In response to complaint# on 10/**/2013 our client Savvier acting on behalf of it's product name [redacted] place account number [redacted] with our agency in the amount of $19.90 on 10/**/2013 our office received correspondence from the consumer disputing this debt, we closed the account on that day and our collection efforts have ceased our client has been made aware of such.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Best regards,

Review: I called the company today as I am in receipt of a collections letter. This is your DBA American Medical Collection Agency. After noting that the Dates of Service on my account are within a month a part, I requested information regarding the original creditor/SOA. As she told me to call your client (original creditor), I inquired and stated I didn't understand why, as a collection agency, she wasn't able to provide me with this information. As I didn't understand why she couldn't provide me the information, she hung up on me. I then called back and spoke with a male. I requested the previous collector's [redacted] to which I was told the female didn't leave notes on the account and he can't tell who it was. I then asked for a [redacted]. The male then yelled at me (yes, yelled) that he wasn't going to get me a [redacted] and then hung up.

As these calls are recorded, I invite you to listen to these two conversations coming in from my number at approximately 4:49 Arizona time on 4/**. You will note that I was professional and these two collectors engaged in illegal collection practices by refusing validation of the debt. I didn't even say that I wouldn't pay. It's a whopping $50! All I wanted was to verify information as the dates seemed too close for two blood work-ups.Desired Settlement: I want my account cancelled and the mar on my credit report deleted immediately. Legally, you need to provide me with information, as to which I have been refused. I will deal with the original creditor on my own.

Response:

Dear [redacted], please be advised of the following as it pertains to your complaint filed with the Revdex.com & the two accounts placed with our agency to recover outstanding balances for lab work provided by our client Laboratory Corporation of America.

Both accounts have been closed, itemized statements have been requested and will be sent to the address on file. Our client has been notified of such.

All calls were reviewed and no instances of screaming were found. Additional coaching and counseling were given to the representatives to correct what we believe was the cause of your frustration.

Please let us know if we may be of further assistance.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: This company has contacted me twice before, the most recent time being today on 9/**/2015, in regards to a bill from Quest Diagnostics from quite some time ago.

This bill was paid directly to quest diagnostics, the bill shows up as paid on quest's website, and I have directed this collection agency to contact quest the first time they called.

The second time they call I again directed them to contact quest since the bill was paid and not to call me anymore.

They called again today on 9/**/2015 and I again told them to contact quest diagnostics about the bill and I reiterated that I had told them not to call me at anymore once prior, and that should they contact me again I would file harassment charges as these calls are unwarranted.Desired Settlement: CALL QUEST AND VERIFY PAYMENT AND DO NOT CONTACT ME EVER AGAIN IN REGARDS TO THIS BILL WHICH HAS BEEN PAID!!!

GET IT TOGETHER!!!

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: I received a collection notice (Sept 2014) on a medical bill from [redacted] (used by my [redacted]) to collect payment...they had sent this $97.06 charge to a collection for charges from February 2013...I was not aware of this bill I assume due to a move from Maine to Florida. Once I was aware of the bill, I paid the amount in full on 9/*/14. I have continued to receive collection notices each month. My attempts to resolve this result in one company blaming the other. I am told I am all set, it will not affect my credit, etc. and the bill is paid and yet I continue to receive collection notices monthly. I am already under stress due to my medical condition and this only exacerbates that stress. I do not appreciate this company telling me the bill is paid (both companies have told me this) and yet I continue to get these notices. I wonder how this affecting my credit as well? Most recent was received today 1/*/2015. I did not call today but have each other time with no resolution.Desired Settlement: I would like this issue resolved as soon as possible with a notice from them stating it was paid and that I owe nothing. They claim they know this yet I continue to receive notices?

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Although they repeatedly claim the payment has been received, as does Care Centrix, I have continued to receive collection notices since September 2014 (just received one for January 2015). I was told it would take 30 days to clear back in September 2014 when I made the full payment? Once I no longer receive these collection notices, I will accept their statement.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: I reviewed my Equifax credit report and noticed that Retrieval Masters Creditors Bureau Inc had placed a collections record on my credit report. Per previous Revdex.com complaint with CCS companies ([redacted]), I thought that this issue had been resolved. Per the CCS companies response to the Revdex.com in Complaint Number [redacted], the alleged account had been closed and they hadn't reported this inquiry on my credit report:

Business Response: Our office is in receipt of the complaint filed by [redacted]. We greatly appreciate this opportunity to respond.

