operates in compliance with all applicable state and federal laws*** *** can review our RevDex.com profile on your website, where he will see that RISE is not accredited, but has earned an A+ rating.According to our records, on 9/9/*** *** received a RISE installment loan in the principal amount of $When *** *** accepted this loan, he signed a Loan Agreement that clearly disclosed the Annual Percentage Rate, the Finance Charge, and the exact payment schedule for the loanHe agreed to repay the loan in bi-weekly installments via ACH debits from his checking account on the due dates Per the Loan Agreement, *** *** may prepay in part or in full at any time without penalty, and can save interest by doing so.As requested in this complaint, we have cancelled future ACH withdrawals; however, *** *** remains obligated for repayment according to the terms of his Loan AgreementWe encourage him to contact us at *** to arrange payments by an alternate method.Thank you for the opportunity to address this matter

*** applied for and received an installment loan on 9/24/in the
principal amount of $500. One payment of
$was successfully posted, but the account was charged off in the amount
of $on 1/24/when it reached
days past due.
In October we agreed to
Ms***' offer to settle the debt (in response to a complaint filed
with the CFPB), but she did not follow through. We appreciate Ms***’
intention to repay this debt. Unfortunately,
because the debt has been charged off, the extended payment plan suggested by
Ms*** is not possible. However, we
may have other options available to resolve the accountWe recommend that Ms*** contact our
account services department directly at ***-***-*** to discuss available
repayment options.

We are in receipt of *** ***’s complaint, and appreciate the opportunity to respond.Our research confirms that *** ***’s loan deposit was effectively cancelled when she first contacted us to request that we cancel her loanUnfortunately, our system did not correctly
record/document this cancellation, so one of our agents processed a manual rescission the next dayThe effect of the manual rescission was that an ACH debit transaction was processed to *** ***’s checking account for the full amount of the loan.We have corrected the status of *** ***’s account on our system Further, we will ensure that this loan is not reported to any credit bureau We have contacted *** *** and discussed this mishap and resolution, and believe that the matter has been resolved to her satisfaction

Each time *** *** submitted an application, she also electronically signed a Credit Services Disclosure Statement in which she gave us consent to obtain information about her from one or more consumer reporting agencies and other sourcesAccording to our records, *** *** has applied for a new loan subsequent to the filing of this complaint.We appreciate *** ***’s feedback on this issue; however, making credit inquiries is an important step in underwriting and establishing a consumer’s eligibility for a loanThe inquiries we have made were initiated only in connection with *** ***’s applications for credit, so we will not remove the inquiries.Thank you for the opportunity to address this matter

Dear Ms***, We reviewed our June television commercials, and stand by our original response. The commercials do not state that your payments go down as you pay - it states that rates go down over time. One commercial shows you how to go to our website to submit an application All the commercials that refer to rates going down also include a disclaimer which is displayed on the screen. It states: "Loans, loan amounts, repayment terms and eligibility for reduced rates vary by state...". As we previously advised, the RISE website includes detailed information about the "rates go down" program. Most importantly, your Loan Agreement includes all of the terms and conditions of this specific loan, and does not include any information that would suggest that the rates, or payments, will go down for this loan. I am rejecting this response because: I don't care if my account is "ineligiable" I want my loan paid off by them at least because they make enough money because of their interest rate they can afford to rid me of the burden they have caused meworst company ever, I wish i'd never taken the loan out and I never will againIf this isn't cleared up I will find a lawyer to help me

My appologies for not responding this week to emails I have been very sick I am in the process of contacting my lawyer but not to address Rise that is my correct address (legally anyways, as I do not currently live there) however that is not my bank acount number nor is that my email those both belong to my soon to be ex wife who I did not give permission to open any accounts in my name depending on what he advises we will be contacting you soon and will be cooperating in any and every way we can

I am rejecting this response because:There buisness practices are very shadyI didn’t want to get into all of this but I willThis company will not let me register the bank account I would like to use without requiring information that was not required when the loan was initiatedWhen they found out I called to pay off the loan in the full amount I have been given the run around ever sinceYes they sent me the ach paper work to fill out but require personal information I will not share that was not required beforeThey even stated we will move as quick as we can but you are still going to be charged interest everyday it takes to get the ach changedIf they can’t work with me then that just goes to show what kind of greedy unprofessional buisness they areAnd they have complete control on how things are reported on creditThey can retract things and all of that they are just trying to be bullies and are upset that I contacted the Revdex.com in order for them to actually communicate with meAlso they never contacted me or sent a text that the payment wasn’t going through or to contact themI did that all on my own in an attempt to pay off a loan they gave me that I didn’t know there was any problems with and well they won’t take my paymentThen they charged me more money daily this is crazy and I would have to say probably boarders illegalThank you so much for everyone’s time and I hope this will get resolved sooner than later.

We stand by our original response. The email that *** *** received did not promise or offer a particular interest rate, our website thoroughly and abundantly describes our rate reduction program, and the rate reduction program was described by the agents that *** *** spoke to (and they advised that her account was not yet eligible). We would like to add that the new loan offered to *** *** was actually offered at a lower rate than her previous loan, not at a higher rate as she stated in this complaint. Thank you, RISE
