Dresser mirror was damaged during delivery and setup, however, the delivery drivers decided to hide the damage
On 06/02/I ordered several pieces of furniture Two such pieces was a dresser and a mirrorI'm now set to move to a new apartment and was preparing to take my mirror off of my dresser This is when I noticed a large split down one of the supports of the mirror What looks like happened was when assembling the mirror, the first screw split the wood, then, they used a second screw not in the location it was supposed to go, but below the screw hole near the bottom of the split (This is different than how they assembled it on the other side.) So now, I'm left with a $mirror that if I disassemble it to move, I may never be able to reattach it again because of this split On top of that, if I break this mirror, I now have a $dresser that is mirror-less
I couldn't believe that the delivery men would be so deceitful, So, I called rooms to go customer suppo

Impossible to work with for delivery of a working person

I purchased a bedroom from Rooms to Go A month after later, delivery was set up from 10-on 2/without notice to meThe foot board was a reject as it was not in a box It was cracked and attempted to pass onto me There was also no hardware to put the bed togetherAll this after the sales associate Jerry Wtold me the rails for the queen were on back order I then came din to change my bed to a king when he informed me the king was also on back orderI called him on January 14th where he was supposed to look into a temporary frame and he never called back
I called customer no service who told me the items could not be delivered until Wedbut could despite sharing I am not available until 2:00, she could not input my availability
This whole experience has been a sham from the beginning to the end

I had a scheduled delivery for today, 10/20/ The furniture never arrived and I don't know where it is
I placed two furniture orders, one on 10/13/and the other on 10/14/I called and spoke with a customer service agent on 10/18/to provide an alternate contact number as well as request that the delivery driver contact me 15-minutes prior to delivery He did not He called while he was sitting in my yard and did not bother to call the alternate numberHe was very rude and acted as if he was not at all interested in making sure that my delivery was handled in a courteous, customer friendly manner I explained to him that I would be there in minutes and he agreed, but when I arrived, he was goneI called the Corporate Office for assistance and to complain, but again, I received the same type of nonchalant, oh well attitudeI finally got in touch with the customer care center and the representative told me that she spoke with the delivery personnel manage

Damaging my floor and in total denial !
When I purchased my furniture on September 29th I was told we would receive a "white glove service" bringing a heavy duty dolly into my apartment does not show a white glove serviceAlso, opening boxes and leaving debris all over my floor is not that eitherI have purchased from this company for years when I lived in Miami,Fl and have never had an issue until now .Due to them sliding the furniture across the viynl floor they punctured holes all over the floor and lifted large sections When I filed a claim the response was that the sectional has plastic legs so it could not do that and they will not go on further .If you go to a customers house for a delivery and you see that their floor has a hole the size of your hand wouldn't you take a picture to make sure it does not fire back at you? My husband and I do not want the premium editions that come with the *** Journal I called their billing office and was told I cant have the subscription unless I take the premium additions We are charged $per addition and we do not use or enjoy them The supervisor gave me a different billing date to extend my paper this time Please read the following as I see it as an unfair business practice
"Due to the size and value of premium editions, there will be a $surcharge on each date of publication However, rather than assess an extra charge for the premium editions, we will adjust the length of your subscription, which accelerates the expiration of the subscription, when you receive these premium editions There will be premium editions per calendar year."