Contrary to [redacted]’s concerns, CCS was in compliance with all applicable regulations. That being said, please be advised that we have closed this account with our office. Please note that although we have closed the account, we cannot control any actions our client may take in regard to this matter. Also, please be assured that we did not send this account to any credit bureau. We trust this resolves your concerns.

With that being said, when I contacted Equifax regarding this inquiry, they advised that CCS had sold the alleged debt to Retrieval Masters Creditors Bureau Inc. At this time, I have not received any documentation from Retrieval Masters Creditors Bureau Inc, and I believe per the previous comment from CCS companies, that this particular inquiry should be removed from my credit report IMMEDIATELY. My next action will be to report Retrieval Masters Creditors Bureau Inc to the Federal Trade Commission.Desired Settlement: Remove inquiry and collections account from my credit report and send documentation for my records via standard mail

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: This company is attempting to collect $170.40 related to a test I had completed on 8/*/13. When I first received the bill from the laboratory I contacted my insurance company about it. Aetna stated that the laboratory and sent a duplicate charge and they had paid the legitimate charge at a negotiated rate. They clearly stated that I did not owe the this money and they contacted the laboratory.

I still have these documents and can submit them as evidence.

I received the first notice from this collection agency around February of this year. I contacted them and explained the situation and they asked me to main the information provided by Aetna stating I did not owe this money. I mailed the information and have heard nothing else from them until today when I received another collection notice. I called three times. The first time the person did not give me her name, when I tried explaining the situation she hung up on me. The second time I asked for a [redacted] and was transferred to multiple telephone operators until someone finally hung up on me. The third time I spoke with [redacted] who refused to let me speak with a [redacted] and then hung up on me.

I have negative and inaccurate information reported about me on my credit rating. I have no idea how to prove that this is not a delinquent account.Desired Settlement: I want this company to stop contacting me with notices of delinquency.

I want a statement from them agreeing that I do not owe this money.

I want them to report their error to the credit agencies to help repair my credit.

Response:

Dear [redacted], Please be advised of the following as it pertains to your complaint.

Our client American Esoteric Laboratories place account number [redacted] with our agency to recover an outstanding balance for laboratory services provided on 8/*/2013.

on 1/**/2014 the above mentioned account was placed on a 60 day hold top allow time for the requested information from your insurance carrier stating that they were billed in duplication. the information was not received.

on 5/*/2014 we received a call and the information was requested again this time via facsimile, to date we have not received the information.

As per this dispute our client was contacted and there records show no indication of a conversation/communication with Aetna.

the information provided by our client was that services provided on 8/*/2013 were paid by your insurance carrier. The lab work ordered by [redacted] on 8/*/2013 were denied as patient not eligible.

Our system does not reflect your account being reported to any of the Credit Bureaus by AMCA if you have any information that shows differently please send that information to my attention ###-###-#### Facsimile or in[redacted] attn [redacted]. if a billing error was made we will correct the information. Please note we can not remove any information from your credit report that we did not place.

we look forward to assisting you with a resolution to this issue. In the meantime your account has been removed from our collection process and returned to the original [redacted].

please let us know if we may be of further assistance.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I find it unfortunate that the author of this response fails to address the unhelpful and blatantly rude behavior of the staff. I also find it reprehensible that this company failed to verify this debt at the start of their effort to collect this money, or after my phone call in which I explained the situation. I mailed this information the first time I spoke with this company and faxed the information the second time. I find it unlikely that neither of these documents made it to their office.

The statement I received did not explicitly state that I do not now or ever at any time owe this money. If I receive an official letter with this information from the company for my records I will agree that my complaint is resolved.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Our records indicate that the account was not reported to the credit bureau. Our request for any information that states otherwise has not been received at the provided email and or facsimile provided. With the information provided we can not make the requested statement. We can state that the account has been removed from our collection process and to our knowledge has not been reported to any of the credit bureaus.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Clearly this company has determined that I do not owe this money or they would not be removing me from their files. All I am asking is to have this in writing so that the next time they try to bill me for this debt that I do not, and did not owe I have it in writing and do not need to go to the Revdex.com to get it resolved. I believe that this company is simply trying to avoid admitting to wrong doing. They should have confirmed that I owed this debt BEFORE contacting me to collect the money.

