Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Although they repeatedly claim the payment has been received, as does Care Centrix, I  have continued to receive collection notices since September 2014 (just received one for January 2015).  I was told it would take 30 days to clear back in September 2014 when I made the full payment?   Once I  no longer  receive these  collection notices,  I will  accept their statement.
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

This "agency" is claiming that I owe NEW JERSEY E-ZPass $53.14. This is untrue due to the fact that I do NOT have a NEW JERSEY E-ZPass account. This bill and Company is a scam and I want them investigated. I looked them up online and I found multiple links of complaints back to 2007. If this is...

effecting my Credit Report, I would want this corrected. Thanks!

Retrieval Masters Creditors Bureay. Interesting that this is their review site and that they are do egotistical that they want you to put their name in the review. When I was wakened by their call this morning by a call from a local number, 210 area code San Antonio Texas, and spoke with a person who refused to tell me why they were calling I figured it was just another scam caller stealing a local phone number. After I called a few times I am convinced that it is a real company that is so ashemed of itself that it hides behind a faphone bankke caller ID ie they generate fake phone numbers. Dishonest from the start. Their corporate number gets you routed back to the phone bank.. None.net of this is honest, it might be legal but it isn't honest. As a minor issue their operators are ignorant. Well into the motning they, multiple times, answer "good afternoon". It is called afternoon because it is past noon. Lack of common sense and honor.

Review: It's a collection agency of which I never heard supposed to be collecting for NJ EZpass on a dispute that we never resolved with NJ EZpass. There were 2 and I resolved one with NJ EZpass directly so I don't know why Retrieval Masters is involved with this one or if they are legitimately representing NJ EZPass. You can make online payments or pay by phone, but they charge $5 to make payments in this way. So I opted to have my bank send a check to them instead and they did on 02/**/15, promised delivery no later than 02/**/15. The check has not cleared as of this day 03/**/15. On February **, I first inquired as to why the check hasn't been processed and was told it take as long as 3 weeks to post. So I expected it to hit my account the week of 02/**/15 but it hasn't to date. Today, Retrieval Masters told me to stop the check and pay online where they will collect a fee. I have asked my bank to investigate the delivery of the check, and I have also confirmed the address it was sent to with Retrieval Masters today. I believe that they have the check or had it but want me to pay a fee to them to pay online or by phone, so did not process the check. I realize mail gets lost but it's something about this company that doesn't seem right. My bank sends checks on my behalf to pay bills all the time. This is the first time it's claimed not received. I will have to pay to place a stop and pay them to pay online or by phone, all so that they can collect $5 for this service. Something is not right. I wonder how many have had this problem with this company.Desired Settlement: Post my check and get it over with. I want done with this company and the situation. If my bank can prove it was delivered but they won't post it, I want them to pay for the stop payment on the check so I can either send another check or have then to forego any service fee for me to pay it online at their website or by phone. I don't want to have to pay any fees because of this. I just want the bill paid and over it. The initial bill that I am trying to pay is not valid but to settle it, I went ahead and sent a check to put this all behind me and now this.....

thank you for your time.

Review: Lapcorp generated a bill in error and reported to collections; however they notified Retriebal that the bill was corrected in error. Nevertheless, Retribel b reported the bill to the credit bureau as unpaid.Desired Settlement: This bill should have never been reported to the credit bureau because Lapcorp told the collection agency that this bill was generated in error. Please correct and remove from my credit report.

Dear [redacted] please be advised of the following, we have reviewed your complaint and have found that our client Laboratory Corp placed the account with our agency on 10/**/2014 to recover funds for lab services provided on 3/**/2014. On 12/**/2014 they recalled the account. Upon notice of the recall we removed your account from our collection process and sent a request the the credit bureaus to remove any negative marks associated with this account. Please give up to 15 days for the process to finalize before checking your report. Please let us know if we may be of further assistance

Review: I am disputing the collection practice of Retrieval Masters Creditors Bureau aka American Medical Association. I have never received a validation of the debt and received notice that a bill was paid AFTER it showed up on my credit report. However in 9/2013, a payment of 425.00 was paid to the original creditor. I called the collection agency right away after reviving notice that the non payment was to appear on my credit and to ask for a validation and was advised that I must write a letter to the company to request validation. It seemed erroneous for the simple fact that a debt validation was not provided before it was added to my credit file. Moreover, under HIPPA I believe my rights have been violated. I have never authorized any of my file to be shared with a third party. I ask that all entries be deleted from my credit file immediately.Desired Settlement: Delete all entries from my credit file.

