The company exceeds my expectations in product diversity, quality, delivery, and cost.
C'mon now... Think about it... What other auto parts business do you know of which has the inventory with the means to get it right the first time?

Review: on tuesday dec 2 2014 around 0700 hours, I made another purchase from rockauto llc on the internet. rockauto had already sent me a defective part last week,so I reordered another one. I paid quite a bit extra for 2 day express service thru fedex. on rock autos website it clearly states that if you make an order late in the day( central time I am eastern time), then order may not be processed until next business day. this implies that if order is placed early enough ,order will be processed same day. since I did this order very early in the morning, for an item rockauto had in stock, this order should have been processed that very day for fed ex to pick up. even if the next day( wed dec 3 2014) this item should have gotten here in 2 days. thats wed and thursday is 2nd day. I paid for express 2 day delivery on the morning of tuesday dec 2 2014 and got this item friday dec 5 2014. that is not 2 day that is 3 day delivery. even the box states shipping date wed dec 3 2014. wed is 1 day, Thursday is 2nd day. I got it on the 3rd day. fed ex refuse to do anything and when I called rockauto and spoke to a male customer service agent named mike, he was very rude, refused to help me and stated that I got this in 2 days. Thursday WAS 1 DAY, FRIDAY WAS 2 DAYS..his counting is a little off.he refused to help so I told him what legal action I was taking, rockauto ripped me off.Desired Settlement: I want 100% full refund including all shipping costs to me and back to them. box has not been opened I cant use it now....

shipping costs will be refunded.

This is my second purchase from Rock Auto. This review reflects my satisfaction with my first order, in its entirety, and my second order, through the ordering process (I have NOT received the second order yet).
Overall, I am very satisfied with Rock Auto. The on-line ordering process is straight-forward, though there are several sorting options that seem complicated (but I appreciated their function once I researched how to use them).
The prices for parts I have searched on Rock Auto are great, however the shipping costs seem high to me (one of the previously-mentioned sorting functions did help to save some shipping costs). Still, the total cost of the items I purchased are less than other prices I have searched, both on-line and at salvage yards, AND they are delivered straight to my door!

RockAuto Rocks. If it isn't right they make it right quickly. I have ordered parts for 6 different cars for years and only once was there a mistake, their customer service quickly (over night) remedied the parts with no additional costs to me.
To shop any where else is just throwing your money away! I tell my friends/family about this site all the time. A+++++

The best selection of parts. OEM, aftermarket with info on quality, popularity and installation. I live in HI so shipping is always an issue. Some sites won't even ship here. RockAuto also is very quick at gathering and shipping my parts. Returns are not a problem. RockAuto's site can be a maze at times but if you poke around and read there usually is a link to what you're looking for. I've been turning wrenches for 40 years now, I appreciate having a choice of quality parts at the best price, delivered quick to use on my jobs. The crew at RockAuto are the best. Mahalo

I have ordered only twice from Rock Auto but the parts were very difficult to locate and RA had them both and shipped them quite rapidly.
There is no doubt I will continue to do business with them. In fact I plan to make another purchase in the very near future.

Best price on the part I needed, ordered on Sunday and part arrived on Tuesday. Even though I often find Fed Ex shipping slow and usually won't buy from vendor who ships Fed Ex, this transaction was great !

I do not recommend ordering any parts from Rockauto.com. They knowingly sold me a catalytic converter that was illegal in CA. At the time of purchase the part was not clearly designated accordingly. The confirmation email (receipt) did not state that the part was illegal in CA.

I have had multi transaction with Rockauto all have been good. One of the my first purchases I ordered the incorrect parts the return and credit to my card were handled without any difficulty.

Ordered parts. Had them in a couple days fast delivery, I was surprised I get them that fast.

I have been using Rock Auto for a few years now. I have had excellent services from them. I found almost all of the products I Have purchased from them to be the correct size and in good working order. I have only had one return which was an error on my part with an order, when asked about return the company advised me to keep the part at no cost and shipped the correct part. The part I had ordered cost more to ship than to replace the part. My hats off to this company for understanding the reality of business!

Rock Auto's website contains no Freight Shipping instructions about having to be home to receive the shipment. This is only imparted to the customer after the order is placed, via confirming email. Furthermore, the shipper reports that they will not remove the cargo from their truck. I must somehow remove the shipment at the curb line in front of my home. What am I paying $130.00 for???
The customer service rep just talks on top of me when I am trying to convey my frustration. He doesn't give a darn about my business, so I choose to take my business elsewhere from now on.

I dont like online ordering but the prices are great and shipping was fast
