Reo Pro Corp Reviews (118)

Review: As a Realtor, I was solicited in my Century 21 office by REOPRO in October 2014 by telephone. After doing a little research on their company and the Bank owned properties they were assigning to me, I decided to pay the one-time $400- fee. This fee was fully guaranteed. If I didn't receive at least one (1) listing within one year from my submitted BPO's (Broker's Price Opinions), that my $400 would be returned in full. I then did comparable research, took photos of 2 properties and submitted the BPO's, and they were accepted. Since I was assigned a new Account Manager by the name of [redacted] in March 2015, I have made numerous phone calls to him from the period of 05/07/15 to 07/21/15. All I keep getting is a message that the voice mail box is full. The general mailbox is also full, no one answers the phone in this place, so it appears they have moved on. I have also sent numerous E-mails to Sonny asking for a response, which I never receive. I feel that this is a scam, and I have lost $400.00 and much valued time preparing these BPO's.Desired Settlement: I would like my $400 fully refunded. I may be contacted on my cell [redacted]

Review: june 30, 2015I initially received a call from representative name [redacted], Asset Mgr back in February 2015. I was told that I would be given brokers point of opinions (BPO's to completed and in return I would be getting bank owned properties to list for the banks and as of present date, june 30th I have not received any listings from the company. I had send several emails to the company([email protected] and [email protected]) requesting to CANCEL the program and request a refund of my $400.00 which was charged to my credit card back on 2/18/2015. As of June 30th, 2015 I still have not received a response from the company regarding my credit of $400.00. Therefore I have no choice but to file a complaint requesting your assistance. Your attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank youDesired Settlement: I am requesting to CANCEL the program and request a refund of my $400.00 back to my VISA credit card number ending in ..........1920 for "SERVICES WHICH WAS NOT AS DESCRIBED and MONEY BACK GUARANTEE IF NOT SATISFIED"

Review: I was solicited by Reo Pro Corp to represent their REO properties (specifically 2 a year) as the licensed listing agent. The fee for the guaranteed listings was $400. I paid, signed up, took their quiz, and was assigned two properties to complete broker price opinions. I completed the assigned tasks, received confirmation of acceptance and then advised to wait until the properties were ready to be listed. I waited a lengthy period of time before calling my assigned representative to get an update. The voice mail message I received was not the person that was assigned as my rep. I didn't give this much thought because people leave jobs every day for one reason or another. I left a voice message with the "new" rep and asked for a return phone call to update me on the status of the properties I was assigned. I called multiple times and not once have I received ANY form of communication or acknowledgement. This prompted a little digging on the internet and saw postings of "fraud". This prompted me to contact the Revdex.com and was advised to file this complaint.Desired Settlement: Ideally, I would like the listings that were promised in the initial sign up but would probably be better off with a refund.

$400.

Review: After signing up with REO Pro Corps for a six month service in February of 2014 and doing 3 BPO's for them, I called my representative for assistance whom I was told had suddenly quit. I was then assigned a new representative who never answered ANY of my phone calls and only returned one or two of the many messages I left. I called customer service but they don't take live calls and rarely return calls within 24 hours like they claim they will. Three months later in May of 2014 I received a call from their sales dept wanting me to sign up with their service. I explained to them that I had already signed up three months ago but she could not find me in their system even though they took my initial payment, accepted my BPO's, and I could still sign into the paid site. I called customer service and I guess you can figure out how that went.Desired Settlement: I would like my purchase refunded in full.

Response:

I received a letter from the Revdex.com regarding an upset customer of ours. I called the customer initially on 5/14/2014 but left them a message. Then I called them every day, but could not reach the customer. I finally spoke to the customer on 5/22/2014. The customer had shared their displeasure on the fact that when they called to speak with one of our agents, they would never picked up their phones. The customer also called our customer service department but stated that they also did not pick up their phone. As a Director of REO Pro, I can reassure you that this is not how we provide a service to our agents. I apologized to the customer and gave them my direct line. I also provided the customer with an assurance of how we work and asked if they would like to continue to work with us. The customer stated that they would like to continue working with us.

