's sale. REO PRO did not deliver on the promises made.Desired Settlement: I am demanding a full refund of the $400.00.

Review: On November 12, 2014 I was called by an asset manager claiming to be from REO Pro Corp. At that time, the asset manager proceeded to tell me that I would be assigned listings for doing BPO's. Promised me that I would be the only agent and would make sure that I got all the listings that were assigned to me by doing the BPO's. All I had to do is allow them to charge my credit card $400.00. I was told if I am not happy I would get a refund. Within 24 hours I did research on how this company promises the same to agents all around the United States with the same script the asset manager fed me with. My broker fell victim to this scam a few months back. He did 10 BPO's with no listings or payment of any kind. I called the next day to cancel my contract with the company. The gentleman I spoke to refused to do so. I responded with a timely manner to discontinue this service. It upsets me to think companies like this pray on agents and don't deliver what they promised. I would like to see this company be held accountable for their actions of their deception.Desired Settlement: Full Refund

Response:

To Whom It May Concern,After reviewing customer's complaint, we have decided to proceed with the full refund that the customer hasrequested. However, we do not agree with the customer's complaint as they received services from us in full compliance with our Terms and Conditions. We provided the customer with the BPO assignments for the possible listing of a property, nor a listed property. Attached you will see our Money Back Guarantee form, where we clearly state that if we do not provide the customer an opportunity to market and sell at least 2 properties in the span of one year; we will refund the full amount. We also tried to contact the customer back in regards of an immediate refund request, the customer accepted Money Back Guarantee Policy and they stated that they are willing to continue to work with us.Attached you will also find customer's refund receipt.

Review: I was contacted by this company on Oct. 30th and listened to the asset manager tell me that I was referred by a local bank to handle a few BPO's which will in turn be my listings. I was led me through the website to show me how the assignments worked and seemed very kind and helpful. He did rush me for my credit card within and minutes after I got off the phone with him, I looked up one of the properties he gave me and it was just sold a month ago so I was alarmed they wanted a BPO and then read the companies reviews. I quickly contacted the asset manager within the hour and said I do not want to continue with their services and asked for a refund as he ran my credit card. He said that should not be a problem let me get back to you by the end of the day. He did not call me back. I left a few other voice mails since then to call me back as I requesting a refund since I did not want to use their services and cancelled within an hour of his initial phone call. On another attempt to follow up on the refund I spoke to someone named Kevin in billing and they pushed me off for the general manager, Elisha to call me back by the end of the day. Still no phone call received and no refund. I am disputing the charge with my credit card company and would hope that hope that REO pro will do the right thing and refund the fee.Desired Settlement: That the company would refund in full the $400.00.

I feel as though this business proposition was a fraudEssentially, we are not getting any communication, we are not getting new assignments, and some of what did have has disappeared in the system
If I do not have any communication back, I will take the steps necessary in reporting this and receiving my funds back

Review: I'm are licensed real estate agent in Arizona. On April 1st, 2015 REO-PRO Representative call me with a promise that if I would subscribe to their company's service they would provide me with listings of Bank Owned properties. 1st they ask me to complete BPO(broker Price Opinion) on regular basis at NO charge to them. I would have to complete and return these BPOs in timely manner. If these properties are ever foreclosed on I would be guaranteed a LISTING from the bank that owes the property.

Once I signed on they sent me two properties and I completed the BPOs withing expected time. After search some information about the company I d found out that its a SCAM. so I called them on several occasions and they would NOT answer my phone calls. I emailed them multiple times and they finally called me one day and informed me that I could NOT cancel because I had already completed two BPOs and they will NOT refund my money. Since those two listings were assigned to me. At no point did representative signed up with mentioned to me what their cancellation policy was or if there was even a cancellation policy. At the time I decide okay then if can't cancel then send me more BPOs. I have yet to receive a BPO or a listing from this company.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund and companies like REO-PRO shut down so that the do NOT SCAM other real estate agents of their money. By claiming that they will guarantee you a bank-owed listing is a FRAUD in it self. Because ultimately it's not them to decide who gets the listing it's the BANKs. So they are lying to the agent to get their money and force them to do all the work (BPO) and waste the agents' time.