First, I do not understand how a company with over one star or less reviews, earns an A+ ratingThat alone is ludicrousThat being said...After losing everything, including our jobs in Hurricane Harvey, months later in February we were able to relocate and replace some of what we lost We went to RTG and selected a Cindy Crawford sofa We had purchased one similar only two years earlier and we loved it, so we had no reason to expect lessWe wanted a red one, but we were told it would be to weeks before they could deliver it Again, we had nothing So when the sales rep suggested we could get the floor model a lot sooner, we compromised I thoroughly inspected the sofa, (which my sales rep acknowledged later) and found no damageWe paid cash for the sofa and a set of three tablesA coffeetable, side table, and tv standWe were told we would have to pick the sofa up ourselves because they don't deliver showroom items Also, we had to allow the sofa to stay on the showroom floor for a week, until they could fill the empty space
My husband brought home the sofa and two of the tables, the coffeetable would not be available for weeksA few days later I noticed a frayed thread and upon inspection, discovered the cloth separating at the tufted seamsI called RTG who reminded me I bought off the showroom floor with NO warranty, I reminded the salesman how thoroughly I had inspected the sofa, and I would have never bought it with a busted seamAs I said before, the salesman remembered and acknowledged my inspection But he couldn't help me His Store Manager was rude and arrogant and wouldn't even discuss the matter with meI made numerous phone calls, was left on hold for hours sometimes, and never found a single person who cared
Finally I spoke with someone who suggested THE ONLY solution would be for me to purchase a replacement cushion and hire a professional upholsterer to replace it Which is what I finally did
We were going through a LOT at the timeWe had just had to relocate over miles away, my daughter in law was literally dying of leukemia and we were caring for her two small children, one of which is quadriplegic Cerebal Palsy, non verbal, tube fed, and 1/year old who can't even hold his own head up, and had to be hospitalized for weeks while our son stayed with his wife at the hospitalWe got the call in the RTG parking lot, just as we arrived that she only had about weeks to live, Then, as we were shopping, my husband got a call that his Mother passed awayA few days later I was admitted for days with pneumoniaThen she was sent home on hospice to dieWhich she did, on April 1st, Easter SundaySo my timing was not perfectWhen the upholstery professional came and unwrapped the cushion from the thick plastic sheeting it was shipped in, we noticed that the factory had missed one of the tuftsAt this point, the old cushion had already been cut away and the sofa was torn down to the frameThen my phone rang and it was the upholstery company calling to tell me the cost would be more than double the amount I was quotedI asked what if I don't agree? They responded that he would get up and leave the jobOf course I agreedI called RTG, who told me that couldn't do anything because I let another company (the one they recommended because they didn't have a repairman available) install the cushion!
Again, I spent hours every so often trying to reach someone who caresNo one doesMeanwhile, my coffeetable is finally delivered a few months later, and the first time the delivery guy scooted it, one of the wheels broke looseIn addition, the finish was a totally different color than the other two tables
They exchanged the coffee table and brought the other new tables too, I guess so the finishes would matchThe next set of tables they brought had defective drawers, and I ended up just keeping the first set, because I am exhausted from dealing with them, especially when I had REAL LIFE issuesA few weeks later while vacuuming, I moved the table, (it has wheels for that purpose, I thought) and two of the wheels broke off My husband had to repair as best he couldNo sense trying to fight that battle againMeanwhile just a few days after the cushion was replaced, I noticed the seams starting to separate in the same place as the first oneA few days later another seam is coming apart, and now there are busted seams on the chaise cushion, and we don't even use that part of the sofa muchAfter spending a lot of time researching I have discovered several reviews for the same problem with the same exact sofa that has been discontinued since I bought almost a year ago, but still being soldShame on you RTG
The living room set is the ONLY thing I have been able to replace since I lost everything, and it is Garbage!

I asked for brand new chair but was sold a floor display instead accoring to their LIST
On 1/18/18, I was assured a brand new desk chair coming from warehouse in a box to store for pickupA clerk called stating chair came but workers mistakenly assembled it but, if not fit into my car, they would disassemble
I took it home and found it unfomfortable, called customer service for possible adjustment, was told sales final and nothing could be done because chair was floor dispay according to LIST (not sure what LIST that was and explaination refued)
Called store but was told chair was not a floor display so my request for refund rejected
Someone at Rooms to go either lying or incompetent and I am left with a chair not only uncomfortable but also wondering how many people had sat on it in their dirty clothes

Went to store in Raleigh Nc and purchased furniture worth over 8000& but was mislead and when delivery came it was missing items and stuff was damaged

bad instillation of bed frame from installers stripping screws and couplings falling out of product
I purchased this bed in July and had to wait months for them to deliver itthey service my area one day out of the month on a TuesdayOne of the installers told me that his partner had stripped the screws in the foot board and the feet of the foot board will not be able to screw inThat same installer returned months later with the wrong parts and said the foot board would need to be replaced After several failed phone call attempts to get the foot board replaced we had to give up on getting our product replaced On February 28th 2018, I had to take the bed apart for carpet replacement and discovered that all of the screws were stripped with a T-screwdriver and/or a hex screwdriver from using power toolsI also noticed that several of the screw couplings were falling out when the screws were removed All I am asking for is my bed to be replaced photos of the screws and

we purchase a sectional sofa and love seat which my wife and I are never home ever the furniture from rooms to go is unbearable to sit in because they sink in towards the middle of the sofa sectional, the love seat is coming part like the product came from chinamy wife and I just had a baby and no one can sit in sectional sofa or love seat because how crazy uncomfortable the dip is towards the middle and poorly made furniture it is And we have not used the couch at all given our schedules (I travel and shes a nurse) Please we went to the store to spend another and its complete unfair and unjust that rooms to go gets away with doing this clients and not standing behind there productsI have contacted other forms of media because it seems to be a trend with rooms to go All these celebrities backing furniture which cant even stand time of use

HORRIBLE COMPANY!
My girlfriend and I purchased a couch years ago and the frame cracked in half while we were sitting on the couchI then called customer service to see what they can do for me, and all they said was take it to a local furniture repair shopI am extremely surprised at how they DO NOT stand behind their productsA couch should not break after years of just sitting on itThe least they could do is send out one of their technicians and replace the couchI don't care if it costs something to replace the couch, but at least do something!
I will NEVER be purchasing furniture here again, this just boggles my mind that such a large company like Rooms To Go won't do anything about my problemBefore you decide to purchase something from here please know they DO NOT care about your issues you may have with the furniture in the future
I don't know how they even received an A+ on the Revdex.comIf Rooms To Go does see this comment and they actually care about their customers, then maybe you should try and do something for us than rather than telling us to fix it at some furniture repair shop