Review: Last year, I received a collections notice regarding an alleged debt of mine that is not valid. It was for medical laboratory services received on a date for which I did not receive medical services. I sent a formal request in writing, via certified mail, to the collections agency and the billing party, categorically disputing the charges and requesting an itemization and description of the charges if they believed them to be valid. I did not receive any follow-up communication from this party for two years, so I assumed that the issue had been resolved. I have since received an additional follow up document from this party on 1/**/2015, despite having written to them in the past, verified they have received my written correspondence via certified mail, and no further information has been sent other than to say that this amount is still due. This is not a valid debt and I believe the party is acting in defiance of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. I have a copy of the letter that was sent that I would like to attach to the complaint for review as well.Desired Settlement: I request that they stop sending me notices, stop threatening to report my debt to a credit bureau, and to send a formal acknowledgment that this debt is not valid and will not be provided to any of the credit bureaus.

Response:

Dear [redacted], please be advised of the following as it pertains to your complaint filed with the Revdex.com. On November [redacted] , 2014 our client Laboratory Corporation of America placed the account number referenced in your complaint with our agency to recover fundsfor laboratory services provided on 8/**/2011. The services were ordered by [redacted]. On February [redacted] 2013 we received a request for and itemized statement to be sent to you in regards to this bill your account was placed on a 60 day hold during that period. On 12/**/2013 our client recalled your account and our collection efforts ceased. Any information sent to the credit bureau was removed. Once our client recalls the account we have no control over their actions. In this case the account was returned to us on 1/**/2015. On 2/**/2015 we received your dispute and immediately removed your account from our collection process, your credit has not been effected in any way by our efforts and our client has been made aware of such. Please accept our apology and let us know if we may be of further assistance.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. We will continue to follow up regarding our complaint against the collections agent themselves.

Sincerely,

Review: I have received a bill from this company for a charge incurred by my adult daughter from [redacted] billed my insurance company instead of my duaghter's insurance. My insurance refused to pay since she isn't covered, and instead of billing the correct insurance [redacted] turned it over to this collection agency. The matter has been fully explained to [redacted] but they continue to threaten to turn the account over on my credit report. I have asked them to research the validity of this with [redacted] of which they refuse to do. [redacted] as also been unwilling to follow through with billing the correct insurance and simply says it is in the hands of [redacted].Desired Settlement: Stop collection procedures, stop contacting me, and remove the bill completely.

On 10/**/2014 as advised we received your correspondence disputing and demanding us to cease and desist. Your account was removed from our collection process and our client was notified of such. Any negative marks on your credit have been removed.

Review: I received my FIRST communication from Retrieval Masters Credit Bureau (RMCB) dated Jan **, 2014. Even though the letterhead says RMCB, it states I owe [redacted] Credit Services.

The letter had the mini-Miranda warning stating I had 30 days to dispute the validity of the debt.

I did just that. On Feb **, 2014 @ 9:18a CT, I faxed a copy of my debt validation request. I also put a copy in the mail. This is within the 30 day period and at that time [redacted] nor RMCB was NOT reporting on my Credit Report. I also have a copy of my fax confirmation showing that it went through successfully and they did receive it.

As of today, I still HAVE NOT received ANYTHING validating this debt and verifying it belongs to me or that [redacted] is able to collect upon it. Even though the debt HAS NOT been validated this debt, [redacted] (not RMCB) is now reporting on my credit report as of today.

I called [redacted] to find out what's going on and their told me that RMCB services the account and [redacted] doesn't have access. If [redacted] doesn't have access why are they showing as a tradeline and not RMCB?

I called RMCB and they confirmed they received my Debt Validation request and the account is closed as of now, but they can't explain why [redacted] is reporting to the Credit Bureaus.

Someone needs to be held accountable.Desired Settlement: [redacted] Credit Services & RMCB needs to remove itself from my credit reports from all 3 bureaus. They need to follow the laws of the FDCPA and validate the debt as requested. They won't be able, but that is my right as a consumer and what they are committing right now is defamation of character but posting this collection account to my credit reports AFTER I successfully requested validation within the 30 day period.

Dear [redacted], please be advise of the following as it pertains to your complaint filed with the Revdex.com (ID# [redacted])

On 11/**/2013 our client The Swiss Colony placed account number [redacted]with our agency to recover a balance of $539.14.

On 11/**/2013 we received a payment of $60.00 from our website as a one-time Visa credit card payment the notification was sent to your hotmail address.

On 01/**/2014 we received via mail a payment of $30.00 the dollar amount was written clearly on your pay stub & signed.

On 02/**/2014 we received via mail a payment stub with a Visa credit card # ending in [redacted]with no amount signed and dated. Here's where the confusion came about.

Typically when transactions are processed with no amount shown the balance due on the account is used. This is not done to be "sneaky" the assumption is that the consumer wishes to make a payment.

I have attached a copy of the pay stub/s submitted to RMCB for processing for your review,

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and in no means was this transaction processed with the intent of causing you any troubles.