This letter is to summarize how REO Pro took actions after we received a complaint letter from the Revdex.com

case [redacted]

Review: [redacted] from REO Pro Corp has billed my credit card $400 dollars with the agreement of 2 BPO's and listings. I later received an email that this company was a scam and when I tried to call back, the number was a non-working number, multiple emails were sent and they all came back as invalid. I received no answer whatsoever. I have read different reviews about this company and all agree that this is a scam, similar cases as mine have happened to many others.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $400 that were charged AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Response:

We understand that the customer was dissatisfied with the services provided to them. The customer received a refund check for the full amount on 6/27/2014. The customer had cleared the check; the copy is attached.

As for the customer's allegations towards our services, we consider them premature and unsupported. The customer received an access to use our online services on 6/12/2014 (Exhibit 1).The customer was acknowledged that this access gives them a year of services with our company. On 6/12/2014 the customer received two BPO assignments from us (Exhibit 2).

If the customer has any further questions, they may contact us directly, and we will gladly resolve any concern.

Review: I have an email dated May 11, 2015 from REO Pro, stating that they have granted me a $400 refund, for which they have not followed through. In that email, I was simply asked to provide my mailing address for the check. It was provided on May 11, and again on June 5. I asked again for an update on June 11, with no response. I will provide a copy of this email, at your request.

REO Pro made a "glorified" presentation by telephone on Decmeber 5, 2014 to me by [redacted], one of their "asset managers." He promised future listings to our real estate firm in exchange for a $400 upfront fee, and the assignment of 4 homes in my immediate area that I was required to complete lengthy BPOs on.....Broker Price Opinions, much like an online appraisal for each home. The assignments were completed by mid-December, but I was never ever contacted again by any member of REO Pro.

After presenting "what his company did and provided" on December 5, I was asked quickly for my credit card #. I should have researched REO Pro on the internet before providing that information, as it appears MANY other complaints have been filed with the Maryland Revdex.com for the same issue.. After researching their firm and finding the D- rating by the Revdex.com, I immediately contacted [redacted] with my serious concerns. He explained that their "policies had changed," agreeing to email a guarantee that if I was not offered the listings on the 4 assignments, I would be entitled to a full refund. My last conversation with him was on that day, December 5, 2014.

I April, I called REO Pros office and asked to speak to a supervisor, to request a refund. I was told that "my asset manager, [redacted], was no longer with the company." That's not they was REO listings are handled. If one asset manager left a company, it would be typical that a broker would be advised as to who would be the brokers "new asset manager." I was required to leave a message. 3-5 days later, a man named "[redacted]" called back for me, but I was unavailable to take his call. Despite my calling back to REO Pro at least 5 times, I never received a return phone call again, and it appears nearly impossible to talk to a "live" person in their office once they have your money, despite calling repeatedly during regular business hours.

I apologize in advance for all of the detail in this message, but I believe REO Pro to use deceptive business practices. Real estate brokers "want" real estate listings badly, as I did. The PROMISE that listings will be provided by REO Pro to the broker leads to a "quick" reaction to jump and do business with their firm. I believe other brokers will be "taken" in the future, as I was. It also appears that this company has changed their name at least once, probably to avoid paying refunds that are requested, due to REO Pro not keeping their promise of providing listings to brokers like me,

I request that you contact REO Pro, and assist in obtaining my $400 refund--before they cease operations under that business name.Desired Settlement: Immediate refund of the entire $400, mailed to:

Review: I am a licensed Realtor and was contacted by Reo Pro in June 2014. I was told I would receive reo listing assisgnsments on properties that I completed bpo's for in the event these properties went into foreclosure. In order to receive this opportunity I was required to pay a $400 fee. I was promised that if I didn't receive a listing within 1 year I would receive a full refund. After completing a few free bpo's I called to check on the status and was told these assignments were in process and I should receive a call back in a few days with more details. I never received a call and my call was never returned. I recently attempted to call and request a refund since it has been a year with out receiving listings however no one answers and all the voicemail inboxes have been full for weeks. I have also not received a reply to numberous emails, It almost seems like they are out of buisness. Beware of Reo pro!Desired Settlement: A full $400 refund as promised.

