I copied this from the website. According to this descriptions - the kit includes the water pump. At least I can see that it says- Includes: Timing Belt, Camshaft Belt Tensioner, 2 Camshaft Belt Idlers (Hydraulic Actuator not Included); Water Pump Driven by Timing Belt, Interference Engine

Actually the water pump is not included. This description is misleading. It makes people to think that the water pump is included.

This incorrect advertising led to additional costs I had to pay to local retailer for the pump, plus additional mechanics time cost.

When I called to the customer service. Representatives (I talked to 2 representatives) were not willing to understand. they said that I looked at the wrong section and refused to admit that the advertising is misleading. The manner they talk to customers is rude.

indication that a water pump would not be included. A semicolon is

used to separate two components of the part description, which

explains this kit is for a vehicle that uses a water pump that is

driven by the timing belt. Since we shipped what the customer

ordered, no refund will be issued.

Response:

Review: I orders suspension parts from Rock Auto and paid the full amount for the ordered parts. Rock Auto ships only 1 part and delays the shipment of 7 other parts for over a week. During this time I am contacted by Rock Auto asking for more money to receive 2 of the parts on the order despite the fact that I had paid in full for the original order I placed through their website. I agree to a refund on the 2 parts expecting a full refund for the 2 parts I paid which included taxes and shipping to Canada.

Several days later, Rock Auto fist issues a store credit for $3.08 (despite me asking for a refund). This was for 2 parts I paid $14.63 (plus shipping to Canada and taxes). When inquired, Rock auto issues another store credit for $14.79. This appeared to me as a deceptive practice on Rock Autos part.

When I checked on their website for the same order they sent me (without the 2 parts from the original order, which I consented them to cancel due an logistic issue on their part and no issue of mine), the total shows as $241.30. I had paid $276.xx for my order.

I request a refund for the balance between the amount I paid and amount it is showing on their own website for the same order. They refuse to refund me the proper amount stating that the shipping cost did not go down for them for my total order. This is despite their own website showing a larger price difference for the order total for with and without the two parts.

I would like to receive the acceptable refund which is the difference between what I had paid and what the order total is showing on their website for the order without the two parts.Desired Settlement: I would like Rock Auto to either honor the initial agreement we had by sending me the two parts they cancelled and cancelling the store credit they issued or refunding me the difference of $276.91 and $241.30 which is the difference of the order total showing on their website for the order without the two parts they cancelled.

Mr. [redacted]’s original order total was $364.77 CAD. After canceling two out of stock items, his final order total was $341.24 CAD. The exchange rate was 1.3173. The RockAuto Order Confirmation showing the original payment, the canceled items, and the final order total is attached. There was no shipping adjustment due to smaller items being shipped with larger items; this enabled us to provide combined shipping. There was no duty/tax refund adjustment due to no duty/tax having been assessed on the canceled items initially. Mr. [redacted] was issued the difference of $17.87 USD ($23.09 CAD) as a check on October 15, 2015. Due to daily exchange rate differences, the refund we issued was $0.44 CAD less than the Order Confirmation shows. No further refund is owed and Mr. [redacted] informed me that he has already purchased the canceled items elsewhere.

RockAuto is great!!! I'm a handyman, I live in Hawaii, to get parts for my car, and truck at napa, oriely, or any other parts store the prices are astronomical! $90 for one O2 sensor! I found RockAuto after comparing a ton of retailer's Web sites for a specific part. My dad suggested I check them out - so thrilled that I did!!! They had the part for $74, where the nearest retailer had it at $120. With shipping and tax I paid $84. The package arrived early and was in great shape - the part was well protected. The new part actually fit my vehicle better than the original part.