Please let us know if we may be of further assistance.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

Please be aware that the attached information has NOTHING to do with me as MY NAME is [redacted] and they've disclosed information in regards to a customer name Chrtisy [redacted]. That should definitely classify as a breach of privacy and I hope the BB takes notice of this.

The reply from Retrieval Masters Creditors Bureau has NOTHING to do my account. In fact, the information they've disclosed DOES NOT belong to me.

The account they're attempting to collect upon is for a Verizon Wireless Account (NOT THE SWISS COLONY AS THEY'RE REPLY STATES) , for the amount of $234.55 (NOT 539.14 AS THEY'RE REPLY STATES).

Also, I'VE NEVER MADE ANY TYPE OF PAYMENT to RMCB because of the fact that I dispute the validity of this debt and their ability to collect upon it.

I've attached a COPY OF THE COLLECTION NOTICE THEY SENT ME AND MY Debt validation request WHICH HAS GONE UNANSWERED YET THEY'VE REPORTED THIS ON MY CREDIT REPORT, AGAINST FDCPA VIOLATIONS. Let this serve as evidence that I AM NOT Christy [redacted].

I'll await an accurate reply from them and demand that they delete the tradline from all of my credit reports.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

RMCB has not done a good job of convincing their client that all documentation was received in a timely manner per the FDCPA and in good order, because this trade line is still on my report.

I will not consider this settled with [redacted] nor RMCB until it is removed from all reports.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

Dear [redacted], I understand your stance, but there is little else we (RMCB) can do. The circumstances involving the reporting tradeline were explained to our client.

We (RMCB) have no authority to remove it from your tradeline.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: This complaint is in reference to the unfair practice my AMCA to collect an invalid and negative information that was posted on my credit report.

AMCA reported to the three credit bureau about a medical bill that was incurred on April **, 2013 for the amount of $1591. I have not received or agreed to receive any medical services on that day under my name. I was not a cosigner for any medical services rendered by "[redacted]" (Account#[redacted]). Furthermore, there is no documentation to support any claim that I have personally received any services from AMCA client "[redacted] Specialty Testing Services". I did not sign any documents claiming to be responsible for any debts/bills incurred by others. New York State is not a Common Law State and therefore, I am not obligated by law to be responsible for my spouse's medical bills.

The invalid and negative information reported by AMCA in an attempt to collect an invalid debt is clearly a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

This unfair practice has affected my credit score and my finances.

If there are any documentation that can prove my debt then please send me following details: Debt amount, legal copy of debt documents with my signature and other detailed documents related with debt. Kindly also send the copies of ID proofs that were submitted along with loan documents.

If not please remove any incorrect and invalid information on my credit report.

Review: I have been receiving harassing calls and letters from this company regarding a bill I DO NOT OWE! When going for my annual wellness visit with my doctor, lab work was done and sent to Quest Diagnostics. On the form provided by my employer, it is clearly stated that there is no charge for this visit. It even says clearly on the form I provided to my doctor that the charge for lab work would be "zero." I have contacted both my doctor and Quest regarding this. My doctor made the necessary changes and corrected the bill from her. However, Quest has not done so. Now I am being harassed by this collection agency. I do not owe this bill. I do not want to be contacted again; and I want written proof provided indicating that this company has contacted all credit agencies informing them that this is their error, not mine. I would then like copies of my credit report clarifying the change. Thank you for your assistance with this matter. I have asked them to put me on their "no call list." Review: I am receiving harassing letters from this company on medical debit that I do not owe for a procedure that was not performed. I have also contacted this company by googling their phone number multiple times since they do not provide phone numbers in these harassing letters. I do not owe $199.01 as what this company claims I owe, I have tried to tell them this but no one is ever available to answer my phone calls to get this resolved. Where in the world has this $199.01 claim come from I am clueless which must not be accurate.Desired Settlement: To STOP contacting me since this company does not have the correct information. I live in [redacted] thus there is no way for me to have a medical procedure that is owed in [redacted] as what this letter is telling me.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