Reo Pro is a total scam. They took $400 from me and promised me that I would have exclusive exclusive territories in South Florida and several REO properties for my real estate agents. I own Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Florida First and I have over 250 agents serving South Florida. They contacted us out for our experience and ability to handle all of SOuth Florida. I even had my agents do some work for them and they kept promising we would be getting the deal. The deals were with the lender and any day we should be getting the real estate listings. They really need to be shut down!!!

Review: The company is not honoring its guarantee. They offered a full money back guarantee if after 1 year of the service the customer (me) did not obtain an listing for the properties assigned by them. I have called and left them emails. They did respond to my first request for a refund, stating that they would send the request to their accounting department for processing. That was almost two months ago and they are not responding to my follow up emails. I am unable to leave a voicemail on their number because their mailbox is full. They do not answer their phones. I intend to file civil litigation if this is not resolved by Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I am demanding a full refund as was guaranteed by the company. Should I not receive it, I will file for civil litigation for additional damages.

Review: I was contacted by [redacted] of REO PRO Corp on Fedruary 25, 2015 regarding REO Properties and being a BPO/Listing Agent. I was required to pay a fee of $400 and received a welcome package with the REO Pro Money Back Guarantee. I received two properties (total) to do BPO on (which I completed). After that I received one email from REO PRO’s automated system stating that the BPO’s were approved. I did not hear anything from them. After a month of this, I decided to cancel my service. I spoke w/ [redacted] and he told me that he would get the accounting manager [redacted] to give me a call back. Well.. I never received that call. The following day I called and got [redacted] again. He remembered speaking w/ me and said that he would refund my money and that he would overnight a check to me for the $400.00. Two weeks later and I still have not received my check nor can I get anyone on the phone anymore (my calls go to a voicemail) and my emails have not been answered. I have not received any correspondence from them to date in regards to my refund. I want a full refund.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund ($400.00).

Review: REO PRO Corp called me in March and promised I would get up to 4 real estate listings within a 6 month period. I have not heard back from them in 10 weeks. I did some free work for them. I called to complain and wanted my $400 back. They refused. I talked to a [redacted] that promised to have 3 agents call me back with testimonials. None ever did.

I think this is a scam, They continue to promise and fail to deliver.

Many other agents across US are getting the same treatmentDesired Settlement: Get my $400 back

Response:

We issued the full credit to the customer. We were unsuccessful in attempt to reach the customer regarding their assignments for over four weeks. Then, we received a Revdex.com compliant from the customer.

We tried to contact the customer again, left multiple voice mails and emails. Finally, we got to talk to the customer on 5/19/2014. The customer was very unclear explaining their compliant to us. From our side, we were always monitoring customer's files and work, but we could not reach the customer, and the customer was not responding to us. We are willing to refund the customer and discontinue any working relationships with them.

Review: On 7/21/14 I paid $400 to this company. They sent me Broker Price Opinions to do for banks on foreclosed properties. I did the work for 12 homes and was guaranteed that I would get assigned 2 listings from this work. After those were completed I was never assigned any more BPO's and received no listings. My original account manager was Michael Mclean. on 12/23/14 I spoke to [redacted]-account manager [redacted]. He told me that if I received no listing by 7/18/15, they would refund my money. 7 attempts to contact since. Voicemail box full on all extensions and no response to emails.

Below is one email received from him:

to me

Hey [redacted],

This is [redacted], Account Manager here at REO Pro. We spoke earlier in the week about trying to get a hold of a new asset manager for you. Since it has been awhile for the account not being over seen, your account has been directed straight to our Director [redacted]. Moving forward he will be your go to guy, just wanted to give you the heads up so you are aware. Thanks and hope you had a great HolidayDesired Settlement: Refund of $400 as promised by [redacted]account manager.

