I purchased a TV console, dresser, nightstands and a chest from Rooms To Go on August 1stI have had numerous deliveries of the same pieces and each time they arrive brokenOn the 3rd time my floors were accidentally damaged and I immediately (within minutes) called to report the damageI was told that someone would follfrom the claim departmentI waited and when I didn't hear I called to inquire about it and was told someone would follup with meIn the meantime the furniture was delivered again and yet again it was damaged and a different colortime At this point we were very frustrated and decided that we could live with the damage and the different colorWe were told that we would receive a discount of 25% for keeping "as is" and that we would receive a letter to accept the discount25% was not nearly enough for the amount of hassle and damage that we have endured, but just wanted to be done and since we couldn't fully return at this point we thought just accept the 25% and move onThe letter came and it was for 15% so I called and was told that it would only be 15% and they won't honor the 25% that I was toldSo now I have damaged floors and damaged furnitureI called again about the damaged floors and finally after and a half weeks someone from claims called and requested I submit a statement and photosI emailed the requested statement and photos immediatelywithin an hour of speaking to the claim's representativeI was tired of waiting and calling for them to come look at my floors so I had my floor installer come look at it and it requires pulling up the flooring and baseboards in one whole room in order to replace the boards that are damaged because of how my flooring is layed downI emailed Rooms To Go claims to let them know that and that is when I was informed that they would not be accepting responsibility for the damage; they feel that they took precaution when delivering and sorry it was damagedWhat??? SeriouslySo now my brand new floors (we hadn't even moved in the house yet) are damaged and my furniture is damagedI would hope that a company like Rooms To Go would try to mediate the situation and make it right, but instead they are refusing to do anything about either situation

We purchased sofas, recliners, a desk and a king size bed on 7/4/It was delivered the following week with the headboard to the king size bed being brokenThey left the bed here and made an appointment for the following week to bring a new oneWhen they brought the second one, it too, was bustedThey again, made another appointment to bring headboard number the following weekWhile we waited all day for headboard number 3, it never cameBy 8:that evening, I made no less than phone calls getting lied to that it was still "on its way" to my houseI requested to talk to a manager and was told they weren't availableI requested to be called back by a manager and am still waiting for that phone callThe next day they finally admitted that the headboard was out of stock and that was why it was never deliveredI tried to call the store where we purchased it to talk to a manager and was told repeatedly, they are not availableSo I physically drove miles to the store

on May 25,I purchase a bedroom set from RTGI call to cancel the order about a week later I was told I have to go in the storeI went to RTG speak with MrPto cancel the order he then told me that I only have hours to cancel my order to get a full refund and 20% cancellation fee and I can only get a store credit for the remaining balance.(I paid $on my visa card at the time of purchase)I left the store and call the customer service department I was told to go back to the store and speak with the store manager, I went back speak with Franklin he stated I can only get a store credit with is $the furniture were never deliver

the information provided to me when the technician came to the home is not what the customer service department was given
On Wednesday June 8th at 10:45am technician came to look at the one year old mattress which has become extremely soft in a short period of time
He took out string for one end to the other and then with measuring ruler advised the right side of the mattress had a 2" impression while the left had a 1" impression the 2" was definitely out of the standards so he said this should be no problem to have it exchanged since the mattress comes with a yr warranty When I called this morning to ascertain what is the next step, customer service advised the techinician said there was only a 1" impression in total and therefore there is no further action I explained this is not correctthis is not what he told me The customer service advised I would have to wait another days before they can send someone back out to remeasure!!!

The table and chair set that we were drawn to had a big sign on the table with President's Sale written on it and in big red letters marked $for table with side chairs In the very bottom of the sign, marked in much smaller print was $which displayed another table and chairs, plus a side cabinet option, and a hutch option all with separate pricing I believe the signage was placed to deceive the customer in thinking THAT table and chairs was their special President's Sale offer of $instead of the real price of $which reflects $more for the table because of the leaf option We were later told by the store manager after complaining about the $more for the table, that this is common practice among furniture galleries when a manufacturer makes different style tables and chairs offered at different pricing options

If I could give Rooms to Go NEGATIVE stars I would They were quick to place our order and take our money, but delivered the wrong ottoman In addition, the leg to our sofa was brokenTheir resolution was to keep the damaged and incorrect items in our house and initiate an "exchange." It is TWO weeks later, and I am still waiting for the items to be correctedI have been on hold countless hours, and customer service agents keep promising to call me back (but, do not) The manager at the store, nor any of the supervisors can offer any explanation but "sorry."