Response:

I was on personal trip in Montevideo, when credit card made a chip update on it, canceling the previous one, and issuing a new card. This affected the billing for my Ezpass account.Ezpass with no attempt to call me, they send a notice regular mail, sent the account to collections. costing me over 90, instead of the 30.11 that I initially own.

Their system is abusive, and their customer service is below average, taking advantage of situations, that could be easily resolve.

Review: I have received multiple statements notifying me that I have an unpaid bill with Verizon Wireless of $147.02. When I contacted Verizon Wireless they found that my account was closed and all bills were paid. My balance is $0.00. When trying to contact Retrieval Masters Creditors Bureau, I am directed only to a payment center. This leads me to believe this company is an unauthorized creditor company and fraudulent.Desired Settlement: I would like this company to figure out where this problem lies, stop contacting me, and reimburse me for the damage it has done to my credit rating.

Review: On June [redacted], I received a collections letter from RMCB (Retrieval-Masters Creditors Bureau). This letter stated that I owed [redacted] a debt of $61.65. On [redacted], I sent RMCB a letter asking them to verify this debt. No response. I contacted the original creditor on July **th and received a letter from their representative ( Ms [redacted]) who noted the account was paid. I sent her a copy of the cancelled check in the amount of $61.65. I continued to receive collection letters from RMCB on August **, September **h and October **h. All demanding payment. On September ** I sent RMCB another letter with a copy of the cancelled check showing payment in full. They have refused to acknowledge my payment and have refused to cease collection activity. They have also refused to remove this activity from my credit report. I am past the point of being cordial with this company. I will not make an additional payment on this account when I have already settled this debt with the original creditor.Desired Settlement: I would like a letter sent to me in regards to this account being paid in full. I would like an apology for the company refusing to even read the letters I have sent them. I would like this removed from my credit report as it should have not been in collections in the first place.

Response:

In response to complaint ID [redacted] please be advised of the following,

On 3/**/2013 our client [redacted] placed account number [redacted] with our agency in the amount of $61.65

On 6/**/2013 we received correspondence stating that the account was paid.

On 7/**/2013 our client [redacted] sent us an account adjustment of $61.65 closing the account.

On 8/**/2013 our client [redacted] sent another account for the same consumer in the amount of $61.65 this is common as many consumers place multiple orders with our client.

After reviewing the complaint and contacting our client in it's regards, it was determined that the second account of $61.65 was sent in error. The account is closed and our

collection efforts have ceased. We apologize for any concern caused by this misunderstanding.

RMCB has not reported any information regarding this account to any credit bureau's.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Best regards,

I called the business as directed by the notice that was sent to my address to resolve an EZ-Pass collection.

1. The violation occurred through my wife while I was deployed. The first encounter she had with them, she was allowed to pay. After that they would give her no information because it was under my name. When she informed them that she had power of attorney for both vehicles, they informed her it didn't matter. Yet when I spoke to them on 2/*/2016 they informed me all she had to do was fax it in.

2. On 2/*/2016 when speaking with operator C12 and asking what was left on the balance owed, I was informed it was only $15.90. I informed her I was showing a statement of $137.00. She assured me it was only $15.90. Again, I asked her if she could check under my name to see if there were any other monies owed. Again, she assured me it was only $15.90. I paid the remaining balance and took down her name and employee ID number and told her to give my wife permission to handle these items if other matters should arise.

3. Approximately 20 minutes after getting off the phone I had my wife contact again to verify. My wife got on the phone with operator C40 and gave her the paperwork information in regards to the amount owed for $137.00. She was again told that she could receive no information due to it being under my name. I then got on the phone to speak with Operator C40 who told me it was a different account and she didn't have permission. I proceeded to inform her that I just spoke to a representative and was told it was only $15.90 owed and that there were no other accounts open. She said "That's not how it works. We cannot search on your name and address to find any of your information". But that is exactly how my wife had them look it up previously. I made a second payment for the amount of $137.00 owed and then was told there was a $4 and change surcharge. I informed her that I was not told of a surcharge in the previous transaction. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was just told that someone would be listening but did not speak to me. Again, prior to getting off the phone I asked if they could ensure me that there are no other accounts open under my name and was told again that thy cannot look up the information that way.

Throughout the whole process I did become agitated with lack of information given for something I had to pay on. The individuals spoken to were abrasive and lacked the knowledge to answer my questions.

Review: This agency is attempting to collect an illegitimate debt that has already been paid. I anticipate that this agency will falsely report this paid debt to credit agencies illegitimately which is common practice for these agencies. It also constitutes illegitimate harassment. The agencies reference Pin No. is: [redacted] - Invoice No. [redacted]Desired Settlement: Collection amount of $67.45 No Less.