What [redacted] has failed to inform you is the information that they sent you is not accurate. I attempted to contact them several times via phone and through their online system PRIOR to you receiving this information and THEY DID NOT respond to my attempts. Finally around November 2014, I finally got a response from them and ALL that they provided was a robotic response. I specifically requested that they send me a copy of the ORIGINAL tests prescribe by the doctor. In stead, they sent me a copy of what their employee had manually input into the computer system. Thus I have no way to verify if they even inputted the correct test into THEIR computer system. I also challenged paying upfront because I specifically stated EVERYTHING WAS covered by insurance. Under [redacted] law and medical ethics, they have to tell me ALL costs upfront which they failed to do. In addition, it has been over 30 days since my last attempt to communicate with them which means their failure to communicate means they had resolved this issue on their end. I ONLY agreed to what the insurance covered and any additional tests performed by them I did not consent for them to perform. THIS IS A CLEAR VIOLATION of MEDICAL ETHICS along with STATE and FEDERAL LAW. Any documents otherwise are not accurate. Thus you have bad information therefore cannot collect on nothing because I owe nothing. I will also be contacting one of the disability rights groups in my state about this issue since [redacted]s is taking advantage of their disabled customers due to their improper billing practices.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

[redacted], thank you for your response, it appears that your dispute/complaint with our client is beyond our control. With that being said the requested itemized statement which we believe addresses most of your concerns in regards to what you are being billed for has been sent to your address that we have on file. Our collection efforts at the point will cease and our client will be notified of such. It is important to add that we can not control the actions of the original holder of the debt once returned. Please let us know if we may be of further assistance.

Review: In June, American Medical Collection Agency (AMCA) reported to [redacted] Credit Report Agency an amount due of $900+ for an invoice from Quest Diagnostics. This amount was a billing error on Quest's part, and it took me months to have them correct the invoice. They did so in November, and the invoice was reduced to the correct amount of $35, and I promptly paid. I called AMCA on 12/* and spoke to Linda, who said it was their policy to remove the item from [redacted] within 45 days. I advised Linda this was not a paid bill issue; it was an incorrect reporting issue from Quest. She agreed and stated the company policy of a 10 business day period to remove the item from my credit. I confirmed that the item should not be marked as PAID, but should be completely REMOVED from my report. As of 12/**, the item was still on my [redacted] report. I called AMCA and Linda apologized and said she would investigate. As of today's 1/*/2016 [redacted] update, this item still appears as $914. Reporting a false amount to a credit reporting agency is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.Desired Settlement: Immediate REMOVAL of this item from my credit report. I will consider the issue unresolved if the item is simply marked as paid. Secondarily, It is obvious AMCA has had multiple complaints about these issues, yet they still have an A+ rating on your site. I might suggest a review of Revdex.com's practices for rating.

Response:

Dear [redacted],

Review: This collection calls everyday, all hours of the day, including holidays. Which, I believe, is illegal for a collection agency to do. It is harassment. Also, according to reports I have read, if you do answer, when someone calls, all they do is ask for money. They do not identify themselves, and, if you ask any questions, or try to speak to them about anything else, besides just handing over information, in order for them to take your money, they will hang up on you. A voice mail will show on my phone; but, when I dial my voice mail to listen to the message, there is nothing there. I want these people to stop harassing me for money I do not owe!Desired Settlement: This agency is contacting the wrong person. The bill belongs to my ex-spouse, and they should be contacting her, in order to obtain payment. Although she was still under my benefits, at the time the services were rendered; our divorce has been finalized since then, and she is responsible for all debt (including medical bills and/or expenses), that were incurred during the marriage. Therefore, this agency should be contacting her, not me!

Business

Response:

In response to consumer complaint please be advised of the following: consumers phone number listed in complaint has been placed on the our do not call list. consumer will not be contacted at that number regarding this account again.

Please let us know if we could be of further assistance.

Review: I have received a collection notice for an EZ Pass unit that was fully paid up at least 5 years ago. I have not owned an EZ Pass unit for at least 5-8 years so I don't know how this collection bill was even created. This billing appears to be fraudulent.Desired Settlement: Retrieval Masters Creditors Bureau rescinds their unlawful demand.

Response:

In regards to complaint # [redacted] please be advised of the following. On 8/*/2013 our client ACS transport Solutions Inc. (EZ Pass) placed account # [redacted] with our agency in the amount of 41.89 for the revocation of the consumers EZPass account. At the time of revocation the consumer had a negative balance of $16.90. + admin fee's of $25.00

Our client ACS sends a letter to consumers that have a negative balance on there account for 60 days. At that time they are notified of the negative balance and asked to contact EZPass to bring there account balance current, dispute or report any equipment issues that may have led to or caused the negative balance. If the account balance is not made current within the next 30 days the account is closed. The consumer is sent a final notification explaining the closure.

It is not in our jurisdiction to determine the validity of the statements made in this complaint in regards to the consumers account. However in an attempt to resolve this matter we have elected to cease our collection efforts on this account. The consumer will not hear from us regarding this account.

It is my hope that this explains how this bill was generated. Please let us know if we may be of further assistance.