Review: I was contacted in June 2014 from this company to get some foreclosure listings. I signed up and paid them $400. I did 2 BPO's (broker price opinion) for them and did not get the listings. I asked for a refund because I was told I would receive 3-4 listings per month. After 3 months with no listings from them, I requested a refund and was told that if they didn't get me at least 2 listings within 12 months that they would refund me my money. It has now been over a year and I have requested my money and they will not reply to emails and their voicemail box is full.Desired Settlement: I want my full $400 refund as per their agreement and email from [redacted] the director of REO/Short Sales. Below is an email from him on Wed 9/3/2014 4:48 PM.

My refund policy is a result driven policy. What I mean by that is, it is an objective minded guarantee that stipulates that if I do not provide you twice over the course of 12 months (at a minimum) your name as the listing agent on MLS, then I would refund your $400.00. Your account was activated on 6/12, and therefore is a little less than 3 months in working with you. We would have to work the course of 12 months before issuing a refund, in the event that I do not provide you with 2 listings.

Thank you,

--

Director of REO/Short Sales

Review: I was contacted by [redacted] of ReoPro Corp on February 27, 2015 regarding REO Properties and being a BPO Listing Agent. She said she was an asset manager. I was required to pay a fee of $400 and received a welcome package with the REO Pro Money Back Guarantee that states the REOPRO GUARANTEES THAT IF IN 6 MONTHS WE DO NOT PROVIDE YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO MARKET OR SELL A PROPERTY WE WILL REFUND YOUR INITIAL SET UP FEE OF $400. I received 2 properties to do BPO in which I completed. I also received an e-mail from [redacted] stating: As of now, the lenders are requesting preliminary work on the properties. They need exterior BPO on properties within the next 5 business days. The BPO's that is being requested, you will also be responsible for listing, marketing and selling the properties as well as being a listing agent that will be representing me and the lenders in 20 zip codes that you service. After a few weeks I contacted Karmen again to find out why I hadn't received any information regarding the listing or feedback from my BPOs. She said she was in direct contact with the lender and I should be receiving the information any day. In the meantime, I was given two more properties to do BPOs on so that I could build a pipeline. After another week went by, still no listings. So, I became suspicious and did some in depth research on REOPRO Corp. After my research I sent an e-mail to Karmen on April 6th and advise her of my finding and to request a refund. I never received a response after emailing and contacting her several times. Then, I contacted the company directly, but to no avail. I was advised I would need to speak with John ? the director about a refund. I was then transferred to a general voicemail where I left a message. After several attempts I was told a John would be contacting me to process my refund request. I was never contacted. After extreme frustration, I contacted my bank. A temporary credit was issued to m account, and I thought this nightmare was over! Well, it isn't! REO PRO Corp had the audacity to charge it back to my account! My bank stated I have no recourse because they confirmed I engaged in business with them! [redacted]'s number is now disconnected and no one at REO PRO Corp answers the phone and the voicemail is ALWAYS full. Go figure! I emailed I did receive a few calls that I missed from [redacted] and have left many many voice message back to [redacted] in which, I have not received a call back yet in regards to the refund. I have all called the main number and it is always a voicemail and [redacted] is only a voicemail also. NO calls back regarding my refund as stated in their Guarantee for over two months now. I just want a refund as promised.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of my $400. This company is a SCAM and should be sued and no longer allowed to conduct business!

Review: This company called me and promised that they would give me listings if I paid them a fee to join their network. They had me do BPO's for several homes that were supposedly in default and would in turn become REO's and I would obtain the listing to sell those homes. I was told that if after 6 months I do not receive an assignment that I would get a refund of the fee I paid to join. I emailed and called the representative several times requesting either a listing or my money back. I have not been able to reach them. The guy who signed me up is J[redacted]. I paid him $400 over the phone with a credit card.Desired Settlement: I want to my money back.