Review: On Jan.19,2015 [redacted] called me from REO Pro . He said he could guarantee me several listings and get into bank owned properties (REO) . He gave me 4 -5 addresses which were high dollar homes and told me if I do a BPO ( Broker Price Opinion) I stand a good chance of getting the home listing from the bank. It would be a 6% commission for me . He said he works with Wells Fargo & Bank Of America. So he set me up in the system gave me addresses to do BPO on . At the end of the call he said there is a $400.00 set up fee , which I will get back once I sell my first of many home sales coming my way. There were no other referral fees or commission splits I keep up to 6% . After the call a few hours later, I looked up the addresses he gave me - 2 of them were going to court house auction the next day ( Jan. 20th) so then I looked on the Revdex.com website on REO Pro - they had a "D" rating - then I read the complaint comments -all the comments said it was a rip off scam in so many words, and the same thing happened to the other agents. I called that morning asking for a refund. Got voicemail ( Big surprise) Then I emailed them a refund request and told them due to their "D" rating I did not want to work with them. Then I called my credit card company and the file is now in dispute waiting for response.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of my $400.00 - I don't want a check or them to call me . I just want a credit back on the card.

Review: I was contacted by REO PRO and informed that they would like to assign three listings to me for marketing. When I was able to log back into their system, the "assignments" disappeared. I phoned and left a message with [redacted]. Additionally, I left a message on the main company line requesting someone contact me. When I logged in after having left message for [redacted], the items were in the queue once again. Upon further inspection, I realized that these are not listings for which the company has the authority to assign for marketing. Instead, they are only bpos with no negotiation for those services. The company now has my credit card information. They charged my card immediately. No listings--only orders for bpos.Desired Settlement: I would like for the company to cancel the account and refund to my credit card.

Response:

We understand that the customer was dissatisfied with the services provided to them. The customer received a full refund. A copy of the refund check is attached, Exhibit 1.

As for the customer's allegations towards our services, we consider them premature and unsupported. We provided the customer with the log in to our proprietary platform, gave them detailed instructions on how the system works and the best way to use it to maximize customer's satisfaction. Besides broad options of marketing and educational tools which are available to the customer upon receiving the individual log in, the customer was supposed to obtain a minimum of three BPO assignments on which we were to assist the customer. Attached on Exhibit 2 you will see customers profile information. The customer received an access to the platform on 07/01/2014. Attached on Exhibit 3, you will see that the customer received 3 BPO assignments. The customer accepted the assignments, thus agreed to complete BPO forms for all of the 3 assignments and submit it back to us for review and further assistance within the time limit. We want to emphasize here that the customer had an option to Reject the assignments right away so we could find another agent to take on the assignments. However, the customer agreed to work exclusively on those assignments.

If the customer has any further questions, they may contact us directly and we will gladly resolve any concern.

Review: PAID 400.00 TO REO PRO TO GET REO LISTINGS ALL I EVER GOT WAS TO DO FREE BPO Desired Settlement: RETURN MY $400.00

Review: I signed up for a Real Estate related service offered to me by REO Pro. Per their program, for a $400 charge I would have the potential of gaining at least 2 bank owned listings in the next year. After closing the first listing, I would be refunded the initial $400 fee. Additionally, I would use REO Pro’s on-line interface for inputting data to provide valuations of properties which then could become listings for me.

When I attempted to use the on-line interface, it did not perform as expected. I was unable to submit the data I had entered into the system. I attempted to contact REO Pro via two different phone numbers provided when I signed up. Both numbers rang the same main menu which offered several options, including technical service, billing, and the option to leave a message. I selected the technical service option but it did not contact a department. It just brought me back to the main menu. After trying a couple of times, I selected the billing option and it also brought me back to the main menu. I then attempted to leave a message and the mailbox was unavailable. Additionally, I attempted to contact Kathy Sims, the person with whom I initial spoke, via the email address she provided but haven’t received a reply.

I became alarmed, and checked out the company reputation on line. There were multiple sites on which users reported experiences similar to mine. I also discovered sites on which the company was described as a scam. Overall, the feedback regarding the company was overwhelmingly negative.

I do not believe I have been provided the services for which I paid, and want a full refund of my payment. It is not possible to do business with a company with whom I am unable to contact.Desired Settlement: I want my payment refunded. I am not able to do business with a company that has no means of contact.
