I dont buy autonotive parts anywhere else.....

I cannot recommend RockAuto highly enough. I live in Australia and faced the decision of dumping a perfectly good PT Cruiser which has been kept in as new condition, because Chrysler only want to sell you a complete component for $5000.00 instead of the part to repair it, which I purchased off RockAuto for less than $30.00. I decided it was worth the risk of ordering the part in the hope it would turn up and work.
Much to my delight, it turned up on time as promised, was a better quality part than the original and my car is back on the road for many more years, I hope. I have now taken to hunting down people in car parks and at car shows with the same car and giving them RockAuto's contact details for when their car suffers from the same common problem. Thank you RockAuto for your fast, efficient and reliable service.

Review: I received a wrong part in box. I went thru the process of returning it. I first got email saying I got credit for part and then they reversed it. Saying they do not sell NAPA parts. But that was what was in box. I payed for returning shipping and now they don't want to refund my money and in top of that they want me to pay for them to ship part back to me. I had to go out and buy fuel pump locally so that I can fix my car.Desired Settlement: Refund

This customer was shipped the [redacted] fuel pump, part #[redacted], that he ordered. When setting up the return online, the customer confirmed that the part he received was branded [redacted]. However, what we received was a NAPA fuel pump (NAPA is one of our competitors). Photos are attached. We offered to return the part to him at his shipping expense, but we are not able to refund him for parts purchased from a competitor.

Rock Auto has a great selection of parts, awesome prices, and fast delivery. I always check local prices against theirs, and 9 times out of 10 they are cheaper by a long shot. Very happy with both the parts I've received and the quick turnaround time. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I suggest customers avoid this company. They are using unfair if not illegal sales practices. Their online catalogue is often inaccurate resulting in customers buying products that will not fit their vehicles. This happened to me. I spent $160 only to find out from a dealer that the part was wrong. RockAuto.com wanted me$100 to have the part removed and returned to them at my expense---which was more than I paid for the part. All because their online catalogue was inaccurate--which they admitted. I suspect they are doing this on purpose to sell products fraudulently.

Great company to deal with and has a dedicated staff to handle any and all issues. I've ordered parts from them for years and they've been honest in all of their dealings. Even when I receive a defective part from a supplier, they not only give me full credit but also pay the return shipping.

Review: I purchased an oxygen sensor that was installed on my vehicle. When a Calif. emissions test was performed the test failed due to this part. I mailed the sensor back to Rock Auto. They said the time limit was past on the guarantee. I explained that Calif. requires emissions testing every other year, so there would be no way for one to know if the sensor was defective until the vehicle failed the emissions test. They basically said: "Too bad." & have refused any attempt at a refund.Desired Settlement: Rock Auto refunds my original part purchase price, plus return costs both ways.

In February 2013, the customer

purchased a wholesaler closeout part

that listed a 30 day warranty. In May 2014, the customer reported the

part had failed according to an emissions test he had performed

outside this warranty period. We explained since over a year had

passed beyond the warranty period, the return will not be accepted.

The customer then returned the part without our consent, so the part

was disposed of. No refund will be issued.