Review: Was contacted by [redacted] from REO Pro in May 2014. He state that he had 2 properties that needed to be listed for sale immediately I paid $400 that guaranteed I would be the listing agent on the properties and I was also guaranteed I would get at least 2more listings within the first 6 months. I did the BPO's and received nothing in return. It has been six months and I have received no property assignments from REO Pro. When I contact the REO Pro offices to get my refund I just get a voice mail with no return call. On 10/23/14 I was contacted by an Israel Godson who claimed to be an Asset Manager for REO Pro. He said he had 3 properties that needed to be listed immediately. After speaking with him he indicated that I needed to join REO Pro in order to get these properties. After I informed him that I was already a member of REO Pro and I would gladly accept the properties he told me that I cannot work with two different Asset Managers. I told him that [redacted] has not sent me any properties and I would like to work with him. He transferred my profile so I could work with him as my Asset Manager. After being on the phone with him for 30 minutes getting the transfer completed. He told me if I wanted to work under him I had to pay another $400. At that point I became very upset and indicated I was already a member. He told me he would look into it and call me back tomorrow. At that point I googled the company and read many, many many reviews of how they ripped off many people who never received any property listings from them. At this point I would like a refund in full.Desired Settlement: I need to receive a $400 cash refund from REO Pro. I will not accept a check as I'm afraid it will bounce.

To Whom It May Concern,

Please see the email we sent to the customer and customer's copy of the refund receipt. If the customer has any further questions, they may contact us directly and we will gladly resolve any concern.

Review: In June 20, 2014, I was called from [redacted] at REO Pro and told that he had two REO properties in my area that he could assign the listing to me. I had to pay $400 (via my Amex Card) and was had two do the BPO on the property before it would be assigned to me. I completed the one bpo on 06/25/2014 and the other on 07/02/2014. In the year since paying the fee I have not receive either of the two promised listings. I have asked for a refund from the company and was told I had to wait the year before asking for a refund. I waited the year and still no refund.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of my $400 as I upheld my original contract terms and the company did not.

Review: I am a Real Estate Broker. On January 7, 2015, I paid this company $400 for their website access in order to perform necessary tasks for listing two alleged assignments of reo properties. I spent numerous hours preparing and submitting Broker Price Opinions on both of these properties. Both properties turned out to still be occupied by the owners; therefore, no listings ever occurred. I contacted them twice suggesting that this was fraudulent practice basically charging me to do work for them.Desired Settlement: REO Pro should refund my money and never contact me again, or any other Broker for that matter. They should not be allowed to do business.

Review: I was solicited as a licensed Realtor by Reo Pro Corp for foreclosure listings, which is an active part of my business. They spent a good 30-40 minutes on the phone with me discussing the opportunity and offered me 2 listing jobs immediately with the speculation that I pay a $400 fee over the phone using my credit card. I was hesitant and they also included that my money was guaranteed returned IF I did not receive a listing assignment in a certain time frame. The catch for me was that the rep I spoke too was assigning me 2 listings supposedly which I have never received to date. The rep I spoke with was John Harrison. I initiated this service and made my $400 payment back on February 25, 2015. I also did some work for these assignments BUT to this date I have never received a single email or response to my communication. I find this disturbing that they are taking my hard earned money and do not follow through with their end of the bargain.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a full refund back to my credit card for the start up fee because as they had stated in my initial conversation, if I do not receive a listing within the first 30 days or something, I could get my money back. I have not received any listings to date. I think this deserves a full refund of $400.

Review: I bought a REO program from the company and they promised to give me REO Work. After 25 days I tried to cancel and they would not let me and get my money back. I became aware of the problem with the company when they called and tried to sell me the same service again. They told me the per the agreement that I had to wait one year to get my money back. It has been one year and I never received any of the services they promised and now will not take any phone calls. All I want is my 400 dollars back that they promised in their warranty.Desired Settlement: Just get my 400 dollars back because they did not make good on any of their promises
